8 years later... This is still not only the best Naruto fan film, it's one of the best choreographed fight scenes ever done. Everything from the physicality to the cinematography is spectacular. Here's hoping you guys continue your My Hero series.
I was sitting in my room watching this and I had to stop and applaud on several occasions. One of the best fan-made videos I have ever seen. Spectacular.

the acting in this is phenomenal, even in 2019. Literally showcasing how sloppy naruto is and how technical rock lee is. It also shows naruto has a ton of heart, no matter how sloppy he is, he doesnt give up.
Also the fact how crafty he is. Everyone was always stronger then him, so he had to always adapt and find smart ways to beat his opponents. As seen in his fight with Neji.
Fan made stuff always seems to be wayyy better than high budget Hollywood stuff. I think the main reason is that the fans actually care about the source material.
***** so true I agree I don't see why don't movie producers work with these people it would be cost effective since they are not some bigshot in the movie industry and they know what the fans want to see and the finish result won't make us want to kill ourselves or cut our eyes out

Dude im getting chills watching this, i cant believe it was made in 2012, The way Lee fought after drinking the sake was totally different and it really shows how much the actors care about their part. This is amazing, I'm pretty sure they had a low budget and still made a better live action show than Netflix did.
Just as fantastic as it was in2012 and even better now that I’m into all my Naruto manga/box sets/and videos during this pandemic.Whats amazing is that my younger siblings and nieces and nephews in the 8-13 age group that had never seen Naruto are now just crazy about everything over again! Even my nieces are all in love Sasuke and kakashi-

i remember watching fanmades like this when i was a little, and i thought it was awful just because the actors didn't have the exact same face as the original characters..but after learning about film making, and rewatching videos like this, it just makes me filled with excitement and respect. I absolutely love how at the beginning Rock Lee is contemplating and talking about his own training and how he is not as strong as Naruto though he used to outclass him as a kid. I wish the manga wouldve explored this. They practically pulled what DBZ did with all the Human characters and took all these badasses and through them in the background while the Main heroes shined. Incredible video though.

Wow 9 years later and this movie is still amazing!!!!! The graphics on point. Everything about this short film screams quality and it’s so entertaining. Surprised we still haven’t gotten a Naruto movie like this from Hollywood. If fans can do something like this I expect way more from Hollywood

Is the fight choreographer, James Young, is the same person who did the choreography for Captain America movies? I was just rewatching this after your Hero Academia video and once again amazed at how well this is being done, especially the Taijutsu. Hope you'll soon make another great video!

This is my favourite Video on UA-cam. 🙃 I already watched the video when i was very young (8 years). But I didn't know Naruto then and still I thought the video was kind of cool. When I finished watching Naruto, the video meant something to me and I realized what an effort this video was going to make. Everything you need is there: memories, highlights, happiness, sadness, life lessons and then the good soundtracks that tell you enough more than 1000 words. 😔And of course the sounds of the fight and how it was all just done well. 👍🏼 And omggg the end, I am crying 😭😭 You deserve it.💓💪🏼👍🏼

This is the best real live action video I've ever seen. The camera angles, the costumes, the fight choreography are fitting together perfectly.! It looks - no, it feels like the Anime. I could never imagine a real life anime movie until I saw your video few years ago. You are very talented and I hope for you that this will be recognized by some important filmmakers You are born to make films. I really hope for you that you will accomplish it to leave youtube behind you and start some bigger projects like a complete anime film adaption or something (hopefully Naruto).
almost ten years and a new youtube account later, I still find myself drawn back to this beautiful fan project. I love what they did with this. It has withstood the test of time. I have watched it at least twice a year for ten years. and I will keep doing so for as long as I am able.

Ever seen the big fat jutsu technique with big guys in real fights? They give you a free shot to their stomach, somehow disappear and reappear behind you, then simply bear hug you from behind with legs crossed upon your waist. Battle of attrition they call it. While the guy who bear hugs you gets all cocky wavering his head like a mad man like he's earned himself a World War II Metal.
Jay N Jutsu is translated to technique. Thus a punch is a jutsu. Why the heck you think they call Lee's martial art tai-jutsu(translates as body technique). ninjutsu are ninja technique.
This was amazingly done! The acting was great. The fight choreography blew me away! I loved the gradual escalation, the gates release, the piles of clones, drunk-fu, powers, and topping it off with that last... You did a fantastic job with this years ago. I'd love to see more IC Naruto vs fights like this. Time for me to check out your channel...
@@chfubb I don't really think so. Just need the right people on the job, devotion, and maybe just don't make a live action movie. Live action tv series like HBO ones might work better since you have a full season rather than a 2hr movie.

I already watched the video when i was very young (8 years). But I didn't know Naruto then and still I thought the video was kind of cool. When I finished watching Naruto, the video meant something to me and I realized what an effort this video was going to make. Everything you need is there:
memories, highlights, happiness, sadness, life lessons and then the good soundtracks that tell you enough more than 1000 words. 😔And of course the sounds of the fight and how it was all just done well. 👍🏼

This is the best real live action video I've ever seen. The camera angles, the costumes, the fight choreography are fitting together perfectly.! It looks - no, it feels like the Anime. I could never imagine a real life anime movie until I saw your video few years ago. You are very talented and I hope for you that this will be recognized by some important filmmakers You are born to make films. I really hope for you that you will accomplish it to leave youtube behind you and start some bigger projects like a complete anime film adaption or something (hopefully Naruto).
almost ten years and a new youtube account later, I still find myself drawn back to this beautiful fan project. I love what they did with this. It has withstood the test of time. I have watched it at least twice a year for ten years. and I will keep doing so for as long as I am able.
If they made a live action movie like this i wouldnt mind that some special effects look fake but i am getting the almost real naruto feelings from this

This was amazingly done! The acting was great. The fight choreography blew me away! I loved the gradual escalation, the gates release, the piles of clones, drunk-fu, powers, and topping it off with that last... You did a fantastic job with this years ago. I'd love to see more IC Naruto vs fights like this. Time for me to check out your channel...

@@chfubb I don't really think so. Just need the right people on the job, devotion, and maybe just don't make a live action movie. Live action tv series like HBO ones might work better since you have a full season rather than a 2hr movie.
