    Should be titled "The Greatest 880 Porting Video On UA-cam" 🏆.
    Nice job on the video and the work.
    Have a great day Joe.

    I had a wire wheel blow apart and stapled my eyelid to my eyeball with over 40 wires. The eye dr worked on saving my eye every day for 2 weeks. They used a giant magnet to help pull the wires to the surface so the could get ahold of them. God and the great dr saved my eye. That was 20 years ago and i cant stress enough the importance of eye protection. I too mess with saws but only as a hobby. Thanks for the videos and the products ive gotten from you

    Very nice video; I have the cheap'o 90deg handpiece; trying doing uppers with one of them on a 45mm bore is like trying to parallel-park a Cadillac in a dog house!! Thanks for the look-see!!

      A good set of riffler files and precision needle files are an oft overlooked option for doing precision port work … For the transfers you can spot heat the file and bend into whatever angle you want. Yes , they are much much slower than a right angle piece but there is no disputing their effectiveness. IF your porting for $$$ , one slip of the tool can turn a profitable job into a net loss - especially if you look at the cost of oem cylinders 😊

    Hey Joe. I do all my smaller upper transfer ports with a cutter wheel or end cut burr on a straight hand peice. That allows me the option to easily change the port entry angle in the roof, keep them flat and remove material slowly without using a dental head sizes hand peice. Had to learn that long ago decades before I could afford a right angle hand peice. Cutting down the shanks shorter also makes things easier for certain jobs. Less chatter and no reversed cutters are needed.

    Yep was grinding a dyno cam on the intake lobe to clear the crankshaft of a predator 212 because the rod hit in-between the lobes and hit the side of the intake lobe so here I was 19 years old grinding with no kind of glasses or goggles on sure enough 5 pieces in beded into my right eye took me a week to realize it was in beaded in my eyeball. Definitely will say a high carbon steel doesn't feel to good in the eye lol. Did I learn the hard way yes will a guy do it again nope nope he won't. Interesting video brother looking forward to some new content 😎

    I think some of You tubers/saw builders should get together and come up with a CNC power saw cylinder and piston company and with digitalization you could have different levels of porting and use proven dyno designs like after market auto companies like AFR, and Brodex do. They build CNC ported heads for different applications and power levels street strip ect ect. You could have work saw porting, Hot work saw/ race and full blown race and different fuel set up kits with pistons already machined. With all of your hand ported and like Iron horse type digitized cylinder designs could make some serious money but would take a lot to get up and running.

    • @dynojoemods2764
      @dynojoemods2764  2 місяці тому

      Things change so fast and it is tough to compete with the Aftermarket items/prices on scale.
      That would be a sweet idea. And a few companies are going that route with the cnc porting.

    • @kenmoule825
      @kenmoule825 2 місяці тому

      Tin Pony is a fool, imho. He knows little about engines, period. That said, how will you control heat on the tool burr? CNC is set to cut fast. If you try that on cylinder plating, good luck without coolant. You will soon find it is very expensive too. The crossection area isn't available in stock cast heads to run or cut race sized ports. It's just not that simple. These are not billet blanks. These are high silicon castings with metallic plating bonded to them. Heat from tools can and will pop the plating. You would know that if you ground on it fast enough with any rough cut burr or alumahogs near the port windows.
