I was at this game, those pick 6’s were unbelievable ☘️
I was too. Great game!!!
The game was held at USC, which is in the southern part of California.
@@GoIr1sh😂😂
Me to at the Colosseum
I was screaming at the tv!!!
I love on the hundred yard touchdown return he’s glancing at the USC bench as he runs past them
I noticed that as well lol... My family and I were laughing when he did that 😆
I would have done the same thing. Lol
Maybe even waved.
100 yards is 300 feet.
I think he was checking his blindside in case a USC player was behind him. Notice that he looks left, right, left, right. Just ensuring nobody is there to tackle/strip him. IMO
No kidding man I noticed that on the replay. Absolutely amazing back to back pick 6s. Never seen that ever, and both on long distance returns. Incredible.
Notre Dame and USC should still play every year it's a classic rivalry
They play every year and have since 1926.
they play every year but the thing that makes it confusing is its only the last game when its USC at home. When its Notre Dame at home they play in like week 5 or 6. Notre Dame does opposite with Stanford. This is so that Notre Dame always ends the year with a road game in Cali instead of a home game in cold Indiana and also gives ND yearly exposure to California recruits.
@tomdemay6147 it's cold here right now it's only 17 degrees outside
USC doesn't want to play in snow either lol
Notre Dame and USC have played every year since 1926.
THE IRISH FINISH 11-1 💯! AWESOME
The record 11-1 means they have won 11 games and lost 1.
USC is just terrible, most college football teams would beat USC.
@@GoIr1sh no way! I was wondering what the 1 meant. Thanks professor!
😅😂
@@adambaum9732this was the first game all season usc didnt lead in the 4th quarter
Give Marcus Freeman credit they could of quit after the niu loss but he has did a helluva job with this team
BIG time credit 👍
Yes I am proud, usually after a big loss our season goes down hill
I give him a lot of credit. Good job beating up nobody's. What top 15 temas they play? Oh, none, that's right.

Thank you to USC for giving ND the game they needed. They needed to be challenged and pushed and they answered the challenge. Onward IRISH !!
We suck. I wouldn’t get too excited. We couldn’t even beat Maryland.
@DPMixing…keep your chin up, you almost beat Michigan. Did you expect them to run roughshod all over the big 20 like Oregon?
@@DPMixing Agreed. Riley is a fraud. Mike Bohn screwed us fans by hiring this clown and his crap coaching staff. We will be mediocre as long as LR is at the helm. ND beat a crap USC team today.

I am a Michigan fan , my pick to win the national championship at the beginning of the year was Notre Dame. I still standing behind that. They run the ball, play good defense and are well coached.
respect, i hope we can do it. I picked Michigan early last year even though it tore me up to do it. Still even though we are rivals I had to get some joy out of watching you guys bully Bama and bring the title back to the midwest and prove it's not just these southern teams that can win.
Despite being rivals i became a fan of Michigan because I live in columbus and OSU fans are insufferable. Have loved watching Michigan beat the buckeyes 4 years in a row.
Same here can't stand Ohio State and Ryan Day even more.
@@stephenbeattie8342 Thank you for the classy comment. As a Notre Dame fan, last season I was glad when Michigan knocked Alabama out 👍
Indeed, ND pounds the rock, they play great D and they don't beat themselves. Gotta solve the kicking woes. Knock on 🪵
Irish fan here.
Respect to all these kids who play as hard as they do.
On any given Sunday or should I say Saturday?
Props to USC for playing with passion and hearts and not quitting. Let's Go Fighting Irish!☘☘☘
USC never quit miss-tackling with heart and passion and guts and nuts!
Nope! No credit for being soft as baby 💩 on defense. An entire year to learn to tackle and they still can’t? That is pathetic and why they keep losing recruits, USC coaches CANNOT teach these bums to tackle and they don’t develop. The defensive players graduate as good as they were their freshman year.
I said this when it happened, but the loss to NIU was a wake up call. I'm glad Notre Dame handled business the rest of the season.☘️
Me too. Army and A&M are powerhouses!!!
@@JJBJR85 Both were ranked, fail troll.
@@JJBJR85 Jeff why don't you get back inside your trailer and take your meds. Your mom opps your wife is calling you to pluck a chicken for dinner!
This was an impressive win - USC was close in every game they played this year. Hats off to the backups that played for ND today - this will be a good learning experience.
As a long time ND fan, I gotta say that CBS has a phenomenal product. So much better than NBC. From the booth, to the highlight package. It’s just better. Well done!
Brad Nessler is a HOF caliber announcer. He shits on what NBC offers besides Turrico who sadly, doesn't call college games anymore.
@@dis6900100% agree man. I know Gary and Brad made some mistakes on pronouncing names but they did a good job portraying the magnitude of this game.
How incredible this turnaround is that after that 1-1 start where many people were counting the Irish out, but they proved everyone wrong.
I haven't watched a NFL game in 5 years.Or more and today was the first time I sat and watched any football game and what a game it was!👌👍👍
Back-to-back 100 yard INT return for TD 🤯
It is simply amazing how many fans are packed into the stadium! Awesome football clubs really brings 'em in. I'm 75 and still a huge fan of the game!
Love the ND win. The SC fans are among the best in the country, very accommodating and polite. I have been to 12 games there and been treated warmly and with respect. I know from watching they will be much improved next year. Greatest series.
Hey Bill do you think ND will be much improved too or do you think SC will be so much improved that ND won't have a chance? Who side are you really on?
@ I think ND is now primed and has a good run ahead. USC has underperformed this year. They should be a 9 win squad. They should win 10-11 next year m. But the portal is changing everything. Illinois and Indiana won’t be the only wild cards next year. The whole system has been turned upside down.
USC sucks and their fans were mostly high or drunk.
As a follower of Notre Dame i tip my hat off of USC they put up one heck of a fight they almost could have shock the football nation again.
We almost could have seen a Pete Carroll reincarnation.
Jeremiah Love is a future 1st round pick
Absolutely
Idk about 1st round but I think he is going to be a star. I hope he goes to a good team
Maybe. I say that because NFL just doesn't care about drafting RBs in the 1st round anymore. Kyren Williams' success does not help any RB's draft status.
The dude is like a Walter Payton.. if he stays healthy, he will be a top 12 pick.
Man, USCs QB was throwing some amazing balls with defenders all in his face. People say ND didnt pressure him, I disagree... they did! He just still made some absolute beautiful throws under pressure till the very end.
That NIC loss was a blessing in disguise. Price and Love had a great day. Whole team had a great day. Irish sitting at 11-1 and a guaranteed playoff spot. ☘️☘️☘️
The USC receivers want to taunt after getting first downs while down 2 touchdowns. Like the one play where the USC receiver showed off after getting a first down then the next play ND returned a interception for a 100 yards lol.
LOL right??? i desperately wanted them to show USC number 6's reaction to the first pick six and then to losing. bro was showboating down 2 tds the entire last 5 minutes and got what was coming to him.

I do miss Benjamin Morrison sucks he is missing out on this I wish him luck in his future
I agree. I feel bad for him, such a team player who loves his team but has to sit out on the sideline. From what the coaches and players have said is he is really stepping up to help be a players coach on sideline and to help coach these young DBs and keep the defense in it mentally. Very difficult to do when you are held back from the game you love but he is there for them.
That loss to NIU was a blessing in disguise. This is a dangerous Notre Dame team! Go Irish!!
Yes, but Freeman has at least one of those embarassing losses each year.
@@prrsd4046 He is also a young coach and Brian Kelly is now LSU's problem. I am not complaining.
@@prrsd4046aye i was incredibly critical of him to the point where i was down with him being fired after NIU. but since then he has broken ND records for most wins and ranked wins in a coach’s first 3 seasons, and we’re a lock to host a playoff game. grateful i get to hop back on the hype train, just need him to keep our guys disciplined we’ve had way too many issues on the field with that
Who have they played since Northern Illinois for you to make that logical leap? After Indiana (good possibility they'll be in the playoffs), they have proven less than any playoff team to date.
@@randallmadison9910 they've beaten four ranked teams on their schedule what do you mean "who have they played?" Army, Navy, Louisville and A&M were all ranked opponents....and they also beat Georgia Tech who took Georgia 8 Overtimes to beat...
Great way to end the year for the Irish. I know on paper USC is nothing special but they have talent littered all over their roster, especially the skill positions. They’ve played all of their losses incredibly close.
Caps off a truly remarkable season. I thought this team was absolutely dead in the water after that crushing NIU loss. They have proven a lot of people wrong and have earned a home playoff game. Optimistic for this team. Rally sons of Notre Dame.
As a Notre Dame fan, I am also optimistic for the Irish. One thing that gave me hope going into this game was that this season is the first time in Marcus Freeman's three years that the Irish, aside from the NIU game, have been consistently focused. I've been a ND fan for 35 years and this is the most locked in I've seen the Irish in what seems like many years.
USC has talented players, and some serious offensive firepower. Haters will scoff and say that ND beat a .500 team. Yet, all of USC's losses were close. Plus, I believe that the Trojans had 4Q leads in all of their losses.
@reubenalvear1975….finally found a rational take. Good post
yup we are actually the first team to beat USC by more than a TD
49 points was the most scored by ND in California since 1966. I was alive but I don’t remember that game. I was like a week old lol

Got by the trap game i was worried about! Lets go Irish! This is the first yr of being an irish fan in over 3 decades that i think we legitimately have a shot of winning it all. No dominant team this yr! Alabama, Georgia, ohio st all having off yrs. Oregon amd texas r the two teams to beat but dont look like they're unbeatable IMO. We got a winning formula! Great running game, great defense amd a QB that limits turnovers!
yup this is a dominant team. If we still had Morrison and Traore healthy I honestly think we would be the favorites. That said we are definitely a LEGIT contender. LETS GO IRISH
@tomdemay6147 this is the first yr in a long time where I don't see a clear cut best team in the country where someone looks unbeatable. I've seen every team play several times and I can't there's a team out there we can't hang with or beat if we play our brand of football. Our rushing attack is incredible! Two great RBS and a great rushing QB! Plus, he's been throwing the ball well lately
True
These are the kind of highlights we need. 11 minutes of solid highlights and not 11 minutes of 6 plays repeated from 6 different angles
Another great win for the Irish!
I wouldn't say that was easy.. we were getting cooked in the secondary all night and we were blitzing all night without a single sack.
It was not easy

Dang Lincoln Riley found a way to lose again, shesh
How tf do you throw back to back 100 yard pick 6s?! smh
Look we know what our Defense can do when we are clicking, this game was obviously a bad Defensive Game for us, but our Offense was the Hot Topic of this game. Damn our Back Up RB rushed for 111 yards and TD, plus he busted out big plays like nothing. We Rushed for 250+ as a Team. The Big Thing was Riley Leonard looked comfortable Running this Offense. When we needed a score we went and got it. RLs confidence level is through the roof. Our WRs was running excellent routes and their hands came along to play as well. I feel very very confident we are gonna make some big noise in the CFPs. Let's Go Baby 11-1 !!!! #GoIRISH #NATTYorBUST
I hear ya, jewel. The defense has been there all dang year. Al Golden has been awesome. I would have loved for ND's defense to dominate the USC offense. Yet, there will be days like this where the defense doesn't appear to have their 'A' game. I will tip my hat to USC because they dialed up some clever plays, and the Trojans appear to have talented offensive skill position players.
Great point you bring up about the ND offense. Early in this game I believed that if ND didn't turn the ball over USC wouldn't be able to stop them. It was just a vibe I was getting. Today the ND offense had the defense's back. As the play-by-play guys said, the Notre Dame offense kept "holding serve."
I agree with you that R. Leonard appeared comfortable running the offense. Credit to him as he appears to have improved throughout the season.
i dunno, the offense needed to string together a couple of long drives in the late 4th quarter and couldn't do anything. Got saved by those pick-sixes. There were a lot of good things but I wouldn't say offensive mastery was the takeaway.
@Praetoriusify Oh yeah for sure, but for once it was the offense answering the call, yes we need the pick 6s, but I felt like today our offense could of went and got it...
i've been trying to tell people this all year. They say we have a "Bad offense". That is not true. We have a very mediocre passing game, HOWEVER we have an ELITE rushing offense. This is probably the most dangerous rushing offense in the whole country with our trio of Love Price and Leonard. That alone makes us a good offense no matter how mediocre the passing is. So long as Riley can keep completing these easy throws on short yardage when the defense over commits to run then this team offense is fine. Denbrock has made HUGE difference and he is doing terrific job calling the plays as well.
@@Praetoriusify we are ranked 3rd nationally in yards per carry behind Boise and New Mexico. 260 rushing yards yesterday even with Love missing the end of the game. This offense is doing a great job. Offense scored 35 points yesterday.
Was it me or did ND look as a team 20% beefier than SC?
Good game, we fought but came up short! 💪🏼 #GoTrojans
Go Irish!
That hurdle was clean asf
The interception while running and looking at the usc bench I’d legendary
Great game to both teams. As a life long Notre dame fan, I knew SC would bring it and not go down easy. I was confident that ND would pull it out, 14 point win is decent but this game gave me a little bit of doubt. If it was a 21-7 win, id be stoaked. Winning in a shootout (even by 14, it wasnt that close) is sketch when its been the defense carrying the team all year. Good job to the offense for taking away the doubt, but this game wasnt what i was hoping for tbh.
Not to be picky... the boys showed out. Shootouts are just historicaly not our shit. I feel confident in this team winning a bar fight, not a track meet😂.
Go Irish! ☘️
Down with USC
Notre Dame won because they scored more points than the other team.
...and the important thing to note is that it doesn't always end up like that...good catch on your part.
8:55 Imagine if Willy from Bad Santa was a USC fan watching this.🤣
Why does Leonard leave his feet often? That needs to be corrected ASAP.
Congrats on a nice win !!! Got to shore up this secondary though as we play teams that can throw the ball
Great season! Now let’s handle business.
Since Ohio St got beat, Notre Dame should be in top 4. Possibly maybe hopefully.
#29 for Notre Dame is absolute dog water. He sold on numerous tackles and gave up 2 TDs. He single-handedly kept USC in the game. I miss Morrison at CB. 😢

10-2, 7-5, 6-6. Can somebody tell me why Lincoln Riley's team gets worse while Dan Lanning (12-0) and Marcus Freeman (11-1) both have their teams in the (12 team) playoffs in the same 3 year span??? 🤔 #FireClownRiley ✌️
I give him 1 more year. Not a ton of good coaching options that would fit there available rn and he is still bringing in high talent. The defense is playing much better and until ND were like 20pts from being undefeated going into yesterday. Good luck to you guys in the future, I want to see the days of powerhouse USC and ND fighting it out again.
Buchner wearing #26 is pretty smart. We have our OLD STARTING QUARTERBACK throwing fake punts for us haha. Safe to say teams won't overlook that from now on.
That's what people said after he threw the fake field goal pass. v0v

I did not see a single clip of a Norte Dame player celebrating themselves. Refreshing.
No one knows strength of schedule three years in advance.
All around great win, boys!! It is a little concerning to me that our defense (which eventually sealed the game for us) that has been lights out all year allowed USC to move the ball at will during most of the game. Especially in those final minutes. Onto the playoffs…GO IRISH!!
GEAUX IRISH!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Two pick sixes made the difference in the final score. Otherwise, it was an even Steven game.
The Irish have had a pretty light schedule running up big scores on weak opponents like Purdue and Army. USC has had a tough but troubled year. I'm glad they gave the Irish a game, and hopefully, the Trojans will be back stronger next year.
I think Army is insulted you said them instead of FSU.
@KyleJonesDrJones Army is usually a doormat. Looks like they had a good run this year, but against a pretty weak schedule. FSU is playing well below the Bobby Bowden standard so they belong in that group of weak opponents. Notre Dame usually gets flak for beating up on the military schools because they add little to no value to their SoS. Notre Dame plays them because of tradition and patriotism.
Why do we have to wait two days for the proper highlights for this cracking game.
Those two pick 6 because SC tried to force it really made it look like ND dominated but it was a close game really. SC showed character all season. Now to see what damage the Irish can do in the playoffs. They are looking good!
Good game. Honestly.
The credit goes to Coach Freeman, he believed after the NIU loss, that this team could make a run, I am a diehard ND fan, was at that game, to think that ND is going to the playoffs, UNREAL, GO IRISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still not used to seeing USC as a Big10 school instead of PAC 12.
Idc if you’re losing by a lot but I think they should still try to score just so the loss doesn’t look as bad
Good game
Not disciplined enough at our wr position and not strong enough /out of position on defense against the run along with not keeping good contain, our defense just couldn't stop them and even when we had turnovers the offense didn't do anything with them, hopefully we can keep our ground game going for next season and get better against the run on defense, congrats n.d
Actually I thought the USC receivers were fantastic. This is the first time this year that ND DBs were torched and by far
@gbsk12 they played alright but the celebration after catches and were losing has to calm down, I understand but the lack of discipline and focus has to get reigned in, save that for when we're winning,..
Heartbreaking how USC has fallen to football irrelevancy. Hard to believe they don't have the money to find competent coaches. The whole sports program belongs in the Big West with Fullerton and Long Beach.
Nd to championship no doubt
They have to play a top 12 team and win first.......haven't done that yet.......

Four-star USC wide receiver pledge Jerome Myles has decommitted from the Trojans, he announced on social media Sunday night.
Myles, a 6-foot-3, 220-pound pass catcher from Draper, Utah, is ESPN's No. 6 wide receiver and the No. 33 overall prospect in the 2025 ESPN 300. Committed to USC since September, Myles was the highest-ranked member of the Trojans' 2025 class, which has now seen nine ESPN 300 recruits decommit from the program in the 2025 recruiting cycle.
"After talking with my family and god I've decided to decommit from the University of Southern California please respect my decision," Myles wrote in an Instagram story Sunday night.
