I haven’t played with the metronome in years, I’m really trying to now. I was in the orchestra back in HS and played the violin, I’m teaching myself how to play the piano now and it’s difficult a bit to play to the metronome. Your videos and confidence have definitely helped me in ways…

most important excercise: get your brain to issue commands to left and right hand rhythmically disjointed. you're 95% set then.

I just randomly found this channel, algorithm probably started with Bo Beats, then Gabe Miller, and finger drumming and here I am! I started with synths, then found this whole other world with beat making. This is the best training so far, loving it.

Thank you bro, this helped me get started with finger drumming on an MPC. I just got an MPD (which is a cheaper version of the MPC) yesterday and I want to use that to make drum patterns and chop samples, and I am looking for tips on how to improve at that.
