This channel is *gold* :) Just got into 40k myself, had the introduction set with paints and all that on my wishlist for xmas, wasn’t sure I was gonna get it so safed it by purchasing the mid size set and hid it in the closet, got the introduction set under the tree, started painting the 25th, got hooked, ran down to the city center on the 27th to exchange the mid size kit for the ultimate starter set to continue building and painting - and your videos are *exactly* what I’m experiencing, so much fun, keep it up :)
@@AdeptusArtifexus I decided to go the «first foundation experience» way and start by painting following the instructions in the introductory set, basic space marines and tyranids, with the ultranasjonalister paints, and then I’ll attack the ultimate starter set and see how adventurous I’ll be :) But wanted the super basic feeling first and then pimping the basic miniatures in the introductory set as I fet better, might actually put that process on a yt-channel, had the same idea just a week before I discovered your channel :)
The process for me personally is base coat-base paint-dry brush-wash-hight light-details. Keep cracking on mate your models are improving vid by vid 👍🏾
They look great! So glad you did a super cut, I could not get on with trying to watch them as shorts... And to further age myself, when did bolt gun casings change from red to black? I used to love my Christmasy Dark Angels in their red n green.

Thankyou so much! 😁 welcome to the hobby! What factions are you painting & what're you painting them as? 😄

That's a fair approach to take! 😁 & do it, amigo! Putting one's work into public scrutiny is a great way to improve quickly!

Okay, cool beans! Thankyou kindly! 😁
Get yourself a very strong magnet. That way it will pull the small magnet out of the model.
Sound advice for future! 😁 but this one is now entombed in the battle brother 😅
Just found your channel, love the content :)
Thankyou kindly! 😁

Thankyou! Yeah, I'm more of a long form guy myself, too! 😁 I believe some are black & some are red 😁 it seems to depend on chapter colour scheme!
Awesome
Thankyou! 😁
Cool🖌
Thankyou! 😁
It would be really cool if this series kept going till you upgrade from amateur all the way to pro lol.
That's the plan! 😄
