'sometimes i feel like there's a man inside of me.. wait. sometimes i feel like there's multiple men INSIDE me.'
- Inspirational Quotes by Ethan Becker
„But sometimes I feel like there’s multiple men filling me up… *_UH!…_* you know…“
“Sometimes i just feel like there’s multiple men FILLING me up- RRRRRR 😼”
As if he tried to take that back/correct it.. but it only ✨gets worse✨
Relatable 🙏
I love how Ethan makes me shift from a hopeless mindset to a "wait... I can try this, and it's ok if I suck!" perspective. His reverse psychology works pretty well on me lmao I'm really grateful for that.
Ethan is taking it to the NEXT LEVEL for our little BABY BRAINS
5 years drawing and i never learned how to do backgrounds. Thanks Ethan, you taught me in 16 minutes. Good luck with those guys you have inside ❤
I swear I feel the same, he has that capacity of making it simple to understand
@@cedrictheveneau9141 YES, he's an amazing artist, a really great teacher, and he's hilarious too, I love his content
On my way to practice backgrounds rn 👌🏾⭐️

Can anyone tell me where does he draw? Like which app?
You make it so much easier for me to recognise my mistakes as someone whose self teaching! Appreciate ya, and all the dudes you gotta fight with inside bahaha
"sometimes i feel like there's multiple men inside of me."
"sometimes i feel like there's multiple men...filling me up."
and he's so real for that
"What is that, elevator…land?" 😂😂😂
"Don't be sensitive...
Don't be scared...
It's okay... I got you..."
Why do I feel like crying?
Who else here feels like crying?
A ridiculously helpful bootcamp where Ethan simultaneously kicked my confidence to the curb and then built me back up to 9000 all while calling me nasty
Everytime I watches your vid, I just want to draw till my hands hurt. Very inspiring indeed
Sometimes I miss the Ethan that has a knife mic and a broken cig in his mouth and yells at me for being bad and stupid. This nicer Ethan's roasts hit so much harder.
"there's multiple men inside of me 💀💀" :D :D :D
Ethan is so babygirl
I’m so glad you have started posting again this is an amazing era
when you said there was multiple men filling you up... I felt that.. I constantly feel like men are filling me up and to be completely honest, it's frustrating 😔
🤨
🏳️🌈❗️❓️
this such a helpful video, I tend to always struggle with adding a background that fits the characters but this video breaks it down super well
The Gordon Ramsay of art
Ethan saw me about to post on a gradient background and said “stop…”
I always like how your videos have this tone like you're a bully in an afterschool special trying to peerpressure us into trying drugs, but you're just aggressively teaching us art 😂
Really glad to see ya uploading yet again recently Ethan. Your one of the artists I look up to. Since you've been uploading again. You gotten my inspiration to practice up on my drawing skills yet again after tackling on painting for a year now. Thanks for being inspirational Ethan.
i still remember he said i am " QUIT UA-cam " And now here he is😂

Good advice. I took notes. 👍
BLESS YOU.
Those students are gonna be so traumatized but also so good at art later
Finally back Aww, more vid!
36 years with eye problems and dyscalculia, trying to invent, to imagine something that my brain doesn't recognize like depths, crying in front of my not-straight-lines, AAAALL THAT SUFFER just to watch George Michael stealing backgrounds and adding just filters and "contact shadows"... I don't even know who I am 😂😂😂😂 big hug from Argentina!
Question, how did you deal with dyscalculia? I've been struggling with it for years and I've never exactly got told how to live with it so I'm really unsure of what to do.
@@2Lowfy well... first, I think that I acepted that I can't understand numbers. But just a few times I can really do simple things! So my learning process is not lineal, for me, dealing with it is not like going through a stairway: it's more like being walking inside a laberynth. Plus, school system was not prepared to teach people with this kind of cognition so, for example, I felt very lonely and guilty for not to give my all on maths... But then I grew up and I understood that is perfectly natural being good at some stuff and being bat at other things... I think I'm good on painting (at least, I enjoy arts). You are not supose to be a 100 pts on eeeeeverything. In fact we can fail, we can scratch our face on the ground just to get up again and develope creativity to solve some questions... but we don't need to know all the answers, who could resist such a responsability? In my case, With less Rocks on my bag, allowing me to "not understand everything" I just started to draw some perspective drawings, it's been a couple of years without doing that kind of works, and it feels good! Not incredibly pleasant but hey! It's drawing! I'm thanked that I can draw a hall or a library! It's not %100 exactly but who cares? Enjoy the way without being focused on the final. Oh! One more thing: when you go looking for a job, may be the best for you those kind of jobs wich doesn't need to manipulate big amounts of numbers. But if you don't find exactly that kind of job, it is also good to tell the employer about your kind of relationship with logical hypothetical deductive process and numbers. It's needed to be clear that you are not having bad intentions on writing a number for another one. Your employer trust on you is the most important item because that person will be, in the best case, who support you and understands on your journey. I recommend you a movie from Amir Khan, it name is something like Taare Zamen Par. It's about a boy who has this particularity.
I have dyslexia AND severe dyscalculia and I never knew my inability to understand perspective had anything to do with my problems with depth and perspective. I'm glad I watched this video, because Ethan has a way of beingmotivating and encouraging while being brutal and abrasive. But I'm just as appreciative of your comment so that I learned something more of my disability and not only am I not alone but I'm not the only artist that struggles with this.
Thank you so much for sharing. ❤️
@@Phob1c Hey I have dyslexia too!!! You know, I think that may the people who "thinks different" finds different ways to solve problems... we use to suffer not answering challenges like others and that angust stops ourselves from creating, and we must know that make the ilusion of dephts on a 1D paper it's a big deal!!! So how would we swim into that illusion? That's the point. For example I love colors. I think about light and how atmosphere changes the colors of the things, the grass, the houses, skin, the mountains, etc.. so, when something is far away from us, it turns blue. "Ok: far away=blue".... also, when something is far away, is smaller. "Ok: far away= blue and small" hahaha... and I didn't think about numbers, I just think something about values and if I could or not see details.... it's hard to compose with eye problems but we must know that in fact there's a way, we different way to solve. And it's time about to get that insight, singularity of creativity. And enjoying the ride!
@@natirubi524 Thanks that really helpful. It's been so hard all these years, I just focused on designing things in a one point perspective if at all. It was hammered into me for years by various art teachers to do it "this and that" way that I didn't even think about just think things look when they are far way or close. You're right, we have to come up with our own ways of drawing because of our short comings.
I felt the opening of this. Very deeply. Violently even.
loveyou man
thanks
"multiple man inside me".... is crazy!
For me learning from Ethan Becker is the definition of "aim for the moon and you'll land among the stars"
As a student there's a lot of things that I have yet to get a grasp on, but thanks to him I am able to do much better than I did, let's say, a week ago. It's amazing!
ethan becker and black & decker, are both tools that i come back to often
That crying took me out hahaha!!!
Sam getting dragged for no reason 😂
that was the best ad for anything ever
Ethan Becker has beautiful eyes
Bro i love that guy
i love you ethan
Huge new upload
The way you are just going after everyone is so funny🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
hahahahaha I LOVE this interaction!!!!!!!!! 😅😅😅😅😅
Actually, that was really helpful! I usually tend to do my backgrounds first before rendering the character though so that I can get the lighting down pretty well. Unless it’s a portrait painting or study, of course, for which blurring the BG seems about right 😂
Why are your eyes so beautiful
🤯
And cool you're doing more videos again dude.
thank you sir, you made my artblock go away
Passive aggressive, the art channel.
Ayooo I need thiss
Lol I start with a background and then realize at the end I should probably draw a character. I'm slowly working backwards 😁
"Be a piece of trash and blyr our your background"
lol yup, thats usually how my backgrounds turn out haha
One thing I really appreciate about your content is that not only are you teaching really solid fundamentals and habits, but your commentary is so funny on several levels; the kind of self-deprecating character you sometimes affect has for me the same kind of vibes as the "you suck at photoshop" series, really shows off how thoughtful you are in your approach to teaching. Very good stuff; I hope you continue to produce content like this for as long as you enjoy doing it.
Gonna make my arts and absolutely DESTROY these algorithms with it, thanks to u. Mark my words
This is such great advice wtf??? 😭
That introduction tho 😂
gettin' learnt
We have been fed!
Funniest part was where he gets scared of his computer making a noise 😂😂😂😂😂
Omygod the man himself is actually uploading 🤯
ok i will do it even though i didnt watch the ideo yet
The random computer notification while drawing hits me like a Gregorian church bell to the head too
