I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your products. When I emerged from occupation (Ukraine, Mariupol), I was able to return to work within a couple of days thanks to your products. Everything had been destroyed. I bought a laptop, connected to the internet, and downloaded all the necessary plugins, assets, and textures for my work. Some of my clients didn't even know about my "adventures". It was a great help to my family. This is an extreme case where your products were incredibly useful. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this comment and for sharing this story. It's been our goal to help 3D artists do their best work no matter where they live. We are so glad you and your family are safe during all of this.
Thank you. How do you get more falloff on the shadow? In the light settings? I have has issues with "shadow catchers", ambient occlusion and redshift when compositing. if you could post another freebie tutorial on that you would extra greater.... TY
You can adjust the shadow settings in the details tab of the light object. Adjusting the softness and transparency values can give different effects to the light.
Nick uses the place tool a lot, and it never works for me. I click and selects the plane or light, never moves the null. I have to manually just move the null to 0,0,0. Am I missing something?
May I ask if the rs renderer and adobe series software are opened at the same time, it will cause the rs rendering to become very slow. How do you solve this?
Thanks for watching! Thanks for the compliment. Now you know how to do it! It's our goal to share what we know and create so you can be a better 3D artist.
Nick doesn't sleep. Serving fresh content on the reg. Great quick studio style tutorial!
I appreciate that! We are making stuff to help you become a better 3D artist. Cheers!
Nice one, thank you Nick
Thanks for watching!
I love this stuff. thanks for sharing

Wow, I hope things are OK where you are, relatively. I can't imagine what it's like living in Ukraine at the moment, keep safe!

Take care ✌🏻
I’m a plus member, loving these tutorials too.
Thanks for being a member! Cheers!
Will you ever create a video where you discuss all the different redshift light types? Point and IES light are just impossible to use!
Love the tutorial and am almost ready to make the plunge as a plus member but need some more work first lol!
You got this!
Very helpful as always! Thanks!

@@Mds74257 I realized that after I posted the comment. Thank you. Gonna dig around for ambient occlusion / redshift... cheers
Great tutorial🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for being a subscriber! 🔥
Thanks
there is no comment in fact, I love always how you tweak stuff, you dam experienced artist man, cheers
Thank you, Visar! We appreciate that!
How to fold a piece of paper like this and get the perfect UVs without distortions?

Try clicking and dragging. Not just clicking. See if that helps.
CGG awesome ... 👍
love this!
Thanks, Granz!
@@Greyscalegorilla would you ever make a video where u share good redshift render settings updates for c4d.2023 for realistic rendering?
May I ask if the rs renderer and adobe series software are opened at the same time, it will cause the rs rendering to become very slow. How do you solve this?
Sorry Not sure. I don't have Adobe software open while using Cinema 4D.
who need this easy rendering ? We want to know how to create origami like that !
hehe. We love this model too! It's from our Library. Here is a link. 3dassets.greyscalegorilla.com/assets?searchTerm=Origami
Simple and nice ))))
Appreciate that! Thanks for watching.
great ♥
Thanks!!!
It always seems so easy when you do it! You're such great artist. I wish someday I will be at least half as good as you!
Thanks for watching! Thanks for the compliment. Now you know how to do it! It's our goal to share what we know and create so you can be a better 3D artist.
does anyone know if its a good idea to drop octane and learn redshift?
Both are amazing Renderers. I use both. Look for Octane tutorials coming soon.
@@Greyscalegorilla yes pleaseee 🙏🏻
Damnn❤
Thanks, Sam!
thanks. did you guys invent redshift and that's why you always want people to use it?
Greyscalegorilla is fully compatible with Arnold, Octane, and Redshift. Look for tutorials featuring other renderers soon!
are you guys exclusively redshit now ?
nice scene and all but this is more of an assemble/kitbashing using GSG+ stuff than an actual tutorial 😬
