That looks delicious and so pretty. I am reminded of when I was at a friends house with several other dinner guests. She had a lovely cauliflower from her garden cooked whole. When they cut into it at the table there was a huge critter in the middle! 😮😅. Lots of eeks around the table 😅

@@josie9583 it was a dark beetle of some sort. But as the cruciferous veggies attract caterpillars it’s not surprising to come accross bugs, especially when you just pulled it out of the garden. I’m still going to fearlessly 😀try the recipe though - we eat a lot of cauliflower, they are always bug free.
Oh my goodness, how scary (at least for someone like me who hates bugs)! I wonder how it got inside without any noticeable holes on the outside! And this is why I don't have a garden, haha -- love garden fresh veggies but the idea of something like this happening is terrifying...

I absolutely love cauliflower and ty for this recipe...I have to ask and sorry but I hear an accent and wondered where it come from
I don't have a dutch oven. Is there another way to roast the cauliflower whole? It looks wonderful!
You could try a large pot with a lid. The cook time might vary.
Can u make this in crock pot?
Probably, but I haven't tested it to give any recommendations on how to modify it for the Crock Pot. You'd still probably want to brown it in the oven at the end.
I can see melted cheese drizzled all over it after you’ve put it on the plate. There’s never too much cheese in my opinion

No, you don't have to boil it first for this recipe.
Either the amount of olive oil you’re using is way more than 1/3 cup or that head of cauliflower is very small. 😑 Mine is in the oven right now and there wasn’t nearly enough to cover the entire head.
Mine was about average size, but you can increase the amount of oil and seasonings if yours is larger.
You don't need to chop off the leaves 🤷
Feel free to leave them on if you like :)
