# Well Said # You give me alot more insight & confidence in purchasing a Line 6 . Most local sales representatives, don't have the ability to demonstrate. You Da Man !!!!!
I've had one for 6 or 7 years it's still like it was out the store yesterday.. Apart from dings on it I've done bumping it it's actually a solid as fuqqq amp... I bought it from cash converters a pawn store for $200 best buy..
I'm debating between getting the Jam or the regular Spider IV 75. The Jam has some really cool and unique features with all the jam tracks and recording options. It just has fewer presets, FX, and amp models. The sounds I really want are Steve Vai, Randy Rhoads, Jimmy Page, and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Does the Jam come with any presets for them (Artist or Song)? Also, does it have any jazz (clean) presets or jam tracks? Thanks! Cool demo!
How do you record to a computer for great audio...What equipment would i need to record to a computer.. Like how is the audio quality good, & camera soo good.
On my Spider Jam amp, the tone pre-set will change on it's own. It'll play fine for 1/2 hour to a hour, then the tone changes as though I'd turned the pre-set nob. It's annoying and kind of fucked up. Any ideas on how to fix this problem ? ?
please get back to me, i have that exact same setup and i just bought the fbv shortboard mk2 and i cant figure out how to loop. its not letting me use the fuction 2 on the board with the spider jam. im so confused an theres no information on this problem out there
The Spider Jam is designed to be a multi instrument amplifier and the bass sounds pretty good through but I always feel that buying a single purpose amp (like a dedicated bass or guitar amp) will give you more flexibility as well as a more natural tone. That being said, the Line 6 Spider Jam is a great option for a musician who is working with little space or wanting something that is easy to write or arrange for a band setting. Great amp! Cheers - Alec
It's inside the top display screen. I've got 4 of them. Best amp for quick recording. You can also change the key of the built in backing tracks. It tells you what key your in.
I believe this is awesome I just purchased one, but I need some help I need some Reggae type of drums how do I get this demo so I can practice something can you please help me thank you very much my name is Mark.
I used to be in jam bands and cover bands BITD. but being in a band can be a pain in the ass for a multitude of reasons. This amp is like having a band without the non-sense that goes with being in a band.

Cause I s a cheap amp, and usually amps like this don’t have a replacement parts like an expensive one, it’s important that you register your amp for extended warranty as soon as you get it, I had a Line 6 spider III that last mow than 8 years of use and abuse, ( I traveled to South America with it once) and then after I came back lasted another year and finally broke down, of course there were no parts available, and I bought another amp ( spider IV)….. for me, these are the best cheap amps for practice and Jamming….
10 Jesus answered and said to him, “Are you the teacher of Israel, and do not know these things? 11 Most assuredly, I say to you, We speak what We know and testify what We have seen, and you do not receive Our witness. 12 If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things? 13 No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven. 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God (The Great I AM, YHVH, El Shaddai, Adonai, God of Jacob, Isaac, and Abraham). This amp is TRASH. This was my dream amp but I have had issues since first day. It shuts down automatically as I go through inbuilt drum/songs. I sent it to service and after a month they said the electronic board had issues and had to change it, so they did but the sudden shut down issue is still there. It has great sound but Im definitely disappointed by its quality and service. Better Music is awesome but not this amp for sure.
too bad they break if you sneeze near them. seriously, for such an incredible amp, they are masters of being paper weighted pieces of shit with zero support from L6, oh and they WILL break generally just out of warranty, FACT..check the forums.
Bought mine in 2015, beat it to death - love it, still sounds great. Only problem I've had was with the FBV Express foot pedal - that died about 18 months ago, although I suspect that the problem was more with my heavy foot than the pedal. bought it at guitar center, I wasn't looking for this, bought it on the recommendation of the salesman. Really glad I took his advice. HIGHLY recommend this amp.
@@EclecticEcentric yeah I was abit salty when i commented, they're not nearly as bad as people think ^^ It seems there was a line of amps made with less than stellar parts, the amp itself is really nice for what it is, but a certain line for about 6 months were less than adequate, and WILL break eventually, usually something stupid like a cold solder joint, or failed resistor. I literally fixed mine with a toothpick haha.
@@WE_OF_THE_NOV Sadly, QC/QA is not what it used to be. The one I have is an ok amp... not my go to for live, but it's an ok practice amp. I actually let my son use it more than I do. Still the best practice amp ever. There's a reason they still sell it.
Totally agree.I use this amp a lot because the drums are adjustable.
Heard about this amp through a story about a kid that was ashamed of it. This still beats your average starter kit : amp and guitar.
Great Line 6 Demo. Would like to see some more as I just bought a Line 6 Spyder IV 75 watt.
That's the most badass looking ESP I've ever seen!
I like this tutorial on line 6 very straightforward no bullcrap.thanks yu had great addition to your saved loops.

Will be picking this up later today 😎
This is good to start off for sure

I started off with that
Does this have the SOIL preset like the older Spyder series does? Mine is 15 ang going out. Great Video! THX!
When he said "Little Wing" during the presets part, I thought he said Lil Wayne and was ready to flip my shit
TheBfutgreg That's the Kiwi accent for you...
Lil Wayne is the greatest guitar player to ever walk the earth. Fuck Page, Hendrix and Eddie. That boy can play some shit.
Hell yeah if Hendrix was still around, he'd take lessons from Little Wayne!
yeah I heard Lil Wayne as well,,, then I thought,,,naw!!1
Same ish
Would the POD HD 500 pedal work the same way as the expression pedal on this video. I haven't gotten the Spider IV jam yet. still researching on it.
good stuff but i couldnt what you did to increase drum tempo

Great video. Two questions. First do you know how to save your recordings to wav. Second what is the functions 2 switch on the pedal used for.

What drum beat is this?? Can’t seem to find it??
What will happen if I reset spider jam? Do I loose all tracks that came in it? And tones?
As a lefty I do admit it does seem weird seeing a left handed guitar player play on camera
As a righty it feels more normal than seeing a right handed player on camera. Idk why
@@leoncorbett4553 I think the reason is because it’s like looking into a mirror so it probably matches up better when looking at their fretboard.

So he just created an Iron Maiden song using a Line 6 amplifier. OK
Would I need pedals to record guitar ontop of the drums like this? Or cna the amp record my playing?
It has playback buttons and options on the face of the amp, so no pedals :)
