*Great little pot... works well **enjoyable.fishing** recommend it’s the one Con:I only wish you could buy the center extension separately to make the trap longer. I will not buy another whole trap for it. I'll just make my own.*
I made this exact minnow trap about 4 years ago with one Differnece I installed a tube just to the side of my opening to hold my minnow bait so it is less likely to end up floating around the inside if trap. I use bread and cheetos to catch minnows. So it helps
Well maybe 3 or 4 dollars. Hardware cloth is around 1 dollar a foot. That’s 36 inches wide so 2 feet of cloth plus zip ties. 2x2 for the cylinder and 2 square feet for the ends. Roundabout.
I made a trap recently using 2 liter pop bottles as the cones. The end can be cut off to make the holes larger. I like your method for a door and securing the door. WHERE IS A LINK TO USING THE TRAP? I went to your UA-cam website and looked at all the videos, but didn't see one where you used the trap....? Thanks!

Just make sure the size of your trap you make is legal in your state
