I recently bought a 2015 v star 950 with the cobra intake already installed. I see they retail at Dennis Kirk for $248. Whenever I had cars with K & N filters I cleaned them using simple green and a hose. Also I used to let the oil stay in the filter overnight before installing.

Thank you, just what I needed. I had forgotten how to clean my filter and didn’t want to buy another one ( they are not cheap).
