Like it's just sad
Their versions of equality depend entirely on what they see as comfortable for their own lives. They use it as a means to detract from the fact that’s there’s never been a such thing as equality in all of human history in terms of person to person interactions. About a year ago I met my current GF, we were hanging out at her house, talking about the happenings at school, when she asked me "Why do you always have that expression?" after that I started crying from remembering all the harassment. I tried my best to calm down, she told me "It's okay to cry NM (My initials) Don't bottle it all up." I was genuinely surprised, I thought she would've told me to "Man-up" like a lot of other people told me, instead she showed me kindness, and I was grateful. She was one of the few people who genuinely cared (and still cares) about me. Flash forward one month after that she goes up to me and says she has something to tell me, so I get pulled aside and she confesses her feelings to me, and thats how I started dating her.

Men, remember. If a woman actively hate men, us girls never claimed them as one of us.
The thing is, since the last couple of centuries society was always male dominated, and they had a superiority complex, while women were considered inferior and framed into particular ways. Men ought to be tough, emotionless, rough and all and women are supposed to be this and that.
Either way because of those both suffer, men suffer enough from society with all those burdens and women suffer in a whole lot different ways. Now that women are embracing and talking against dumb societal norms, it seems many men doesn’t do the same on their side. Most of them still are not ready to accept what they’ve lost because of those norms.
Either way they created their own conceptions and now we struggle to face the consequences, trying to get out of those engrained in the society. We don’t need feminism or any shit. We just need to realize we are humans. And each other should be treated with love.
Now women are trying to get back at what they lost, and not exactly in the right way cause most of them try to put men down instead. This shouldn’t be an argument in the first place, it’s simple as it is.
I remember dating a woman, sitting on the couch and watching a movie with her and I dared to shed a tear in front of her. I didnt bawl, I didnt sniffle, I wasnt actually full on crying. No because my school started a social emotional support group and half the kids there were guys and some of the girls got so pissed because they thought only women had emotions that needed to be tended to.
some of them proceeded to get kicked out when one of them brought up how, in our time to speak openly about what was uncomfortable, said those guys should be playing a sport or something instead of being there, and that it made her feel uncomfortable because the boys were always rude to eachother, so "why are they caring about emotions now?".

I've had terrible experiences with men, but that doesn't give me the right to be sexist. Its so disgusting how other women think it's okay when they are literally doing what they exactly hate. I've gone through bad things, but I don't think men are disgusting and that all of them should die. The bad person just so happened to be a man, their a bad person their gender doesn't play a role in this. Men should be able to express their feelings without being ridiculed.
It's so god damned hilarious. I as well had bad experiences with a man, yet I have brothers and a father that I love dearly. To think that every man's the same is either stupendously ignorant or massively narcissistic.

Yeah and? Nearly every man out there has had a bad experience with a woman.
That's like me, being a man, I was physically abused and beaten at times by my wife to the point to where I had to take a week off from work because my face was messed up.
Men like me that have been abused can't call the cops for fear of being arrested because we are the male of the household. If we letr ourselves get beaten we are considered weak, if we fight back, we're the aggressor. All we can do is hold our heads down and pray that some day it will end. And it's always our fault somehow. Being abused by someone you love is a horrible, horrible thing, and the wound never heals.

The following concepts uphold the patriarchy:
- certain forms of expression are feminine/associated with women
- women are supposed to be weak, therefore femininity must be a sign of weakness
- certain forms of expression are masculine/associated with men
- men are supposed to be strong, therefore masculinity (or a lack of femininity) must be a sign of strength
Upholding gender roles (such as refusing to allow men to express themselves in a "feminine" way) directly harms the feminist movement because they're literally reinforcing core patriarchal concepts. Everyone should be able to be strong, and everyone should be able to be weak. That's a part of human nature; it has nothing to do with gender. Femininity isn't weakness and weakness isn't feminine. Masculinity isn't strength and strength isn't masculine. Femininity and masculinity are just words that were created to categorize and control our self expression.
Shaming men for showing emotions, feeling pain, being vulnerable, wearing dresses, being queer, etc. is not only sexist, but it goes directly against what these "feminists" supposedly stand for. If your "feminism" relies on hurting men, it isn't feminism; it's just misandry. When you attack one gender, you attack *all* genders. Not only are these women being sexist assholes, but they're actively fueling what they're supposedly so against.
Couldnt agree more. The worst thing is that alot of people would absolutely agree with you, but the media points out all of the bad people and puts them on display. Its why the word "feminism" and being a "feminist" is starting to be seen as a bad thing by men, because they see the bad people calling themselves feminists and then being outwardly sexist. In reality, all true feminists think like you do but no one ever talks about the true feminists or makes posts about them or puts them on a pedestal. The world is just fucked but im glad there are still people that can agree that what it really fucking needs is true gender equality for any progress to be made in society right now.
Seriously tho what happened to the second wave feminism? The one that yearns for true equality?

@@stefan1360 True but thats only if you give up hope on genuine women, you can't let paranoia rule your life. Its ok bro if they laugh we just gonna do another episode of PRANKED on them.
@@stefan1360 I agree with you in that bro
Okay so I am a bad person because I am a man.
i guess so :(
Men ≠ Bad
Reminds me of that woman who said "Men deserve happiness too" and everyone tried to cancel her.
These women act as if other women don't abuse others themselves. It's not something you can just stop or expect to be disintegrated at a moment's whim. That's like expecting people not to rob other's in the future.
in fact they were bullying that woman of the first tweet.
abused and manipulated and gaslighted into thinking that it was my fault why she ended our relationship. Coming from a lesbian.
Murders ,rapists, thieves and most type of criminals will always exists they are also human ,they can turn out to be worst if most of us can turn out to be good. The ideal world with no criminals is just a dream but we can get close to this ideal and we are if you consider the cases of serious crimes they have reduced over time.

Eldritch Mother? More like Eldritch Queen. Mad respect for her, wherever she is now. 👏
No.
Eldritch Goddess.
"I'm not going to be nice to anybody until there are no more horrible people in the world"
Despite there's a 50/50 change it's a troll:
"I'm asking from the man in the mirror
I'm asking him to change his ways"
Weren't they just pointing out how stupid the person was for saying she wouldn't treat men well because some men abuse women?
Pretty sure he was just making fun of the comment he was replying to.
@@notsosupersaiyan1005 Possibly, sometimes it's just hard to tell what is serious and what is tongue in cheek. Especially on Twitter.
"I'm not going to be nice to anyone until there is no horrible person left"
. . . doesn't that make you one of them doe
It was sarcasm. It was showing how ridiculous the previous Statement before that one was.
@@johnathansmith9405 in Twitter, you can't tell what's sarcasm and what's real
people took it as if she was talking about the core of feminism, when she was just adding another point to the principal ideas of feminism which is empowering women. She was right about what she said yet people were mad cuz she didn't talk about the stuff that 329290586 feminist accounts already talk about. I swear, those dumb ppl act like they don't even know what the patriarchy is about, it affects men just as much as women.
Iirc feminism actually strives for equality amongst all genders, female empowerment was just another goal as women are quite less privileged(?)/discriminated(cant find the proper terms) in the past. Now, it actually lost it's meaning and changed to spiting men and wanting gender privileges for themselves
@@rougen4725 Wrong. Feminism is for the female sex. Not both. That's what the "fem" in feminism stands for and has always stood for. Then you have men's rights and egalitarianism.
@@bimates2690 i see, thanks for the info
@@rougen4725 You see, no one will try to get anything for themselves by openly stating they want to antagonize the only group who had the power to give them what they wanted. Feminism wouldn't get far it they told from the start that they wanted to fk men, so saying it's for equality or is a requirement. Art of war 101.
Everyone talks about how misogyny is bad but not how misandry is just as bad.
and also it cant co-exist with the belive that theres a patriachy if women are superior to men how could a patriachy exist?
As a woman, all the misandry everywhere hurts my heart so so much. As far as I know, the only thing I can do is compliment men more. Which is a very difficult task, as I have social anxiety, but I should try my hardest despite that.
Can any man tell me what else I can do? This stuff makes me so upset, both the left and right of the political spectrum act this way, I want to do whatever's possible for an average simple person to do
I mean I'm a woman so I don't exactly know either but if someone says something sexist call them out for it. Like for example if someone laughs at a man for being emotional tell them to shut up and stuff.
Or ask ur male friends if they are okay and that they can talk to you. Basically make sure they feel like they are in a safe space with you (I mean you should do that with ur friends in general but from what I hear some men don't have as many people they can open up to as some women have)
be a friend to your male friend in need, show them that you are there to support, encouragement and help them when in need, but, dont force it
best i can do for now
I don't quite know I just try to treat them with respect and try to be a role model to them when they're down
Thanks guys.
Also I do like the whole thing with male friends but... Idk if I wanna ONLY help out friends? I feel bad about how widespread it is...
But, what can you do I guess...
Men out there, keep your head up. Do what you love. Love yourself. Nice shirt.
Compliments. Definitely compliments. It really sticks with us when a woman compliments us on something.
If hes wearing nice shoes or a shirt, compliment.
If he has a beard, say he looks "rugged" or like Chuck Norris.
Clean shaven? He's "sleek" or "sophisticated"
I know a man who, when he recieved a compliment from a woman about his shirt, wore nothing but those types of shirts for YEARS.
It let's us know we are doing something right and that we matter to someone. Even if that someone we may never meet again.
