I'll give you two reasons 1 - When you start dating you start a commitment with a person. You do not stop being attracted to other people. 2 - A bad idea, when repeated often, starts looking like a good idea. So even if a person doesn't hook with the first hot person in front of them, if the person has been tempted ( on its own, i'm not even blaming the third party here ) or thinking about if for a couple weeks or months, they might end up thinking " oh just once shouldn't hurt . I mean, try not drinking any soda or drinking water for a month. Its easy alright. But you'll be a liar if you say you never craved or considered at least a little bit to cheat on the challenge. Or that you wont spend more than a couple of days regreting to face the challenge in the first place. Its the same process, but Its with a person so the result is way worse. I'll give you two reasons
1 - When you start dating you start a commitment with a person. You do not stop being attracted to other people.
2 - A bad idea, when repeated often, starts looking like a good idea.
So even if a person doesn't hook with the first hot person in front of them, if the person has been tempted ( on its own, i'm not even blaming the third party here ) or thinking about if for a couple weeks or months, they might end up thinking " oh just once shouldn't hurt .
I mean, try not drinking any soda or drinking water for a month. Its easy alright.
But you'll be a liar if you say you never craved or considered at least a little bit to cheat on the challenge. Or that you wont spend more than a couple of days regreting to face the challenge in the first place.
Its the same process, but Its with a person so the result is way worse.
Its not ( in my opinion ) as much as a problem of character, than it is a problem of self control.
