Even though I can’t do this myself, I now have a good appreciation of what will be done at the shop. Thanks for making this video.
Heck yea, this was a useful video, got mine done without throwing any wrenches!
Solid video with some good pointers. Just ordered my new belt and will give it a shot. Thanks man!
Thank you
Did you forget to tighten the tensioner mount bolt?
Worried me a little with that, but you can see at 6:30 I’m tightening it back up.
Why doesn’t anybody ever cut the old belt to get it out?
Sometimes I do , I like to remove the belt in one piece because it has to be installed the Same way it came out.
I usually keep the old belts to use for something else. Work great for lifting things.
I keep mine to make sure i got the right size belt and measure the old one with the new one
Lmao
My truck did just that for me. Saved me about half an hour of dicking around with the belt
Can't hear too much noise in background
Its difficult to get good audio in an automotive shop unfortunately. I said around 0:38 that im going to go down below and do the same to the lower passenger side fan shroud bolt.
My belt won't Titen what the F
Possibly too large of a belt or incorrect routing.
