I have MW19 running on XSX in HDR/Dolby Vision on a 65" OLED and it's insane how much better it looks, runs and feels compared to this campaign on a new generation of hardware and a title in the franchise that's 4 yrs newer.
Absolutely criminal it is, scandalous.
MWIII's soulless DMZ Campaign levels feel terrible in comparison to the tightly woven story and engine of MW19.

I was on MW19 Multiplayer yesterday whilst that 173gb update for MWIII patch for COD HQ took place, now that I have accessed MWIII multiplayer early using the NZ trick, MW19 Multiplayer still looks and feels far better than MWIII's multiplayer - it's not really improved from the Beta, maybe the weapon models a little but that's it.
It's so strange having all the MWII guns and parts available from the off, been playing COD since 2003 and it's normally launch day and no guns or parts unlocked but today all the MWIII guns are like that but all the MWII guns are kitted out if you want to use them, so weird after 20yrs of it being a different system.

I’ve always loved the cod campaigns. Their multiplayer is questionable but their campaigns will always be great. They never disappoint me. They could make a lot of money with just campaigns instead and multiplayer is separate.

id hardly call this story line grittier then the first one. the first trilogy was insane. almost all of the main lads die. we witness and run away from a literal nuke. no russian. this campaign gives me the vibes that it wants players to feel more attached to the soldiers. and i mean it makes sense because you then go on to use those soldiers in warzone and mp. it also makes you want to buy skins for your favourite soldiers.

One thing I noticed between 2019 and mwii campaign is that you can't shoot out light bulbs when wearing nods which kinda sucks

Mw,mw2,mw3 they have the same story has the old games but they are more detailed with the enemies and other leaders ,and newer mw3 might show more story before mw2 2009

Shadow company conducts the missile strike in the beginning of mw2
Is there a bug in the campaign when you try to close the silo so the rocket will blow up in the silo? Every time I try to close the silo I keep on picking up a fifteenth weapon
It doesn't allow me to press to close the silo.I am using a pc.
But we learned that graves survived in the MWIII reveal event mission in MWII.
Already completed modern warfare one and I have the second one spoiled by people

It isn’t the whole story though, there’s loads of stuff in the multiplayer lore you’ve missed out that someone playing MW3 won’t know if they didn’t play multiplayer

While the gameplay of MWIII is best described as a “low tier Far Cry”…
The story actually moved compared to MWII.
So I’m happier with MWIII than MWII.
And I hope MW4 ends the reboot.

Yes ps plus subscription is only needed for online gameplay. Some games such as fortnite can be played online without ps plus.

I don't know if that's an us servers issue, but I'm not getting any chat bots here in LATAM servers, so I can't confirm you they got rid, since I've never got any
it might just be NA servers, and they might have toned it down, but when they implemented it pretty much everyone got a warning off the bat, then got a 2 week mute if not more. There were no ranked play lobbies with full coms, quickplay had about 75% muted consistently and shipment and groundwar were almost always full mutes/silent. it made me quit. my ps5 year sub expired a few days ago, i bought maybe $200 in skin packs because its addictive , half of which death effects didnt work in ranked for no reason, so paying $150 for mw3 + ps sub just to get muted by a chatbot and tempted by more micro transitions every day is pretty steep@@lunafullmoon6345

Longtime fans hate the new “reboot” campaigns. They reused old character names to get hype from longtime fans but got new voice actors and look of the characters along with totally new stories. It’s a joke

@@smokinsantos2624 yeah “reboot” is a hilarious phrase for “we’re using old character names but changing the way they look, getting totally new voice actors, and these new characters have no connection to the storyline of the real characters they’re named after”. I’d say I speak for most longtime fans as I’ve been playing cod since the first one. People nowadays don’t realize how much of a changeup CoD4 was. It took OG fans a bit to adjust to the new direction they took

The new mw games from 2019, 2022 and 2023 are on a completely separate timeline from the original trilogy and aren’t connected to the events of those games.

Not to worry, this campaign will not hold any punches, I have seen a bit off it and yeah, we all need to prepare ourselves to what's coming, having said that, I still enjoyed the cod mw2 campaign

@@tdawgsmitty I've only played the first 2 missions and not enjoyed it so far. The Campaign is essentially running on 2 engines - Mission 1 Gulag is the normal campaign style engine and Mission 2 is using the DMZ engine with totally different feel and movement speed and graphics and textures are worse, it's very odd. You can see it also in how you can't hold left D pad to inspect weapon in the story engine but you can in the DMZ engine, certainly feels like a game made by multiple dev teams.
The 120fps framerate on XSX is all over the place also, when MW19 runs like a dream and looks better than this and it's from a previous console gen and 4yrs old ... that's actually criminal.
