Having a 2023 M3P, wanted to upgrade to the model y but the updates in the highland are so significant. So im waiting for the Juniper Model Y. It will be worth the wait.

Yes, I want to buy a Tesla Model Y but I still hesitate because I find that the car needs the refresh and that buying too early may make me lose value on my new vehicle. What do you think?
Will the refresh model Y drop with performance at release or is it coming later like the 3 just came with long range and standard
A few weeks ago when they lowered the price, the MY inventory was over 6500+ in the US alone which is over 1500% more than any other Tesla model at that point. Current inventory today is 5000 which is still 1000% more than any other model. I don't think the price will go back up on March 1st.
Also, consider this. If they continue to have this much over stock throughout the year, they may not be able to roll out the refresh and raise prices like they want. At least not until mid 2025.
The price increase in March is due to $1k discount in Feb. Play on words.

I’m trying to wait and trade in my model 3 long range for a y. The 3 is just too small when you have a family and go on road trips
Pretty sure model y prices on inventory will go down in March not up. Our Tesla dealer has so many on their lot. They will lower the price to close out Q1

Here in Canada mode y is 54 990$ , it is 5000$ less than model 3 refresh. I think it is the time to buy or wait for the juniper at 60 000$ probably. In Québec province next year we will lose 3000$ incentives also.
I've been seriously thinking about going from my 2023 M3LR to a MYP but as others have said I think I'll be waiting as the changes appear to be significantly better.
Gotta wait for the Y re-fresh, so many upgrades coming soon !

Good to know! Hard to say, but I’d maybe wait for the new Model Y Juniper.
I like the look of the original model 3 over the refresh.
Highland brought more comfort, sound proofing and interior build quality.
But can the current Y be really improved significantly in these categories?
I want the ventilated seats, enhanced display and Hardware 4, but I do not expect the Y+1 to be much more comfortable or better made. I don't care about the facelift or the new paints.
What would be a game changer is 800volts and below 20min charging 10-80% on the Long Range

It’s really not that hard to know what it’s going to look like. Since the Model 3 and Y are very similar, just look at the Model 3 Highland and take all of those changes and put them to the Model Y.

hope the signal stalks remain in the new Model Y, is a sin to remove it in the first place.
It’s coming out at EV battle grounds of the world, Chinese market and some Europe. To battle against and maintain EV supremacy in that region is 100% critical … expect that asap and soon after its will be released in USA . Why? We’re not priority, Chinese EV are not here… yet
