Interesting comment. Sounds like the doctors are wise and aware to not upset the system and stay under the radar yet help others. Also, two medical doctors told me, on separate occasions, that they only received about 2 hours of training in medical school on treating using natural supplements etc. I've also seen medical doctors on videos saying the same thing.
Some of the things I keep on hand and use are: Magnesium, Oregano Oil capsules, Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth, Olive Leaf Extract, K2, D3, Vitamin C, Grapefruit seed extract, Biotin and other B Vitamins, Garlic Oil capsules, Zinc Quercetin, NAC, Lutein for the eyes although if you get garlic oil there is a little in that so I don't take Lutein as much.

Male, 60 years old: Had a DEXA scan in 2019, my bone mineral density in lumbar vertebrae was normal, but in femur necks I had a T score of -2.6 (ie osteoporosis). I added Vitamin K2 MK7 at 200microgram per day to my 4000iU of Vitamin D3 per day (my calcium intake from food is good). I had another DEXA scan end of 2022, and my T-score in femur necks imrpoved to -1.7 (so not osteoporosis anymore, only osteopenia now). Physical activity and weight did not change during this time frame. Will see in another 2-3 years wether this trajectory holds true and I can get back to "normal" bone mineral density. This is of course not proof that K2 improved my osteoporosis, but I will continue taking it and see how much I can improve my BMD.

Please, if you can afford it, get your vitamin levels checked because half of us don't need extra D. If anything we're low on magnesium.
After a year of taking the recommended amount of K2 & D3, I had my blood tested. My D was WAY higher than it should be. This can cause kidney stones and, in my case, overactive bladder.
I'm 64, so I chalked the urge to pee all the time up to aging. 3 months of not taking it and I'm not waking up 2 or 3 times a night or barely making it to the bathroom.

You specified and compared dosing of 45mg vs. 100ug
The 45mg doses in the Japanese trials were split doses of vitamin k2 mk4 variety. It's half life is short, hence the split doses. Three split doses per day.
On the other hand, doses at 100 ug or 200ug refer to a different version of vitamin k2 called mk7. Mk7 half life is substantially longer than mk4. It was with the mk4 that the Old Japanes ostoeporis research was conducted with.

Having a strong stimulus to push calcium and phosphorus into the bones can leave other areas like muscle and blood on the lower side and the heart needs these minerals to function obviously. Checking parathyroid hormone can be helpful even to see if Vitamin D is too high for you.

    • @michaelmcvige6701
      @michaelmcvige6701 Рік тому +1

I question part of your response, regarding, "leaving other areas like muscle and blood on the lower side". There is not solid research whatsoever that would prove your statement. Your body's first priority is to balance the "blood levels" of calcium and will steal from the bones of necessary to meet that balance. Without enough Vit k2 present, the calcium will calcify the blood vessel walls and muscles. Vitamin D actually increases calcium absorption and Vit K2 takes it to the bone where it belongs.

Not really sure what a hot plaque is but I understand that a heart attack is sometimes caused by an inflamed plaque bursting and blocking the artery. Widowmaker. I also think Vitamin K-2 works slower than that and we should all be conducting experiments only while maintaining our best health. I would be reducing inflammation in my body before running that experiment. So I wouldn't do the experiment if you are actively inflamed have severe heart disease etc. Research the protocol and aim to get to the goal needed to try the experiment. Might mean a big change in lifestyle first then slowly transition to using the supplement as desired. I wouldn't do these big doses on my partner who still eats too many carbs and sugars until he gets his sugar and carbs down to almost nothing for a 3 months. We are going on the carnivore diet soon and have been reducing sugar and increasing our intermittent fasting times to get ready. After that and blood testing the K2 experiment is on.

Look, I'm with you on stress. But please listen to me. Two times we killed cancer in my wife's brother both times in 30 days, seven years apart. I have the formula on my channel on paper on a video. 3 steps. 1. Kill 2. Boost immune. 3. Eliminate toxins. All within herbs. Jerry mcgkaughlin phd biochemist from purdue retired discovered paw paw and he worked with natures sunshine company to standardise it. Its from the spring time twigs of the tree, kills cancer day 1 starving the cancer cell ATP process. Then immune boosting herbs especially astragalus and the others like oil of oregano boost the white blood cell count super high and they eat the dead cancer and finally milk thistle and aloe and aloes and dandelion and some other stuff carries off the waste and remain dead cancer. I hope your wife trys this. Its excellent for tumors and melanoma, prostate, breast, throat, non hodgkins lymphoma etc. Etc. May not be excellent on blood cancer and then also brain and lung cancer is sensative, it will work but the elimination is the issue in the brain or lungs.

Vitamin D is complicated and here is some of the reasons why: (comments are welcomed)
Blood Serum Testing for Vitamin D levels in your body: Highly innacurate as they can't reflect the actual Vitamin D levels absorbed in your actual tissues, giving you a false sense of security.
Blood Serum Testing for Magesium: Why bring up Magnesium? Because Vitamin D isn't properly absobred effectively unless you have a certain level of magesium first,
the problem is magnesium testing via blood serum levels is also not effective, magnesium like Vitamin D as well, is something many people are unaware of they are likely deficient of it.

It sometimes takes a long time to learn about correct dosage of supplements. I had been taking vitamin D3 for a long time but wasn't told about K2. Learned about k2 and also decided to take it separately from D3. I had read that K2 grabs calcium from places it should not be like in your arteries. I surmised that plaque has a level of calcium in it and wondered if more K2 was safe and if more of it might help me manage my plaque. I heard k2 wasn't dangerous and started taking a 15mg capsule of it. It did not remove all my plaque (biofilms are hard to get rid of) but it did seem to make it more friable and easy to remove with tools and flossing. Now I see that I could do 45mg of K2! That is fantastic. Can't wait to see what else it will do for me at that level.

Vitamin D2 doesn't bind as well to the serum binding protein as the more natural vitamin D3 (both are found in nature though the main form is D3).. If you are a die hard vegan and think you must take vitamin D2, you should take it daily due to this property. Holick et al did some research on D2 and as I recall it that was his conclusion. As I understand it, this vitamin is influenced by both medical conditions and genetics more so than some other vitamins so YMMV. First, watch your serum calcium levels. On all the doses I've used my serum calcium remained in range. Just my opinion and I am an experiment of one.
