Ma'am, please make a video on overall how much does it cost from certificate evaluation to tuition fees. I mean the entire fees structure to join the OSPAP course. It will be very helpful for me. Thank you 😊
Thanks for your comment. I would say anyone expecting to do OSPAP needs to have a minimum of £25-30k as it would cover the tuition fees, feeding, accommodation, GPHC adjuducation fees and other documentation fees, IELTS, books, transport, flight ticket, visa fees, etc. This figure also depends on what area of UK you live in as accommodation and cost of living differs in various areas of the UK. I don't have time at the moment to make videos but hope this is helpful.

Hope this helps.
Ma'am, could you make a video about how better is doing ospap and getting registetd as uk pharmacist in comparison to get registeted in other countries like canada, Ireland etc
Thanks for watching. That would have been an interesting video to make but sadly, I only have experiences of working as a pharmacist only in Nigeria and UK. I am not very familiar with the registration processes in the US and Canada but they do sound like good countries. I think the important thing would be exploring how easy it is to get a job after completing the registration processes in all the countries and the ease of obtaining permanent residency and a passport. There are some groups on Facebook that provide advice for registering in the countries you listed and may be great to join to get some advice or make comparisons. Good luck,

Yes, I believe you can. It is best to do these once you complete all the processes- pass OSPAP, complete the pre-reg and pass the final assessment exam.

Hello and I don’t think you need to get an M.Sc for a Tier 2 visa. With regards to OSPAP, if you need to switch from a Student visa (Tier 4) to a PSW or Tier 2 in-country (without leaving the UK), you need to do the OSPAP M.Sc version. Hello, Please let me know which option is better Tier 2 or Graduate Route Visa. Usually, what is the validity of Tier 2 visa for pre-reg pharmacists (How many years people can stay).
They all have their pros and cons. The Graduate visa (post study PSW) is 2 years and does not need sponsorship to get a job but the 2 years do not count towards permanent residency/British Citizenship. The Tier 2 requires sponsorship and is counted towards permanent residency/British citizenship. For the number of years for the initial Tier 2 visa for pre-regs, i think it depends on the sponsor.
Yes, if you meet the right criteria for the work permit visa and other requirements for a job as a pharmacist. For PR, you need to spend a certain amount of time on a work permit or other type of visa (there are several routes) to get a PR as well as meeting the requirements.
@@gopaladhao8929 I already answered above that it all depends on your circumstances and meeting the requirements of both the job as a pharmacist and the work permit that you require. If you are planning to commence your OSPAP in Sep 2022 then you will start your pre-reg in 2023 after you have passed the OSPAP although you should have secured your pre-reg training place in 2022 ideally even before you commence the OSPAP especially if going through the Oriel system. The Oriel system opens for two weeks in June of every year and if you miss it, then you have to wait for the next year or choose your pre-reg in community pharmacy (usually smaller independent ones). And please answer me that we have a 1 year visa for ospap pgdip , and if we got pre reg placement, does this visa will be extended ???please mam answer me i'm confuses 😔
Hello and thanks for watching. The OSPAP PGDip course is indeed 9 months and to apply for pre-reg, it is best to do it before you start OSPAP or during OSPAP. If you do it after OSPAP, it could cause some delays. You can apply once you get your admission to the university or you can do it once you get your approval from GPHC. For the 1 year visa you get for PG Dip which is a student visa, you cannot extend it whilst in the UK. You will need to go back to your home country and apply for a work visa to enable you complete your pre-reg. It is always best to choose the OSPAP M.Sc version if you need a student visa to do the OSPAP course. Good luck.
Yes the individual can. Note that you don’t need to necessarily complete the OSPAP or be a UK pharmacist to work in the pharmaceutical industry (you just can’t work there as a pharmacist if that makes any sense)

Choose Sunderland, they have d best pass rate, u can even google to confirm it yourself.
Mam, are you working in a hospital?
Independent prescribing course of we take, is it like working in a medical shop?
Yes I work in one of the NHS teaching hospitals as a clinical pharmacist and I am also an Independent Prescriber. The Independent Prescribing course is a mixture of coursework and practicals especially practicing consultation and actual prescribing with a consultant, another independent prescriber and/or GP. You can find out more about it by googling or checking the GPHC website.
@@Fashstyleliv if we do pharm D at UK , Then can we get a job at NHS like you?
@@mareinamary4005 you don’t need to do Pharm D in UK to get a job in the NHS. I only did OSPAP, pre-reg and passed the final exam. You can actually get to do your pre-reg in an NHS hospital.
😭😭 so early.

I am an overseas pharmacist planning to take admission in ospap next year. kindly can u tell me academic version of ielts is acceptable or ielts for UKVI is necessary? I would be grateful if you reply
Thanks.
Hello, I have been seeing this question lately. I did my OSPAP approximately 5 years ago and it was the Academic IELTS that was only accepted but there seems to be some confusion with the IELTS UKVI. I am not sure what the correct answer will be. It may be best to email the Home Office (UKVI) customer service to ask as they will have the best answer and also GPHC. So sorry I am not sure of the correct answer as things appear to have changed. Good luck and hope you resolve it.

Hello Dear madam I have one Question...
Ospap PGDip is a 9 months coarse, and for pre reg training, do i have to apply before my ospap admission confirmation or I can do afrer I secure admission...
Good luck.
Can an individual work in the pharmaceutical industry after completing his/her OSPAP program....?
Yes the individual can. Note that you don’t need to necessarily complete the OSPAP or be a UK pharmacist to work in the pharmaceutical industry (you just can’t work there as a pharmacist if that makes any sense)
