you can fill leftover paint in dropper bottles. but as rule of thumb, mix multiple smaller amounts to decrease wasting paint.

always do test sprays on kitchen towel before spraying the model. gives you a hint on how paint goes through. btw: GW paints in air rushes needs more thinner. and always prime pink for a vibrant yellow

I did this for the 1st time in June 2024.. with the help of my 8 year old twin boys and my 3 year old daughter. It was harrowing

as a beginner I personally love the push fit, it's just so much easier and less stressful in my opinion

If i paint, i tend to make it an all day, however many days its takes project until it is done. I slog through it in pretty much all my free time until whatever project i am working on is finished. Thats not bragging, if anything its an admission of insanity and i dint recommend anyone else paint the same way i do when it comes to how long i go for.

Worst I did was about 27 ish hours with tea breaks

Ill be honest with u when i worked i always did my best work 30 min b4 work an would get mad cause i didn't have more time. I recently fell into a place where working is something i dont have to do anymore and painting has never hit me like it did when i worked. Im trying hard to find that energy Shoot even paying sometimes to feel "Energetic" but its not the same idk why but i can go in there set it all up and just have no intrest in painting. Ive painted seven 2kpts armies so far an want to paint some 30k nightlords an dark angels but loose my drive everytime i sit down.

Very nice I like your short videos, if you spray the tape and the model with matt varnish after masking, you can prevent the paint from leaking underneath.

Base layer with a light pink will give you a much easier time getting that yellow to pop and it will also help your undertones. Also, don’t be afraid to use speedpaint in your airbrush and use as a filter….or to mix with your standard acrylic paints and brush on. It Really helps with vibrancy and coverage. Such as, zealot yellow speedpaint with averland sunset makes a rich goldenrod color that flows easily and covers in 2 coats. (1:2-3 drops of acrylic paint) Great job buddy! You get better and better every day! Just awesome seeing your progress.

About the storing i bought a bag full of empty bottles for the paints .

I do not recommend using metallics that aren’t meant for an airbrush, in the airbrush. The flakes for the metallic are too big, and will cause clogging in your airbrush substantially faster

you cant call yourself an ameteur without stickers

If your plan is to use this in an airbrush then just mix it in the well. That way you can minimise the loss

I have this exact airbrush. I recommend buying a new gun tho because the one supplied will cramp your hand. The pistol grip ones I find are the best for if your spending a long time hobbying!!

You can buy packs of empty jars for thinned paint storage. I use a lot tamiya so I save the jars when I have finished one. Screw top jars are the best for ease of use
