Read a paper published by a therapist a couple years back. I don't remember the quote exactly, but basically said something along the lines of women and children are loved and praised simply for existing. Men have to constantly prove their worth to be validated. That's why crossing from boyhood to manhood is so jarring.
I don’t believe there’s such thing as unconditional love. Someone’s always gonna have to provide something in the relationship, regardless of sex. However, I’d say there’s more that a man has to provide in order to be “loved”.

Most people just like dogs and other pet animals just because they are cute regardless of what uses they may have. An inspection of woman's body practically pays itself because that's all it requires For some people, it is well known that both guys and girls love hot girls. It doesn't matter how much use you get out of them because they are already cute. Men on the other hand are not cute, any animal that isn't appealing as a pet is used as food or efficient labour. Men in the eyes of society and metaphorically by women who are honest with themselves are no different from an OX or sheep from a practicality perspective.
The more profitable the man is and/or healthy a man is the more he will be prized. On top of that, he should also be easy to control and not draw the attention of too many competitors. Being rich, being an easy care cattle ( having a "good personality" as they state). A woman picks what she judges as a viable companion based on what she already has in life. If the government and society already provide enough wealth and security, she will look for a conformist or easy breed of man. If she needs someone sexually appealing she goes for the practiced and healthy ones. If more funding is required, aim for the profitable ones ,etc... Ultimately a man is chosen based on practicality because they lack intrinsic value as males are disposable, if one disappeared it is simply easier to grab another one.

I'm 19 and as I continue to mature, I am starting to understand this civil war a whole lot more. As a man, I am not even going to act like I know what women go through... but I hope women can get the equality they deserve. Sexism against men is a thing. It genuinely upsets me, thinking that people just are bullying men for no reason other than the fact they are men. Like, sure, some men are sexist against women, but it feels like a much smaller percentage than the amount of sexist women nowadays. This needs to stop.

I'm in medical rehabilitation focusing on mental health issues. The vast majority of those 100+ people living here are male. My female house mates constantly complain about there being too many guys.
