they really drilled that into you in the original series but its rarely mentioned at all in brotherhood. They never even took the time to explain flame alchemy despite showing us who created it xD
Conisdering that it was made not long after the 2003 series ended, they probably assumed a fair number of people had a good Idea of how it worked already.
Pepperidge Farm I thought I uses the components of the sir and a spark to make fire isn't that obvious?
I have no idea what you said so I don't know if you are messing with me. What mustang does is control the oxygen density in the air and alters/moves gases apart to allow the spark from his gloves to grow and travel in specific ways. This in turn means that changing air currents can have a disrupting effect on his alchemy and stop him from producing a strong flame.

It always amuses me that Ed is the voice of Broly and Kimbley is the voice of Trunks xD So drastically different
Alex Armstrong and Vegeta are both voices by Chris Sabat.
And I'm pretty sure Ling and Jaco have the same voice actor too.
yeah but you can clearly tell who Sabat and Todd are even when they adjust their voices. Kimbley and Ed are vastly different performances than Trunks and Broly and while I can tell Kimbley is Eric Vale like I can with Trunks I wouldn't have been able to tell if I listened to them separately and hadn't already known he had that sort of range.
Also apparently Buccaneer is Nappa.
Yeah they do. Todd Haberkorn. Mai Cheng and Bulma have the same voice actor as does Lieutenant Ross and 18. Hughes is the same VA as Krillin and Bardock. Ditto for Alphonse and Dende along with Father and Dr. Gero. Tucker and 17 too. You get the idea.

I always wondered if it was a chicken/egg situation with Captain Buccaneer. "Buccaneer" means pirate, and he has a metal replacement for his hand, and a "crocodile clip" automail. In the Japanese version he's voiced by the same VA as "Sir Crocodile" from One Piece, a pirate with a hook-hand. Was that just big brain thinking from the people who cast him or was that considered when the manga was being created? The same way the girl with auto-mail legs who pick-pockets Ed is voiced by Nami from One Piece, the catburglar.

This is another big problem with only doing one episode a week you guys are still confused and asking questions about stuff that has already been answered and if you're concentrating on stuff in the past how can you focus on the future I'm not even saying released more than one episode a week I am saying at least watched 3 episodes all together then release them one by one because at someone who loves you guys and loves this show is extremely frustrating when you literally asked the same questions every week and the discussions are only 10% different from the week before
David W I think it is fine. Watching weekly is the way it was originally aired. People got along fine with it. They clearly enjoy the show so they will likely rewatch it again on their own time and get stuff faster or see it with new perspective. A lot of people admit they had to rewatch the show multiple times to get what is going on or catch things they missed before. I think it is fine to do a week by week basis.
@Jjop017: The clearly isn't the case with these guys because they consistently forget things that have been answered already. And much of the comments section is saying the same thing. Watching a single episode a week is an easy way to forget details.

Where on earth are Blindwave from? They keep talking about places I know and they use vernacular I’m familiar with. Did they once say Marietta, Ohio? I’m about a twenty-minute drive from there.
As far as horror movies with snowmen are concerned, there is a crime/thriller movie called Snowman about a series of murders marked by a snowman outside the victim’s house. It’s mediocre, but also an adaptation of the much, much better book of the same name by Jo Nesbø, an acclaimed Norwegian crime author. I would absolutely recommend checking out his series around Harry Hole (pronounced “Hooleh”), of which Snowman is the 7th installment iirc, though you can easily read it independently.
Nesbø’s writing style has a very cinematic feel to it, and every character in his books feels like an actual person with their own lives and hobbies. Plot threads run alongside each other independently only to come together in unexpected yet logical ways near the end. Snowman is his masterpiece, and I highly encourage anyone to read it (it’s available as an audiobook too), even if crime isn’t usually your go-to.

Ed's also the voice of Broly, and Dende's voice in Kai is Al. It's because Funimation dubbed both the Dragon Ball franchise and the Fullmetal Alchemist series. I'm sure there are many others.

Not too slow for the crew. They are enjoying it at this pace, it's about the journey not the destination.
about the journey? you do realise that by only watching one per week they forget 90 % of the details right? and because of that the commentary obiously suffers a lot. having two episodes a week would help their memory and therefor improve the "journey"
I know this comment is like 2 months old but like have you seen their schedule? They react to over 14 shows a week and original content and each show takes at least 6 hours or more to edit and render and upload and they are grown men with jobs so it isn’t that easy to be a UA-camr just saying.
They post 2-3 videos a day so that’s 12-18 hours of editing or waiting for their editor to render and send them the final version. They have lives and work so I wouldn’t complain because I bet they work so hard to put up this content. A 20 min video takes about 2 hrs and half to render to correct format, and then 2 more hours to edit and render again and then 2 hours to upload on UA-cam. It’s not easy.

i was honestly disappointed with kimblees performance, they hyped him up so much and he pretty much gets owned by scar. I get that scars been non-stop killing and kimblees rusty but the disparity shouldn't have been that big lol

You know whats really bugging me ? Naruto would be the perfect series for them to react to: story with a lot of twists, deep and relatable characters, a lot of different techniques, different fighting styles, a lot of different factors that decide fights, deep and interesting protagonists as well as badass and deep villains and more to discuss about than probably any other show besides got. Yes it has a few plotholes (especially in shippuden towards the end) but Im still 100% convinced they would really love it. Only problem is: without fillers it would still be 418 episodes (naruto and shippuden), which means with weekly reactions they would need 8 years to complete it :/
benjamin brönnimann thats why ive strayed away from shonen jump series. Brevity is the soul of wit. All the top 5 animes are short, concise, to the point and know when to end.
I loved naruto and watched it all but most episodes would have 5 mins of intro and outro, 5 minutes of flashbacks, 5 minutes of dialogue and 5 mins of new action. Doesnt make for a good watching per week imo. There would be barelt any new information every episode

Now, a long running series that would be great for them would instead be One Piece for all the reasons you listed. Obviously, they're never going to do it. But still.
I love naruto :) but FMAB is better. So i'm perfectly fine with them watching shorter running shows instead. And naruto really has some weak phases... I'm not even only talking about 200 episodes of filler (quals 4 years of filler :o), but some arcs and character plots that aren't all that exciting or just way too long.
Rewatching these years later. You think Shane left bc he is always getting shot down and ignored .
