An absolutely outstanding review: well scripted, focused, consistent throughout, and exhibiting top class production values. I'm very impressed... so, subscribed in hope of your 'comeback' to UA-cam with new videos. In any case, thank you for this this one, which succinctly answered my lingering questions as a prospective purchaser.

Excellent video! Thanks for posting it!
A multitool is just that, a set of tools all together to help ourselves if we do not have a standard tool to do the job. Personally I carry a Victorinox and love it as I have learned to accept its limitations due to size

Very good video and test. Some people that use certain brand of pliers type multitool feel like they are the absolute best. I do not agree and this test confirm that. I set all multitools in 2 categories: 1. A folding knife with additional tools or 2. A plier with additional tools. Base on this I set the usefulness and the selection. I have use Victorinox since 1986 and pliers type since 1995. So both are useful and have it place. The plier type no matter if it is Leatherman, Gerber, SOG, Victorinox or any other brand will excel at the plier. But from my experience the Victorinox knife type multitool excel in almost any other tool. For example in a Victorinox knife type I have use both the wood saw an the metal saw and both can really cut the material effectively and are very useful. You can do real work with them. In the case of the pliers type is cumbersome and you can do something to get out of the trouble, but not significant work. In general if you go tool by tool the knife type will have the advantage in most of them.

Since the 91 and 93mm saws are the same what explains the considerable differences between them?

Excellent job, thanks for your time and effort in making the two saw videos, I love the SAK saws the best. Very happy woth my 2008 OHO soldier model and 91mm Ranger. Do you think you will feature the larger Delemont range like the Rangerwood 55? Thanks again

Nope, speaking as someone who owns and uses all of them the time difference is strictly operator error.

+leighrate Thanks for your comment. Could you please be more specific what operator error are you referring to? Or maybe video reference to a user test that has no operator error?
I think any similar kind of testing or experiment, there will always be some human elements/error that may affect the outcome, unless the test is done in a lab with robot arm sawing inorganic substance, with a very large sample size.
I have no affiliation and do not receive any kind of benefit from doing this test or this brands, meanwhile, trying to be as honest and scientific as possible to minimize error while conducting these tests. Personally, I really see no point of doing 2.5 hours(collectively) of hand sawing test, just to rig the result. :)

The surest way to shut down a typical YT Comments critic is to demand: "Show me (or link me to) your evidence". These guys NEVER come back with the goods, Comis Gear. Never.
Thank you so much for your diligent efforts here. This review is exactly what I needed right now as I deliberate an imminent Victorinox buying decision involving the options with saws.
