Yes. But imagine reaching the age of 90 and thinking 99% of kids you grew up with are gone, your parents are gone, most, if not all, your siblings are gone, etc. 90 would be lonely. No wonder many people who reach that age are just waiting to die 🤷🏻♂️
@@user2144, Yes I watched my mom go through that, but she had her children. We need to be resilient if we live until that age. Look for love and friendship outside our standard places.
She is absolutely incredible at 90, and her mental awareness is better than most 50 year olds, wow what a gem, an example for all of us as we age.

the mental awareness is shattered do to toxic overload, not age, it racks the nervous system which feeds the eyes and brain. So you can have even a teen that is mentally inept.

Beyond Lucille Ball, she is the first female comedian who was so funny and made a statement that she could keep up with the male comedians. A true legend!!!! She is one of the funniest women I’ve ever watched! ❤

This woman will be 90 years old in a few days! She looks amazing, and not the kind of amazing where you can tell she's had lots of work. She looks like herself. I grew up with her and adored her. I just can't get over how fantastic she look and even sounds. I watched The Carol Burnett Show every week from the ages 10 - 21 and cried when she went off the air.

I’m from the U.K. and loved her shows as I was growing up too. I was bullied relentlessly for being poor and underprivileged at school so I started to crack gags and expressions I’d picked up from comediennes such as her, including Lucile Ball. By the time I got to high school I was one of the most popular.😂😂😂😂

I had the pleasure of spending a week with Carol Burnette at an exclusive spa I use to work at in Southern California years ago! She is lovely, kind, funny and we love her. She set the tone for the week and it was great. I always ended the week with music singing in a jazz recital and I pulled my ear at the end of my performance and she loved it. She also attended one of my classes and asked if she could close the class. I said yes of course and she had us all laughing so hard by the end. What a week to spend with one of the most amazing women I have had the honor to meet and spend quality time with. I will never forget her. Happy Birthday Carol!

Same here!! I'm 52 and between the Carol Burnett Show and Fawlty Towers I could die laughing any day at either. Carol would come out on top though. No one has ever made me laugh harder.
I’m only 37 but been a fan for many years thanks to my mum. My first intro to her was Miss Hanagan in Annie 😂 then I watched her earlier stuff and fell in love with her.
She proves that laughter is the best medicine.
I always loved her and still do. She is so unapologetically funny and is still going strong at 90 as she was as a young lady
I have a 92 year old dad and his dementia started around the end of 90. As I watched this video I marveled at what I saw. God has blessed her in so many ways which allowed her to bless us in many more! I'm 60 and the Carol Burnett show truly influenced my sense of humor.

My mom died from dementia last year - she was only 79 and diagnosed when she was 73- expected to have her until her 90's - she had not been sick a day in her life. Such a horrid disease.

The only good memory I have of my Mother was sitting on the couch in the mid seventies, watching Carol and the gang. Love this lady.

Carol Burnett is one of the few "stars" that I would actually enjoy meeting. She is funny and charming and has never had a mean bone in her body. She put together the funniest group ever and let them have as many funny lines as she had. Her show was one of the funniest ever.
Still comedic, classy, and remembers with such detail. She's an amazing favorite ❤ Happy Early 90th!

A living icon! I grew up watching her show with my family, but my favorite memory is when I was checking into a youth hostel in Barcelona in 1987. As we were walking by the common room we could hear wild laughter. I poked my head in to see the large room packed with kids from all over the world, watching The Carol Burnett Show, dubbed in Spanish. Nobody understood the language, but everyone understood the humor. (Incidentally, it was the classic Gone with the Wind parody episode)😄. Filled my heart with pride that I had the honor of growing up with her. Thank you Carol❤!

With her good heart, she was wiping away tears! I’m not sure what moved her, but it was touching to see. Love her. A woman I knew was friends with many celebrities. She said the one who handled fame the best of all was Carol.

I was born in 1966. Ms. Burnett’s show aired from 1967 to 1978. Her show left an indelible memory from my childhood that is priceless. Our family would huddle in the living room in our 500 square foot apartment and watch her show on Saturday evenings. God that seems so long ago, but sometimes like yesterday. Thank you Ms. Burnett.

To this day Carol is still my favorite funny girl. I never missed a single show, loved her entire cast but especially Harvey and Tim. The way Harvey could not help cracking up always had me in tears, but Carol coming down the stairs wearing the curtain rod is an all time favorite. Love this lady and find her an inspiration since I'm only 7 1/2 years younger!

So appropriate that her special is called, "90 Years of Laughter & Love." I'm not 90 (yet) but this woman and her shows filled many years of my life with laughter and love. An absolutely brilliant comic who also mixed poignancy into some of her sketches that touched our hearts in between the guffaws and howlings. Even now there are a number of classic sketch references, such as her mention of Mrs. Wiggins, that keep my family, friends and I still talking and laughing about years later. Thank you, Carol Burnett for sharing your talent with us. BTW - you look fabulous. My goodness.

The Carol Burnette Show with Harvey Korman, Vicki Lawrence, and Lyle Waggoner was one of the funniest shows back in the day. Especially humorous when one of the cast members lost it live and the others joined in. Btw, Carol looks fabulous for being 90 and still has a great sense of humor.
