So. Much. Vibe. Your mastery of flow over the set is straight goals Currently, i can hold patterns and fills. Little usage of toms (adequetly) sprinkled in for now. Aux cymbals thrown in for variance, check Now im working on nathrual rolls. TOUGH. Next step is heavier incorporation of toms (for greatrer variance) Thanks for the amazing inspiration (and astounding layout that completely changed the game for me) ❤❤
Thanks so much man, I appreciate the kind words! Wishing you all the best as you keep practicing, I hope to see your skills in action as they keep developing!
@DragonFingerDrums Hi there, I love your videos! I started finger drumming myself after seeing the potential in your videos. I began your beginner course, but I'm having trouble getting started because I can't map the Steven Slate Drums VST on my Push 3. I've been searching for hours for a solution, but I can't find the MIDI mode on Push 3. In your video, you mention it's shift + Maschine logo, but I can't find the correspondent on the Push 3. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
I'm not sure if Push 3 has a dedicated MIDI Mode the same way the Maschine does. All you really need is to make sure that your controller is sending MIDI data to your DAW of choice (Ableton, Logic, FL Studio, etc), because inside of that DAW you're running Steven Slate Drums as a VST plugin. So if your Push 3 is sending MIDI to Ableton, then it will also automatically send MIDI to Steven Slate Drums running inside of Ableton, as long as you have that track armed to record. I know it's a lot of confusing little details and I wish this whole process was more plug-and-play, but really you just need to search for "Use Push 3 as MIDI controller for Ableton" or "Use Push 3 to control VSTs in Ableton" (or replace Ableton with whatever DAW you use). I hope this helps!
