Don’t worry about lining the Liberty lawn fabric. It is very tightly woven and mostly opaque. I say put that dress at the top of your list!

Definitely the Kalle- those fabrics are gorgeous! Others I liked are the Shelby and the Simplicity red dress.

Love the Zoey dress. The simplicity of it lends to adding some fun jewelry.......gold earrings and or necklace would look great. It would also look beautiful with a summer jacket over it. It looks very comfortable as well.
The striped autumal colored knit fabric.....not the best summer colors and if those colors don't work on you I would destash it.
Love the Farmrio inspired dress. That would be so fun.
The last oyster colored linen would make great summer pants or shorts.....not so much a dress especially if it is not a good color near your face.
Love the red dress. For me it is green and blue that I have the most of. If you love wearing red that is a really beautiful fabric and the pattern is beautiful.

I LOVE YOUR HAIRCUT! I understand what you mean about continually pushing off the vintage denim dress. But in my experience, the unexciting and basic (I.e. boring) projects are always the ones I wear the most. I think you would really like it once it's made, and this one gets my vote. Also, I think you need one more red dress in your life, and I think you look lovely in feminine details such as that ruffle. I really like your polo dress idea, but maybe save it for a fabric that you like better? I can't wait to see what you make and this was very inspirational for my own summer dress making plans.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of these choices. The Kalle is one of my favorite patterns, so I'll vote for that - plus those fabrics are fantastic! You could always dye the undyed linen 😊🙌🏻

My thoughts - the Kalle dress you don't have any thing like it. It is a style you enjoy and feel good in. The polo dress idea seems spot on for you. Is it possible to pull out the red color as the contrast instead of white? I think that might look better against your skin, or even the black. The red fabric is amazing. I would love to see that on you, without the ruffles. If you decide, your wardrobe can handle one more red dress

Ok. So. Everything is pretty that you chose. The fabrics that is not a you color, with the stripes, destash it. If I could wear backless, I would have that be a feature of many of my summer dresses. Have fun deciding!❤
You seem most excited about sewing the Liberty lawn I've decided never to hold back cutting into that fabric again because it's SO dreamy to wear! Second, the creative Kalle with two fabrics: you've inspired me to consider doing something similar. I love my Kalles and they're so easy to wear. Third, I'd pick the Zoey because it's different from the other dresses and you already enjoy wearing both ribbed knits and the style. I don't think olive green would look at all nightgown like. It'd be easy to style with a shirt tied over it, denim or cropped jacket or cardigan, and cropped sweatshirts...so versatile. Enjoy!

So many great choices you're considering, but the one that stood out to me was the Kitty sleeveless with the shawl collar with the Liberty Lawn. Maybe I chose that because of how much I loved your original white and red dress from that pattern.

Since you only have time to make 2 or 3, I would prioritize the Liberty lawn since the fabric is so special and you already have had success with that pattern. Hopefully you can overlook the lining expenditure issue. 😊 Also, rhe Kalle dress gets my vote since you enjoy wearing that dress so much and you have already figured out the pattern mixing (which will be lovely). If you have time for #3, make the denim dress so you can cross it off your list! Now, if I could only make my own decisions this easily! 😂

'Do i really need another red dress?' Well, can you have too many clothes in your favorite color? I think you can't. You like the fabric, you like the color, you like the dress. Go for it!
As for the second dress, i vote the denim dress. I think the reason why you are putting it off is 1. you have the fabric and the pattern for a while already, and they are honestly not THAT exciting. But this dress in denim looks very much like a future staple dress that you can combine with your other clothes and accoires (and i know you have lots of them) into many different looks.
Hence i would say, do first the one that excites you and makes you happy (red dress) and then the one that will be very practical and probably worn a lot (denim dress).

So many choices! Id destash the fabric you dont love. Whatever you make with it you are unlikely to love. Use the lyocell denim to make the planned shirt dress or the libby. Those simple pieces get so much wear! You could dye the natural linen to a colour that brings you more joy ?

I think all the dresses are great for you, or as I similar height person, I would consider them all though I like the skater dress. Re the Tana lawn ( I tried to add this comment to the op comment) - Tana lawn is incredibly hardy. I still have some old blouses from the 80/90s. Also it isn’t ( or wasn’t) really see through though it is incredibly light and cool. It isn’t really like any other lawn I’ve bought. Maybe just a slip for cooler days. Good luck with your sewing. I envy the Tana lawn.

I like the Kalle Dress plan and that last one that you could use as a cover up. I have some natural undyed linen as well and I am considering dying it after I make up a garment if I don't like it. I'm very unsure of how it looks with my pale skin tone. I also wanted to say that I love this video. I love how you are pairing potential pattern/fabric combinations out of your stash. Super inspiring.
i'm so glad you enjoyed it! dyeing isn't an option for me because i've had bad allergic reactions to dyeing experiments i tried in the past. but i hope it works out well for you!
I like the red but i would choose a pattern that is very different from the red dresses you currently have.
I'm late to the party and maybe you already made your decisions, but I'm with the Kalle and the polo dress - looking forward to seeing the winners! As far as the Tencil shirtdress, I think it would get a lot of use but maybe it just didn't seem exciting to you and that's why it hasn't been made yet? A lot of our workhorse items aren't really exciting on their own, but they do get used, so maybe that should be on the list, too - at the bottom; dessert first, right 😄?!?

Kalle, Kalle, Kalle!! Also, I have a ribbed tank dress from Target that I’ve worn a ton this spring- I sized up, it’s a maxi with a slit + I wear it with a cropped sweater or sweatshirt…so comfy!! Have fun sewing, Sara❤️

The problem with backless is bra situation but if uou have petals it could be easier gor you to want to wear it. I camt ever figure that out lol but i want to!
well one of the few good things about having a small chest is that the bra situation is much less of a concern. i discovered sticky bras last year and it's been a game-changer for me. i know they won't work for everybody though.
