Toilet Angle Stop Leak Repair

This water line for the toilet burst in the wall causing a massive leak that went on for weeks before it was discovered. This repair is all I do in this video and remediation will be done by another company

Regarding my toilet: Question: do you have any ideas if my toilet fill tube is super short that the fill valve is not short enough to create the fill line 1” below top tube?
