The iconic run could have gotten them less points: it could be seen as dancers "not knowing there path" or if dancers can keep dancing to their place it adds more points. So the judges could have been assholes and take points from this ART.

Having watched this from time to time over the last 6 years, I still believe this is by far one of the best Anime Naruto dance acts. The part of Rock Lee as a drunken master is amazing and it also references the movie from Jet Li "Tai Chi Master" specifically the learning scene. I was captivated by the story. I loved the predictable pattern...introduce the good guys, the hero, the attack, introduce the enemy, the war, the hero powers up, and then the final showdown. This was classic Jackie Chan Chinese Opera meets modern dance. It is perfect and I love it !!
