Hello, thanks for this information. I have already a four years of bachelor degree of pharmacy. Is it allowed to take the FPGEE exams in order to become a licensed pharmacist as a foreign international pharmacy graduate?
Online it states that you have to complete 5 years of study yet the UK MPharm is only a 4 year course. Does that mean a UK Pharmacist MPharm would not meet this hurdle & therefore not worth applying?
How do I progress as a foreign pharmacist here? I just got licensed and would love to qualify to apply to residency for example regardless of how competitive they tell me it is. But what other credentials can I acquire to stay updated and progress in the field here?
Thank you so much! I'm almost graduating in pharmaceutical chemistry now, here in Chile, and I've been thinking to move to the US in the near future. Question: all this process can be done outside the US? or a person is required to be in the US to complete any of these steps you mentioned before (I know some tests can be done online).
Thanks for this video. I am a pha licensed in Nigeria and would like to move to USA. Am not a USA citizen Please can i do the exams online or I would need to be present physically in the USA
I do not think its necessary for you to have a license in your country, but most definitely the education and training. In order to apply, you must have completed the curriculum. As for OPT and H1B, I am not sure.
HI MAM,Plz reply my question for example i am us citizen, live in usa and i have pharmacy degree from pakistan now i will give the fpgee exame or eligible and apply for naplex ?
I am not sure what you are asking. Are you saying that you are a US citizen with a Pakistan pharmacy degree but you are wanting to know if you are eligible to take the NAPLEX? Or--are you asking will you be eligible to take the NAPLEX after you have completed the FPGEE exam?
Hello, Great video. I am a pharmacist from Iran but in my country they don’t give a permanent license. Would you please tell me wether I can take FPGEE in US?

@@pharmacybasicswithdralaynam in few countries there is bachelors degree for 4 years And I have heard that in USA there is no such degree called Bachelors of Pharmacy but it is pharm d so if a student completes its Bachelor of Pharmacy and want to get licenced as pharmacist in USA so for that purpose he or she must be a pharm D so can a student get admission for pharm D after completing bachelors from another country ? Now I have got some information that pharm d is of 6 years and if a foreign student who have completed his/her Bachelor of four years can get admission in 5th year for pharm D so he or she will not need to enroll again whole new 6 years for pharm D
@@brokenstring3230 there is a such things as a bachelor's in pharmacy in the US. Although, there are not many schools if any still that offer that program. Earning a bachelor's in pharmacy has been phased out almost in its entirety from my understanding.

Thanks for info. I am a dentistry student who wants to practice and work in the USA. I am also thinking to switch my profession to pharmacy. Do you think as a foreing pharmacist working in the USA coudl be easier than a dentist? Thank you very much
I am not completely sure how to answer this question. I think that both profession require a great deal of skill set, knowledge, and responsibly and can easily be rewarding.
That is a very good question. You are not required to take the TOFEL Test if your native language is English or if you are an applicant from a major-English speaking country.
Thank You so much for clear and fact to fact explanation of getting Pharmacist license!!!
So helpful ❤

You also need to complete certain hours of internship

From my understanding, most of it can be done outside of the US. You do not have to be here to get it done.

Wow! Congrats
How a one can find a job in US after passing all the 3 exams? Especially one who is not living in US.
The only thing I can say is to look online everyday for jobs, as well as doing groups on facebook that are geared toward finding jobs in pharmacy.
Can I take all these exams in the UK? Or will i have to come to the US to take the exams?
Can international non-pharmacy graduate apply for FPGEC? Many thanks for your help.
No, you must have a certificate of completion from pharmacy school to sit for the test.

If I come from the UK and speak fluent English will the language exam be easy?
I am nor sure if it would be easy or not, but I can only imagine that it will be challenging but not impossible to pass.
Does people from UK still have to do Tofel? Or because the language is English you are not required
That is a very good question. You are not required to take the TOFEL Test if your native language is English or if you are an applicant from a major-English speaking country.
After pharmd can I join pharmaceutical industry with any entrance exam cleared directly joined pharmaceutical industry please reply mam
You do not have to go to pharmacy school or become a licensed pharmacist to work in pharmaceutical industry.
appreciate it
