That's the thing about hollywood. They're down with the violence, but they don't want to show the parts that make the audience squeamish feeling too much sympathy for the victim or disgust. They come out with scenes of brutality that are titillating not sickening.

You know In hindsight he could have just grab the fuse and put it out right before it reached the bomb. Edit: or not even that he could have just cut, pull, or bite the wire off before the lit fuse was anywhere near the bomb.
I'm really glad that Harriet got a happy ending, she was the only other genuinely good person in the entire film aside from Duke the Crow (the only bad thing that Duke really did was steal someone's car to take a joyride with Fritz, but still). She managed to get out of her abusive relationship and became a nun. Something that's also really sweet is that she visited Fritz in the hospital for what she believed would be the final time, possibly because he was the only person who was genuinely kind to her. That scene of Fritz trying to comfort her was the only time in the entire film where he legitimately felt sorry for someone other than himself (he didn't even give Duke that same treatment when he died, he didn't even notice him and I wouldn't be surprised if he forgot all about him soon after).

Harriet is the best character I think have a crush on. :3 But man. I do feel really bad for her because of those 3 dumbasses hurting her and whipping her too. At least Fritz saved her.
The juxtaposition between the graphic, realistic violence against the horse lady by the Nazi punk gang, and Fritz the Cat's sympathy to her after the fact made me feel something. It hurt to watch. LadyJosie and audio footage of bars in the ghetto, according to Bakshi.
@@bombabombom3603 i believe that. Considering the movies production history, i believe that.
Man Zootopia has not aged well since last I grew up
"Hey, you old, scroungy old ally cat... get out of them garbage cans... Haha!" First saw this in the 90s, still awesome!
Hard to beleive the man who made this went on to animate the kid friendly lotr
He had Aragorn walking around with no pants on lmao.
It was 2019. Still continue to consider this cartoon a masterpiece against the background of all other adult animated films. Bakshi is a genius. It’s a pity there isn’t anything like it today.
2019 everyone
The bunny is 50% of the youtube commenters I see
Yeah, Tumblr will do that to you.
@Empty Plastic Coat greentext is not cruise control for cool

Yup bunch of wannabes. They don’t hold a candle to real ones ww2
@Empty Plastic Coat found the 4chan's /´pol/tard nazi thats just like the bunny but even more of a loser since at least the bunny goes out you know.
"Far out."
Thats how I wanna go.
I think that's his catch phrase.
This was labeled as For Kids and I will never forgive UA-cam for that.
They almost think ALL ANIMATION is for kids.
I heard this show was dark, and I thought it was just some edgy bullshit. Little did I know this would make me actually squim
Schoen Perkins this is a movie
Usually if someone calls something edgy bullshit it ends up being good.
@@hellknightmordred7655 , just like the cracks who insult ASOIAF and GOT for having pointless violence and sex(it became true for the show in the late seasons, but forget that)
I swear, I found people like those a lot in the comment sections of shows like "Dirillis: Ertugrul". The show is good, but people act like things should never be explicit.
Did anyone watch that video that proved this age-restricted video was ALSO marked “made for kids”?
I just witness a prerape
And post rape.
Such a disturbing scene.
that chain was not necessary
*smacks her in the face with a chain*
"Hey guys, that's not cool. Don't do that."
"Taste the chain, I said"- that dude without pants from squidbillies
None of it was necessary
I mean, that's kind of the idea....
Well she DID embarrass him in front of his revolutionary friends.
I think it's funny that UA-cam's bots were stupid enough to label this as "for kids"
Especially as it's age restricted
@@Connie_TinuityError this whole FTC thing is a joke
So long, Fritz.
Can’t make movies this good any more.
What about Sausage Party?
Diego Bareno
He said "good".
What about the emoji movie?
Andrew Wilhelm Let's not get crazy!
Far out
So this is what happened to Buster Bunny after the end of Tiny Toon Adventures and after his bad breakup with Babs.
i loved harriet she didnt deserve any of that
I was wondering what her name was
Man, Bucky O'Hare has _really_ fallen from grace.
i love the voice of the blue haired lizard person omg

She is voiced by Judy Engles who also voices Winston Schwartz but she was also in Harold and Maude

The voice acting sounds so natural it’s almost terrifying.
Who else wishes their motorcycle can fly like that?
Malchik Blue lol
NGL.. fritz looks adorable
It would be kinda shocking if Fritz the Cat gets a 3rd sequel

This movie was all fun and laughs until I had to watch her whimpering to herself like that, dead-eyed and traumatised. Really made me feel that wonderful sickening horror :') Love the undercurrent of fear that something that horrible could easily happen to you :)
truly disturbing, but that’s what makes it so powerful i think
shit had me tearin up
That's the thing about hollywood. They're down with the violence, but they don't want to show the parts that make the audience squeamish feeling too much sympathy for the victim or disgust. They come out with scenes of brutality that are titillating not sickening.
The song that opens this clip is the best song in the film, a GFR style jam, and it's not on the album soundtrack. A deluxe edition of the soundtrack has been long overdue.
man that guitar piece at the beginning was magical. perfect while doing bong rips.
back when this kind of irreverent stuff was made to poke fun at how the mainstream media denied the existence of dark stuff
nowadays people calls dark humor on weak meemays that reinforce status quo
what
... what?
??????
Thank god UA-cam COPPA fixed this video,
Now I can enjoy their comment.
God, that was terrible, that bunny raped her. Like, i could feel the shivers down my spine with the abuse and tying her down then tbe absoulte silent with the tear drop. And when the cat said "i try to stop him" and the horse feeling so akward and uncomfortable while naked on the hill. Goddamn i was almost crying... this was terrible..
"All you care about is a reason to hurt, to destroy to blow up"
i love the voice of blue
I love the way he says "Ha ha" at the end of everything. As if everything's a big joke that he's too stoned to appreciate.
What?
This new episode of My Little Pony is looking great.
Blueberry Pitbull You, uh, feeling okay?
You know In hindsight he could have just grab the fuse and put it out right before it reached the bomb.
Edit: or not even that he could have just cut, pull, or bite the wire off before the lit fuse was anywhere near the bomb.
I don't think he knew she had already lit the fuse.
The "Far out," and the subsequent explosion, got a deafening roar of laughter in the theaters when this came out.
Now just imagine if most of the animation budget _WASN'T_ spent by Bakshi on blow.
I saw Fritz The Cat at a downtown theater in 1972. With one of the bigger screens at that time. The motorcycle in the desert scene was mindblowing on that screen. Like the whole movie was.
woww thats awesome. i cant even imagine seeing it on the big screen, but i bet that was sweet. i love the animation and the overall look of this movie so much.
@The Creature luckyyy! im jealous
Loved this movie as a kid. Found my dad's secret copy and would watch it late at night.
LOL
I hope you weren’t traumatized by seeing the strong sexual content and nudity at such a young age.
It didn’t feel uncomfortable?
man Baxter really let himself go after the gang split up hasn't he?
anyone remmber when this was marked for kids? lol
sophia watkins I do
I feel like Conker's Bad Fur Day was heavily influenced by Bakshi's style. The way they talk in his movies are way to similar to the dialogue in CBFD
Still better than Teen Titans Go
this video went popular last weeks. Who did shared this to the sheepies?
Facts, Fritz the Cat>>>>>>>>TTG!🤩🤩
Everything is better than TTG
implying this is bad. Fuck NO!
@@olleselin So true.
Harriet is the best character I think have a crush on. :3
But man. I do feel really bad for her because of those 3 dumbasses hurting her and whipping her too.
At least Fritz saved her.
Actually he did nothing, though he couldn't do much 1 against 3.
"I say you have got a problem..Ha ha."
I don’t know what’s worse, the fact that coppa put this on UA-cam kids one time, or the fact that actual people made this movie.
The juxtaposition between the graphic, realistic violence against the horse lady by the Nazi punk gang, and Fritz the Cat's sympathy to her after the fact made me feel something. It hurt to watch. Fritz's realization that 'The love you give is equal to the love you get' as well as the result of the explosion being suddenly real life footage was powerful. But maybe-
Welcome to "why is this in my recommended, 2020 Edition"

Is the Horse (girl) an metaphor for Heroin? She held a needle to get the rabbits attention, the animal is commonly a name for the drug, and no one seems to give a fuck in the drug house when he abuses her(doing drugs)
