Sweet mama. I watched where you tutored on how to cook party fried rice. I learnt and prepared it in the village during Christmas for my husband's club Anniversary party. One bag of fried rice!! My husband was like, "you can do this pls. We need to change pattern of jollof rice for party. That was my first time in my life cooking a big party food like that, so i was a little bit afraid initially BUT Omo!!! The rice was superb!! Not one spoon remained! Jesus! Thank you so much ma! God bless you for saving me oo. It wasn't easy on that fire wood oo. My legs literally caught fire. It was hot BUT came out so so delicious 😋 and superb
If you eat this soup outside under a tree at 1pm and the weather is nice ,you will forget that we are in confinement, see food 🤩🤩🤩💛💛💛🧡💙🧡sister you deserve more likes ❤❤🧡💙💝💖💕
Nice recipe....I always add waterleaf first tho. It actually needs more time to cook and ugu doesn't need to cook for long hence it looses all it's nutrients
Dear Sisi Yemmie, please keep doing what you're doing. You're my go to channel for all Nigerian food recipes. When I need a recipe and don't type in your name on the search box but the food name instead, I keep scrolling till I find yours. Because your recipes are tested and trusted for me. Your channel has helped me broaden the family menu and each time I learn a new one and try it out, they're all smiles. Thank you so much!😊
Sisi o, you're doing well. Oinn 😉 I served in Akwa-Ibom & was taught water leaf goes in before the ugu, onions are a no-no, and don't forget periwinkles
I am Cameroonian and my hubby too. He really likes Nigerian soups. Have learnt a lot from your channel Yemisi. I have incorporated a few Nigerian dishes to our dishes at home and all a success. Will be trying this out soon. Hope hubby enjoys it. Only downer is we do not have red bell peppers here. It's the green that we have
Who the wet blankets that disliked tbos video??? Sisi yemi love this soup is my favorite soup growing up. And reminding us to like this video is great so you dont forget 🙂
I'm from the Akwa Ibom part of the country, but I must say, you've made this look really easy. Thanks Sisi Yemmie. Will make this for le'boo next weekend. Love from Abuja
Wow....I'm so going to try this,I'm a yoruba girl that loves Igbo soup,I think this is a Calabar soup.but I still love it...sisiyemmie I love all your videos,well-done..
Yemisi your voice is the best and your recipes are top notch. You been a great teacher to me. My husband says my Nigerian dishes are the best. Thank you all Nija chefs
I actually think the water leaves cook longer than the ugu especially because of the ugu, I add waterleaves first, then add the ugu after the water has come out a bit. I learnt this method from Zeelicious btw, we didn't cook this soup much while growing up. Lol.
Edikaikong will be the soup I might struggle with because I have never cooked it before. I reremember eating edikaikong soup like 30 yrs ago when this calabar woman made it with some stock fish and periwinkle back in Ajegunle Lagos. And it was super delicious. Never tasted Afam soup before. So I wouldn't know the one like most.
This looks so good ,but guys if you do not like the video just leave it you may not know who likes the video, when you dislike you discourage sisi from adding similar videos
*Hey Yemisi,* no worries on that! Whenever I select the video, it loads for a few seconds. I take that chance to like the video so I won't forget at the end. *Smiles.* This recipe looks so delicious and I can just taste it now, my taste buds are going crazy and I really don't mind. Thanks for always giving such detailed steps, while you make all the good yumminess for us to savour.

When i don't see water leaf what should use in replacement of water leaf....meanwhile i have to say something if not my spirit will not be at peace with me you're wonderful teaching people like me sometimes i get confused in what to cook you're indeed a wonderful mother & wife and I'm a wife too but i think i have alot to learn God bless

Huuuuu yummy... Ogbono is my no go soup oo bcoz preparing it is a bit of a challenge for me 😍😍😍
Best cooking technique so far. Ugwu before Water leaf because Ugwu takes longer time to soften than waterleaf.
Yemisi your voice is the best and your recipes are top notch. You been a great teacher to me. My husband says my Nigerian dishes are the best. Thank you all Nija chefs
