"Partial to a bit of sausage, Peter Jones looks intrigued"
*reads it in the narrators voice/inflection in my head*
Yeah, the choice of phrasing was ill-advised to be sure.
😂👊
Hahahaha xOP I can't stop
Hahahahahhah thought this was just a comment you made up so I liked it. Then realised the narrator actually said it 😂😂
Our awards have won sausages. 👍
😂
💀🤣
And our sausages have won awards, full Circle 💪

Well hello there
Britain's best banger 2012 here.
Heyooo
this guy seems so genuine man, I rly hope he's doing well
I can only imagine the nervousness pitchers have to endure, kudos to them for soldiering on!
You could say they need to iron out their pitch. Or you could say it's real hard to get a pitch to stick if you don't have a good mask. Orrrr you could say these pitches are really in flux...
thats enough solder puns for now...
@@kevinbissinger Excuse the typo! 😅
@@MADMAX7330 Awww, I enjoyed the opportunity for a pun-off! I should be hired as a writer for the voiceover guy! IS DEBRA MEADEN HUNGRY TO BANG OUT A DEAL WITH THIS CHEF AFTER SEEING HOW THE SAUSAGE IS MADE? HOPEFULLY THIS ENTREPRENEUR DOESN'T SPLIT APART FROM ALL THE GRILLING! so on and so forth
What does baseball ⚾️ have to do with this ? Or do you mean entrepreneurs
it just takes practice, 3rd gen butcher, 1st time pitcher, v impressive.
"partial to a bit of sausage"... I really was hoping he would say Debra! 😂
Touker lol
Theo lol
Peter: I'll offer you the full £80,000 for the business but it must include your children's kidneys
LMFAOOOO
10:08 Theo sneaking a look to check if the butcher is actually considering Peter's utterly ridiculous & downright greedy offer.
10:13 Pete's face when he didn't take that deal like a mug xD
They are greedy , but only with words they try to market snd say that they invest in people. In the end what matters is money... Irony is they expect honest talks but they too are not honest and that's what businessman are..
Greedy? They are not a charity. They want to make money.
@@vahurjoa210
It's about "how much money" they want to make off the backs of other people's ideas and labour. Wanting to take/make as much as possible in an investment = greed
@@vahurjoa210 What Peter offered at first was not greed. It was pure greed. Even Theo was cringing and he's also a greedy businessman.
3 guarantees in life. Death, Taxes, and Peter Jones making an offer for your entire company
Even then, Peter Jones's offer has a Peter Jones tax on it.
What a thoroughly lovely fella! Lets hope Peter doesnt end up taking his grandads shop!
The investment went through and Peter Jones owns a 33.33% share of the business. And theyre still in business as of 2021.

Theo is probably thinking Peter is bloody nuts.
Theo isn't really much of a risk taker with he's money.
Entrepreneur : " I have another business"
Peter Jones : 🧐🧐🧐🧐👁👁👁👁👀👀👀👀😈😈
I reckon those sausages would taste amazing with a bit of Scottish seaweed
Where’s Rory when you need him
He looks like a scary rough man, but the nervousness just makes him look so sweet and humble.
"hopefully he's pleased too"- What a comment at the end.
Preying on a man's unwavering belief that he can provide 80k back to Peter in net profits solely from selling sausages in under a year.
Also, from Peter's point of view, where's the incentive to make the sausage business work if he has to hand back a third of a solid profit-making business...
Yes on both points, what I thought would've been more logical was something like the exact amount he was asking for but with a guaranteed return of at least 80k from the butcher shop, so as a loan like Kevin oleary often does..
Well the scale of the sausage business is much greater. Even if Peter stands outside the butcher shop and advertises it on TV24/7 there’s a pretty low ceiling to that businessz
What is meant by return 80k in net profit solely?
He's offering a 20% Steak? Thought they were sausages??
Haha
this is actually hilarious
Comedienne
Comment on his website reads:
"Since Dragons’ Den I have been working closely with Peter and his investment team, perfecting the branding, securing distribution with major retailers and now I’m thrilled that my sausages are available for everyone to enjoy."
If anyone has anymore information on how the company actually that can add to this?
“And Peter even shown me his sausage after absolutely nobbing me in that deal”
@Lee Claxton well it's good that Peter derisked himself by taking the butcher shop lol
John Barrowman has now joined the large sausage business . . . .
@@shawnurch8755 well his butcher shop and his sausage brand would be different entities surely.
*A Turner & Sons Sausage Ltd* is still going strong.. available in many UK supermarkets.. Morrisons, Sainsbury, Tesco..

OMG WILL SOMEONE ASSURE HIM HES OKAY AT THE BEGINNING! giving me anxiety lol
Atleast he was able to finish his pitch. The dragons are more intimidating the sharks.
So it's in peters interest not to push sales for the first 12months.
Peters partial to abit of a sausage 🤣
Jenny : "I love meat, I eat it all the time but I'm a vegetarian and so for that reason, I'm out"
Underrated comment
Let's be honest, I'm pretty sure Peter Jones has always been in the sausage business.
MMMh 😏
He's got five kids, so I guess you're right.
And that's why Peter is a great businessman...thinks about deals outside of the box.
No Peter just craves sausages
@david lavender Don't be jealous David. You couldn't make a deal like that because you're poor, and you degrade the deal because you're jealous and never had a business before peasant.
@@Falzeee Why are you so emotional?
@david lavender anyone? Apart from all the other Dragons... and this isn't the first time Peter has thought a little outside of the box and come up with a good proposal. Obviously one that favours him, but, that isn't surprising.
@@thetruth1822 because Peter craving sausages other than his, is hurting him. He wants Peter to be only interested in his own sausage.
Paul's Wife "How did it go?".
Paul "I did it, I got investment. Peter now owns all the business, including the shop and the house. He also took my soul, and I'm now an employee"
Oh and by the way how do you feel about staying with peter 2 nights a week. Kids I've got you a job in peters factory as soon as you turn 15. Great deal.
"But we do get to keep one of our kids"
Bingo you nailed it
Hahahahaha 🤣🤣🤣
I think the suggestion that Peter would get his money back in 12 months was a bit optimistic. Presumably Peter still has one third of the butchers' shop in Aldershot.
Been to this butchers regularly love their products
Deal went through and the company is still doing well. Peter's company Alda Capital is still a major shareholder.
Not surprised this guy made it. He seems genuine.

@@clairelou662 Yes. 'Best job in the world.'
That’s great for him
Gotta be honest I've tried a lot of these posh sausages and lots of other food. Sometimes it is a bit nicer than the supermarket own brand, sometimes it isnt. Sometimes I buy it once (Charlie Bigham prime example) and think well that £8 lasagne IS nicer than the own brand £4 one but not that much nicer. Looking at their website and product range it looks like they ditched the sausages and went down the snacks and seasoning route and going just on Companies House, turnover is minimal, despite the addition of a dragon.
I agree, the difference in price rarely justifies the difference in taste. The only people that really buy posh food are the posh people who can afford to spend £8 on sausages without thinking about it, lol.
That 8 quid lasagne may not taste twice as good as the 4 quid one, but you may find the ingredients are of much higher quality. A lot of the time having way less chemical garbage that the big companies add.
Try polish or german ones :) Best ones for me are from Poland. Ingredients, spicy, meat quality, everything. But i'm not talking about market quality.
The biggest jump is the budget v mid level sausages
You sound poor mate. Grim.
The flustered sausage man, Paul Turner, finally finishes his pitch.
It's like a Dan Brown line.

Marketing is not hard. If you make good products, in the world of social media, it will go on fire quickly. People are always looking for new "trends" now.
There was this new burger brand which I found at the restaurant. I picked it and said, "Let's try it." It was great. Much better than all the other brands. I made a post on Facebook about it and since then I am buying all their products. I have heard other people talking about it too.
How many millions have you made from marketing so far?
That wailing sound faintly entering your subconscious? Big Jen......
Wonder how things worked out
I would never back any one that nervous. Come prepared ffs haha
“Britain’s best banger” I typed that in google and got nothing to do with sausages.

I used to make my own sausages when I had a butchers shop, and the sausage skins ( sheep's intestines ) that come in a square plastic tub is the most powerful odour you will ever come across , stink bombs smell like roses compared to sheep intestines when you first lift off the lid of that tub.🤮

Britain’s best banger award lol
He was even moved to tears and happy (?) that Jones just took one-third of his family business .. is this how normal people are like .. why?
Did he realize he just got robbed?
I disagree. In this instance, Peter needed to diminish the risks involved whilst offering the help that Paul needed to get the sausage business off the ground. Paul had little to leverage in terms of the sausage business, but had something that could diminish the risks. He did not get robbed by any stretch of the imagination.
How are they doing?
He would be better off pitching to go all franchise with his butcher shop.
An Army of sausages
Seems at first glance to be a nice guy, and very nervous in the den. However, his whole family have profited over the years from treating animals with terrible cruelty..this is absolutely nothing to be proud of. This guy was nervous, but he's obviously never given any thought to how scared animals feel when they're on a conveyor line, hung upside down, waiting to have their throats cut. Shameful business, hope it fails miserably.
So basically Peter is now in the bailiff business.
why all the reuploads ???
more views, video might become trending, more money with adsense.
So his shop took in £750k, but net was £50k
So £700k went down to cover operational costs. In other words, to make £50k he had to generate £700k in revenue?
Nah. He should have said 2 years to make the money back.
