Eh, I just didn't see much point since I was planning on going down the path anyway. :) There *is* a bit later in the ep where I do deliberately use a second character to retry an out-of-dialogue lore check, though.
Tbh it is a bit of nonsense, that other characters could try it after you but you cannot, it should work similar to lockpicking but without need of a tool, simply try again if other companions could do that, from DM perspective it is not valid implementation :)
29:24 Oh man I really am enjoying your speculations and would be thrilled for this lp to go through the whole game even if only just to see how you react to plot developments.
51:57 That's actually exactly what happened in my game, though I came in through the boarded up entrance above the glyph, somehow I aggro'd all the Kobolds on the floor below and it became a massive 3 way fight as the Gremishkas are also hostile towards them.
Ha, yeah, it does really feel like they deliberately stacked three groups of hostiles right on top of each other. That would certainly explain why they're all in lower threat ranges. :) I'm assuming the eagles are on the roof right above the other two groups.
24:34 "And Lathander always seemed like a pretty standup dude." Yeah, except for the Dawn Cataclysm when he concocted a ritual to to destroy every creature on Toril and reincarnate the realms in his own image. Shar ruined his plans though.🙂
One thing I don't really like about BG3 is the fact that the characters can easily learn nearly all information about enemies by just inspecting them. I wish there would be a lore prock check how it is done in Pathifnder. But maybe a character could do it willingly during the combat. There are some really cool and unique enemies with interesting mechanics, Gremishka would be one such. The Forge Guardian also. But instead of getting clues from the world the players can just inspect them and learn their abilities.
On the low approach in front of the monastery @31:07 your mouse briefly hovered over some roots that look like they would provide access to an even lower area. No clue what, if anything, is there (never noticed it before in my own play-throughs), but it might be worth checking out.
21:51 😂 I haven't seen something so goofy since I saw Red 13 riding Chocobos in FF7 Rebirth. It's ridiculous but I love it.
Little Orrik disappearing into the background of the inventory screen from 16:00 has me giggling.

Ha, my goodness, I was so fixated on doing quick inventory shuffling that I didn't even notice that. That's pretty wild. :D
There is nothing preventing you from trying the crank again with a different character

The relic became unstable so they turned it into a bonking stick. Seems a bit strange of an approach.
Did not hesitate a second to take the offerings at the gods alter, haha
Psh, I don't see Lathander clearing out his own temple! I'm just taking a down payment for services rendered!
@@RetconRaider is that how orrik first met cosmic squid boss?

Well sure, but that was so far back that no one can even seem to agree when or how it even happened. :D

Ooh, good catch, I'll definitely have to go back and check that out.
I mean, my guess would be that it's just a little extra loot, but still. :)
I tend towards going both the ling and the shortway so I don't miss loot or xp, so I both did the wheel and climbed down.
Huh, do you actually get extra XP for riding the lift? I don't think I saw anything pop up when I (accidentally) took it on a round trip.
Will leave a like and comment for the algorithm while I await my replacement headphones and watch then.
I found the narrators outtakes and bloopers yesterday...
makes it really difficult to listen to her with a straight face right now...
I made a playlist. Those videos were too good to forget about.
Amelia Tyler is a gem. I'll be happy to hear her in any game I play no matter how minor the role.
Interesting, are Gith like alcohol or not? 🤔From what i heard about them, they must taboo alcohol in their society. Lucky Kobolds.🥳
