    This is gorgeous. Great way to use all those dollar store bargain polishes too and not feel guilty for wasting.

    I love how you treat these like science experiments, because they are right?? You don’t wait around for the next trend, you’re creating your own Kyong. Beautiful colors in this one.

      I do love to experiment. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work but it's fun to find things that do.

    DO YOU NOT HAVE A VIDEO THAT SHOWS HOW YOU APPLY THIS TO YOUR NAIL STAMPER OR AS A DECAL AND PLACE IT ON THE NAIL WE NEED MORE INSTRUCTIONS LOL TY FOR THE VIDEO!!!

    • @KyongLee
      @KyongLee  4 роки тому +2

      I have done both but I usually place directly on nail. I do have a video part 2 from a while ago that shows the decal application process. I will try to do an updated one soon since I have learned a few things since then that help speed up the process.

      I realize I am replying to an old message but just in case it does help you or someone else: The most recommended product I’ve seen is Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine hair serum. It’s around US$6 and put one or two pumps worth of it into your polish bottle. If it’s unavailable in your area, any hair serum that has dimethicone/dimethiconol in the ingredients should work but I haven’t tried others. In this case, any cheap clear nail polish will work. You may need to pour some out to accommodate the hair serum. I would use a new bottle since older polishes tend to be thicker and don't spread out as easily.

    What is the clear stuff you put into the polish? Oil??

    This is not fluid nail art related, but I hope you can help. I am expanding my nail art horizons and have purchased born pretty foil strips and the blooming colors. Your tutorial on the blooming water colors helped me so much. Now I want to try the foil strips. Is there any tips you can share for a foil mani in natural nails. For example what top coat to use or how to’s. I seem to only find applying on gel nails foil tutorials. Thank you!

    • @KyongLee
      @KyongLee  4 роки тому +1

      I actually have some foil tutorials. Look for the one on foil glue comparisons. I would recommend a water based topcoat for foils. Some no smudge ones will work as well. Test on a spare piece of foil first. Let dry thoroughly and then you can use your regular quick dry top coat over it.

    How long will the clear transforming polish last? The one I mixed isn't working too well, could it be there is too much hair serum in it? If you handle it too much will it stop working? I am unable to get a clear polish to form cells.

    • @KyongLee
      @KyongLee  4 роки тому

      I don't know how long it will last since I go through bottles of it pretty quickly. If you think you have too much hair serum in it, you could mix it with another bottle of clear to get two bottles. Are you using all creme finish polishes? Are you using enough polish? Which technique are you using to try to form cells?

    GOT A QUESTION ON SLEEK AND SHINE AND WET AND WILD MIXTURE DO YOU PUT IT ON YOUR NAILS OR IN THE MIXTURE OF COLORS ON YOUR MAT KYONG?

    • @KyongLee
      @KyongLee  4 роки тому +1

      I put the mixture with the other colors on the mat because I like multicolored cells. It may work directly on nails but I haven't tried it.

    Do you have any tips for getting decals made this way not to peel off the nails quickly? Is it just the nature of such a thick application, or am I not allowing enough dry time, or...? 🤔

    • @KyongLee
      @KyongLee  4 роки тому

      Try using a sticky base like Orly Bonder to get the decal to stick well. Apply one thin coat of it, wait about 30 seconds, apply decal. It also really helps if the decal is still quite pliable. I wait about 2 hours for fluid art decals to dry before applying. If you're having issues with the decals being too thick, try the stamper squish method. You get nice thin quick dry decals that way. I have a tutorial a few back.

    I really like what you're doing with your nail art. 👍 But please, PLEASE get rid of this horribly irritating vocal fry. You're actually damaging your vocal chords by doing this. 😱😣

      I can help it sometimes. My alternatives are to write in subtitles which takes time or not do videos...

    • @KyongLee
      @KyongLee  4 роки тому +1

      I had to Google this because it is not a term I was familiar with and found this article interesting. www.dictionary.com/e/vocal-fry/

    • @ChaosFish8
      @ChaosFish8 4 роки тому

      Oh, I thought you did this on purpose. Because vocal fry is quite trending among women for a few years now. Here's a video, that shows exactly what I mean.

      No, don't bother with subtitles, I get what you're doing in your tutorials mostly on mute just fine.
