Hello sir ! Today is Teacher's Day. ("스승의 날", 스승 means a very good teacher.) In Korea, there is an event on May 15 every year to celebrate teachers' hard work. (It is currently 10 a.m. on May 15th in Korea.) My dragon drum teacher, I hope you are always healthy and happy. Thank you for watching the good lecture video. I will try to be a proud student. Youngsu in Korea.
My Hip-Hop Finger Drumming Course actually teaches how to craft your own drum grooves in your own unique style! My other courses focus on techniques and theory, but the Hip-Hop Course is all about performance and playing: dragonfingerdrums.com/hiphop
Is Maschine the best for finger drumming? How are we to know? Did you actually test the action of different units? I hope you could make a episode about what devices are best for finger drumming and compare them.
Great question! I haven't tried every pad controller out there, but of the ones that I have tried, Maschine is my personal favorite. I think a lot of it actually comes down to personal preference. Some pad controllers are objectively worse (usually the cheaper ones), but there are many finger drummers who just prefer the MPC pads and can play extremely well on them, while I personally dislike the feel of the MPC pads, and I play best on the Maschine. If you want a side-by-side comparison of different controllers, I think Quest For Groove did a video on that a while back!
Can tell you played real kits, Good videos. Sure could use a one-handed version of them. My brother was on a DMB Carter -level then lost his left side to a stroke, both hand and foot 😢 As a drummer in general, have any light (or links) that'd stand-up the equivalent of a hand up? My question's (hopefully) justified. As the stringed instrument /vocalist/ lyricist... I'm without my drummer.. sigh
