@Superhunan you sound stupid. People always mentioning the SEC like Notre Dame has never beaten an SEC team. I guess Texas AM don't count or South Carolina 2 years doesn't count.
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I lost my best friend back in 2006. We went to several ND games together including the "game of the century" bsck in 1993 vs Florida State. I lost my mom this past June as well which left a huge void in my life. It's tough...hang in there my man. GO IRISH!!!
Sorry you lost your best friend. I lost my best friend of 65 years, two weeks ago. I know the pain you are experiencing at the moment and only time will heal it. Hang in there my friend. It will get better.
By far the best ND football podcast…. The Irish are rolling but please do not get comfortable with the success. USC would love nothing more than to spoil our season, it will be their Super Bowl, so be ready to play.
Sorry to hear your loss. I went to Yankee stadium and was so glad I did even though it was so cold out. Great game for my Irish and I had a great time bonding with my fellow ND fans the whole time. Wow! For all the years I've been going to Yankee stadium I've never seen a crowd that big before and it was at least 80% Irish fans. Just a great night.
I'm so happy for Rocco Spindler he put in the Effort, Time and Ethic, now he is playing awesome. Bryce Young is a Manimal. What's awesome is we are so deep, but how deeply talented and young we are....
I’ve been cautiously optimistic about this team all year and I’m still cautious about this week SC has enough talent to muck this up enough to keep it interesting. That being said if ND puts together 4 quarters of solid ball they’ll do to SC what they’ve done to everyone since NIU. This team has the talent to go deep but they have to play smart fundamentally sound football. The offense still worries me against fast defensive teams but the defense is elite enough to keep them in most games.
Im big enuogh to admit when I was "potentially wrong"... FINALLY Riley looked like a competent complete quarterback in our 11th game! Hope he can hold onto this- take it to Los Angeles and destroy the Lincoln Logs... then take it to the SEC in chilly breezy South Bend!
The way J-Price on his 2nd TD broke the tackle and then shook the next defender all the way down to his ankles. Also Aneyas Williams is gonna be a problem too, plus we've already seen Kedron Young a bit and his potential this year. We are set at RB for at least the next 3-4 years....
Can we try Eric Goins on field goals? We should try ANYTHING at this point with that FG unit. Everything else looks great but that FG unit is atrocious! RECRUIT a top kicker for next season!
I watched USC versus UCLA and I have to say I wasn't very impressed by USC's receivers. Also, I couldn't believe there were more PI calls during the game. It seemed like the DBs were tugging at the receivers' jerseys on every pass. Still concerned about going out to USC, but maybe a little bit less. Go Irish!
As far as field goal kicking is concerned maybe it's time to conduct tryouts. Maybe there is a student on campus who could do a better job than Jeter. It's a long shot but you never know.
I know this is nit picky...but FIND a KICKER somewhere. That field goal unit is going cost us somewhere down the line. We can't blow everybody out like that in the playoffs and we're going to have a game where it comes down to a field goal
As a lifelong Irish fan, how many times have we been down this road before. There are at least all the teams in the top 10 as well as Georgia and Alabama that ND can't beat. Great record but strength of schedule is very weak. It's been a fun year but it won't last beyond the first round.
I'm being really serious right now with this statement. If Alabama gets into the playoffs somehow, which is Still Mathematically Possible, I Do Not...•••REPEAT•••I DO NOT WANNA PLAY THEM IN THE 1ST OR 2ND ROUND. They are still so deeply talented and they are always self motivated and it would just be a laundry list for them to get motivated. Potential 3 loss National Champion, Doubters, Doubters, Doubters, Haters, Haters, Haters, They can only win with Saban Narrative, 1st year Head Coach etc.......yadda yadda yadda......Do I think we can beat them ? ABSOLUTELY !!! I just don't want us getting into 2 DOGFIGHTS in the first 2 rounds.
Lets play a team that is of significance before we get ahead of ourselves. Army is one of the best statistical teams in the country but we dismiss them because they haven't played anyone and it was clearly exposed 2 days ago. What if we were the "Army" of that game? Meaning we destroy teams of little to no CFP significance but then we play a team of significance and get destroyed. I'm 100% for the irish, don't get me wrong but there is a reason why college football world calls ND one of the most delusional fan bases in the country.
I think the talent this year and the pure dominance a top team should have is showing its footing and everyone is ignoring it because of old stories. This is a different team, a final 4 team in my opinion.
@Necile2 I get it but how do we know we're in Georgia's and Oregons and Tennessees and Ohio states weight class? What do we have to fall back on to validate that?
That's the Riley Leonard I've wanted to see sll season and pure dominance on both sides of the ball. Plus one of the best uniforms I've ever seen!
wish they all wore black/blue shoes/socks/long sleeves- they would have looked vicious!
I want a home game against a southern team on a bitterly cold December day.
Me too
Not bitterly cold. Just cold is fine. We want our fans active, not frozen.
Florida ND fan was on campus for Virginia game PLENTY COLD! Claimed 50 but windchill had to be 42. Brrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!
You will need all the help you can get vs any SEC team you face. NDs schedule is a joke. Not as funny as Army’s, but a joke nonetheless.

Ok, I'm a believer. This is a complete team that can match up with anybody.
Thanks for always running such a great show. You keep it simple, to the point, and honest. Love your breakdowns each week! ☘️
Sorry for your loss brother

Adon Shuler had an awesome game as well. He was living in the Army backfield all night
So sorry about your friend...🙏☘️
Great Cast as always dude, and my most heartfelt condolences. ❤
Great show as always Tyler. My prayers go out to you and the family of your friend.
Sorry for your loss bro.
You did call the block punt I will give you that! Thanks for the update as always brother how I start the work day every day. Go Irish

This week we will need the speed of Sneed
Shut down Branch and they have nothing
ND outscored opponents 399-92. Of those 92 points, how many occurred in the last two minutes?
20. 27 if you count the Louisville TD with 5 mins left
At least 3 of those TDs were scored on the backups
@@justinzumbrun7299 I was hoping someone would have the wherewithal to find that info. Thanks!
great point! Impressive

MiamiFla on achilly DEC. afternoon.Ca'nt wait until next years season opener.
One game at a time
HERE COME THE IRISH
WE HAVE INVITED THE FORWARD PASS BABY!!!!!!!!!!!
Can we try Eric Goins on field goals? We should try ANYTHING at this point with that FG unit. Everything else looks great but that FG unit is atrocious! RECRUIT a top kicker for next season!
Not getting sucked in until they beat someone good
Why should we kick field goals when we can score TDs.....problem solved
Death puts everything in perspective!
Go Irish
sorry bout your friend dude

Maybe the reason no one is stressed in this historic’ streak is because it’s the easiest schedule in a lifetime
As far as field goal kicking is concerned maybe it's time to conduct tryouts. Maybe there is a student on campus who could do a better job than Jeter. It's a long shot but you never know.
OSU also barely beat NEBRASKA
I am very worried about the SC game coming up I been a ND fan for yrs and I know how SC can ruin NDs season
Buckeyes fan but a fan of football too ND is picking up steam and on another note the Sec is overrated two most hottest teams is my Bucks & ND!!!
It would awesome to meet each other for the chip.
Would love to have a chance to redeem the loss to OSU in the Championship this year.

Why can't ND beat those teams? You seem to think that Brian "Can't Win the Big One" Kelly is still coaching.

They won their 10th game not 9th. Embarrassing
9th in a row. Understandable.
I’ll believe ND is for real when they play a decent team
They played on in Week One.
@ a 3 loss A&M team who has some terrible losses to South Carolina and Auburn?
@@aaronclaytor4705 As opposed to a three-loss Alabama team with terrible losses to Vanderbilt and Oklahoma?
@@Necile2 oh I absolutely agree with you there, ND is definitely ahead of bama. Theres just no proof they can play with the big dogs. Yet..
@@aaronclaytor4705 And there is no proof that they can't. Games from the past don't carry over to this year.

Roll Irish 💪
I don’t trust Hinish vs legitimate OLs, he’s too small.
Scrappy-Violent- a HUGE heart. Donnie will not be denied. Anyway, Cross should be back against USC- right?
@ fuck that, give me talent & size
We played Army- WTF MAN? Cmon Tyler!
Irrelevant… beat SC!!!!!!

Notre Dame v Oregon or Ohio State? 🤔
@opaulamorgan4265 I wouldn't mind playing Oregon. Ohio state might be tough.
I think the talent this year and the pure dominance a top team should have is showing its footing and everyone is ignoring it because of old stories. This is a different team, a final 4 team in my opinion.
Like Tyler said, Army wasn't in ND's weight class. ND *is* in all other teams' weight class.
@Necile2 I get it but how do we know we're in Georgia's and Oregons and Tennessees and Ohio states weight class? What do we have to fall back on to validate that?
Love is winning the Heisman next year if hes healthy all year. Hes already that good, we just haven't given him the touches.
