I forgot to mention, you would need Double Surge. You can also use this strategy in Normal Mode! You might find it better to stand one diagonal tile NW of the NW Golden tile so when you surge, you are at the SE corner exactly. So surging back requires less repositioning since glyphs covering the center is a less common one. I hope this helps you a lot! I was sick tired of chaotically diving around and thinking "git gud" is only way to deal with it. But in my typical absurdist fashion, I found a way. Never again shall I sign because of that. If you're using Necromancy, you should also still be in range of the boss, I also did not test what it is like in a group so this is a solo guide.
@@charlesdai6611 No it's not the same. Double Surge allows you to be able to use surge twice. This means I surge forward and surge back. Of course alternatively you can always dive back. Surge is one button while Dive is one button and click spot. Whatever works for you :3
It's been very interesting to follow your progression as a content creator Ami. It's so nice to see there's players out there still contributing to the scene, it's a breather haha. Thanks for the guide, as a Mobile player myself I'll try and apply some of these tips and see if the terrible optimization doesn't get me first 😂
Thank you! I hope this helps you in some way on mobile. I cannot imagine doing this boss on mobile! Oh btw, M_with_Z (the one who has been creating the Monthly Content Creator List on reddit) wanted to reach out to you if you are interested in joining a discord server full of RS3 content creators where we help each other grow and improve our content!
Using the NW golden tile is exactly the kind of tip I needed. I always stood on the NE and got killed so often, but will try again with the NW. Great guide!
I had a very rough time doing the boss in nm right after release but got through it after a couple hours with a zillion deaths and tick-eating like crazy. But somehow learnt mechanics and got probably like 1 lucky no food kill when I had zero lag. 99.9% of the time I click on a tile and move 2 seconds later and I'm already dead before I know it. Extremely unfortunate with no servers near me I'll have to rely on luck. Kinda unfair Jagex doesn't have a server anywhere in central Asia. Even Singapore / UAE will do...
Unfortunately, I am someone that does not set autofire for reaver. I manually use it when I need to use it. I went and asked my clan and some suggest 3-4. I am not qualified to say if that's optimal or not for this boss. It really depends how much you need it and how often you upkeep it with prism. If you're able to master this strategy, you shouldn't need to use it often!
I've tried a number of microphones from phone microphone to microphone in a tissue box to headset microphone. All have the same problems, unable to pick up the sound of my voice cause I usually talk very quietly. I always have to forcefully up the volume by 300-500%. But if I up microphone volume too much or try to raise my voice too much, then I get bothered by Saliva sounds and still is quiet. As for what happened with vocal chords, that's another story. I don't really want to spend more money on a new microphone for same results.
@@WingsofAbsurdityI'm not a doctor but I think you could improve the strength of your voice by doing straw exercises (forcing bubbles consistently through the straw, consistency of release being the key) this is something that's used in conjunction with other therapies to help people who naturally have a very quiet voice (unless you're just being quiet as a result of it being a busy household).
Thank you Amelia, this was actually very informative :) You deserve more subscribers and have earned mine :) Just a small suggestion would be to use a more natural voice into your guides maybe? And maybe not an AI voice like this?

Such a good guide man. Btw can you make a magic rotation/dps guide? Since new weapon
Unfortunately I do not know magic. I'm sure someone out there who is more qualified to make a guide on it will do one at one point.
Great video Amilia,
The diving through the soulflare burst tiles can be quite tough so having this way to learn the boss is really cool 👍👍
Many Guides out there in terms of strategy this was definitely the best!
Alot of good information in this vid. I suck and this will make me suck less lol
I hope you can get the kill using this Strategy ^.^

I died so many times at this boss too until I started doing this.
Which arrows should I use on first 2 bosses?
Wen Arrows is your best arrow here.
Black Stone Arrows is an option if you want that extra %.
Deathspore for incendiary or DS.

Hardest boss in the game
Yeah it's pretty hard

How can u 1 cycle scarabs in first phase ? Like I get like 3or 4 sets of scarabs and can’t phase 1 my dps is so low
