      Coliflower steak is so delicious.
Just take one coliflower and add loads amd loads of butter, oil, salt, nuts, lemon, and herbs. Add whatever is in your fridge and pantry, chop it up and you have a delicious coliflower steak. You will forget you even added coliflower.

If you're careful you can get two "steaks" out of the cauliflower.
We've been making cauliflower "steaks" at our home for at least a decade, we just cover each steak with olive oil and then salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Then we grill it briefly to get grill marks and then move it off direct heat until it softens. The entire family loves it! I'm going to give Gordon's recipe a try as the ingredients are really interesting.

Put in the pre-heated oven at 375 F for 30 minutes, remove the foil and cook for another hour. The best bit is the bottom of the cauliflower where it is super brown and crispy from the cast iron.

To elevate this Gordon's idea just melt the butter in a pan or use Ghee and on a small fire (not to overburn the butter) roast the bay leafs and garlic. Feell free to add some garam masala or ras el hanout. Remove the bay leaf and garlic and then roast the cauliflower with himalayan salt and freshly ground mixed peppers. For an extra kick add a habanero pepper or two and at the end add lime juice.

Sounds clever but olive oil and “vegetable” oils (actually grain oils) are very different beasts.
Many of the longest living populations on the planet consume copious amounts of olive oil daily.
Like butter, It’s not great for high heat though.
They don’t need masters degrees in nutrition and dietetics to know that.

A little of this a smidgeon of that a pinch of salt and pepper garlic . lemon and so on,,,,,, then Salsa Verde,,,, then plate Verde and present with 1 minute left and then some. Soya sauce smidge added makes it color similar to a steak in fact some people thought it was steak. What an honor to have Gordon Ramsey make one. Butter is so expensive and olive oil really helps to saute the steak. Plated it looks like steak!
