Young Colbert circa the "time of Clinton, and the dark days of dial up internet" looked straight up like young Robert Downey Jr. from that time except sober and with his trademark elf ear.
+HystErik I hope he does keep doing this, but only if he can do it bigger every time. It will get tired if he just keeps doing it the same way everytime. I think Stephen can pull that off though.
+Alexander Smith I think Colbert is easing his way into late night. This is just trying to see what works & doesn't with a new audience. Soon... soon.. they will all be turned!
This is the one to watch for 2016. I'm definitely voting for Scott Walker in the Republican primary, even if he's dropped out. If he can only do to the federal employee unions what he did to Michigan's crooked state employee unions, that alone would be worthy of my support. A Wisconsin-style school reform initiative, maybe even with a Milwaukee-style school choice pilot program extended nationwide, would just be icing on the cake.
This is the funniest skit I've seen Mr. Colbert do since he left the "Colbert Report." And I feel he does an impressive job of channeling Stanley Tucci's Caesar Flickerman character; Mr. Colbert really is a professional when it comes to playing a part.
+UA-camUsers Suck Sanders is from District Pizza, Hillary's from district Wind, Christie's from District Obligatory New Jersey Joke, Huckabee's from District Stupidity, Kasich's from District... um... are we known for *anything*? Anyways, Bush is from District Yee-Haw, Paul's from District Foot-in-mouth, Fiorna's from District Ink, Graham is from District Eye Roll, and Cruz is from district Maple Syrup. That's all I've got.
+Michael P. Shipley : The US GOP realized what Walker is in less than 2 months. Walker's approval rating in WI with registered GOP voters was at 39% a couple of weeks ago. At least it's going down from what it used to be, but why are WI's GOPers soooooooooo DUMB? Too much beer and cheese?
Were there really 22/23 candidates at the beginning of the 2015/2016 run up to the debates ?! Holy shit, it is like a classroom full of like kids; they all want a shot of answering the teachers' question lol.
I've been rooting for a Scott Walker presidency since early 2011. All other politicians talk a big game and might do a little bit of it if they get elected. Walker isn't flashy, and he doesn't have the grandest policy proposals, but here in Wisconsin he did what he said he was going to do, and that counts for a lot. I sincerely hope he runs again in the future.
The fact that Colbert kind of looks like Stanley Tucci in the first place really takes this bit to the next level.
TLL
Young Colbert circa the "time of Clinton, and the dark days of dial up internet" looked straight up like young Robert Downey Jr. from that time except sober and with his trademark elf ear.
+DoctorWeeTodd you're right, i've always thought he looked like robert downey jr too!
+JJ Keller Yes and those eyebrows make him look like the dad from American Pie haha!!
+JJ Keller You stole this comment from me. I was going to post the exact same thing lol.
I love Stephen. He is better than any other late night host. He is the best. This had me in tears
It's recurring. My life is complete :,)
+SLYWalker district cheese...
+Liberate Wisconsin First looks even the Kochs find Trump bad for business
I'm so glad he kept on doing Hungry for Power Games
+HystErik I hope he does keep doing this, but only if he can do it bigger every time. It will get tired if he just keeps doing it the same way everytime. I think Stephen can pull that off though.
+Bos La Moss I think a lot of whether or not it will get old will have to do with the timing of when candidates drop out.
+Bos La Moss The final one will be as extravagant as the actual elites in the films.
I LOVE Stephen, but who else misses "Better know a district?"
I wish I could watch it again.
I really want him to finish it, there's so many districts to know!
+Alexander Smith Bill Maher still does Flip a district i think.
THE FIGHTIN' NTH
+Alexander Smith I think Colbert is easing his way into late night. This is just trying to see what works & doesn't with a new audience. Soon... soon.. they will all be turned!
+Alexander Smith
We all do man. We all do.
This is not only recurring, but progressing in production value, I see.
Yes, they even got a curvy straw. Those things are worth a fortune.
+ginny7000 next time the hair will be perfect.
"As one brave leming said, 'The cliff's this way, come on, let's go!"
his stanley tucci impression is good lol
It turns out that Walker's imaginary friend was the only supporter he had. How tragic.
+Steve27775 His imaginary friend switched parties.

DrCruel Nobody cares who you vote for. Hasn't that ever sunk in? Or do you think you're "special"??
Ray Rothermel You have to admit. For someone who cares more about education than the public school unions, Scott Walker is a great candidate.
"God is calling on him to lead by getting out of the way."
😂😂😂
DISTRICT CHEESE I COULDN'T BREATHE
I lost it when he said his pubic hair was blue
This is the funniest skit I've seen Mr. Colbert do since he left the "Colbert Report."
And I feel he does an impressive job of channeling Stanley Tucci's Caesar Flickerman character; Mr. Colbert really is a professional when it comes to playing a part.
Thank GOD for telling Scott to quit. I think I'm a believer again!
+Will Smith : The only "God" that talks to Walker is the Big Fella Downstairs.
+Will Smith psyche!
+Notecrusher bring that shit back
+Agent Fungus His penis?
+Agent Fungus Oh wait, you said big.
This needs to continue
I need more candidates to drop out as soon as possible for there to be another "Hungry for Power Games" segment!

are we known for *anything*?
Anyways, Bush is from District Yee-Haw, Paul's from District Foot-in-mouth, Fiorna's from District Ink, Graham is from District Eye Roll, and Cruz is from district Maple Syrup. That's all I've got.
+OhioGentleman I don't know why, but "District Maple Syrup" made me spit out my tea! Thanks!

Love it 😅
Jesus look at Walker's bald spot. I thought it was a crop circle for a second.
+GMenAllDay521
Covers up the 666
+GMenAllDay521 Well, he is an alien in an ill-fitting Earthling suit. And instead of jaws the designer heard jowls.
Ha Ha nice to see Colbert bring back the Phil Ken Sebben laugh.
HA HA HA, cookies on dowels!
I can never see Stanley Tucci again in The Hunger Games without thinking of Stephen's briliant impression.
Loved it!!! keep it up Colbert!
The electorate told Walker to take a hike.
I love this skit! He nailed it perfectly. I hope he continues to do these as more and more drop out. Hilarious!!
Oh my gosh, the Stanley Tucci impression made this the BEST VIDEO EVER!!!!
I actually really love that rose jacket?
+Ashley Dillon Right??

+Ashley Dillon lol looks hideous on a dude but i'm sure a female can pull it off. you gals have no limit when it comes to fashion.
He looks like Eugene Levy dressed up as little Richard, impersonating Liberace.

The person who titled this video deserves a prize. It's genius!
Watching this in March 2016 really goes to show how far this segment has come!
This is Gold! Glad they kept the bit.
Please bring back the hungry for power games.
That ending... was awesome!
This is one of Stephan's funniest bits I have ever seen!! I could't stop laughing!
From the tiny still shot of this video I thought it WAS Stanley Tucci sitting behind the desk. Never noticed how similar they look before.

"May the margin of error be ever in your favor" I'm going to start saying that all the time now
I fucking lost it when they projected Scott Walker on the ceiling. LOL Way to go Stephen, this just made my day. :-)
I love his Caeser Flickerman impression!
Oh please, can this be a recurring sketch for every future fallen candidate?
i love stephen!!!
This segment was literally the first thing that I wished would happen as soon as I'd found out that Scott Walker quit the race
I hope he does this for every candidate that drops out
This just made my day. :D Thanks Stephen Colbert

This is so eerily perfect
Were there really 22/23 candidates at the beginning of the 2015/2016 run up to the debates ?! Holy shit, it is like a classroom full of like kids; they all want a shot of answering the teachers' question lol.
+Dmitriy Kalik - More like the Clown Car in a parade. ... seriously!
Stephen Colbert is awesome Hahahaha
Love Stanley Tucci. Love Colber's impression of him.
Amazing.
This is the funniest! I watched specifically for these series of sketches.
After seeing Mockingly Part 2, watching this was just perfect.
"Ha ha ha yesss i love it"
I lose it everytime he says that haha

I lost it at "District Cheese" on the ceiling. Well done!
I love this bit!
I forgot how much I miss Phil Ken Sebben until I saw this clip.
Oh my, i didn't know flickerman had a twin. Who knew.
Or this was his ancestor
This is too good!
Scott Walker's right eye is higher than his left eye.
How could someone dislike this :/
