Ha Ha! Love em! My biggest obstacle will be getting a decent taper to start with. I have the same problem when doing the Christmas trees…….takes me for ever and even then I make do with what I end up with. Thanks Andy. Cheers, Rick

The secret is to position the tool rest at the angle that you want it to taper...
Then hold the tool with a finger behind the rest, work it down and you will get the same angle on the piece ...it just takes a little practice... honest... Haha..

@@AndysCornishCreations You just might lose that bet. Our area is expected to win the west coast storm track lottery again this year. Oregon won it along with us last winter, but British Columbia got it all summer. And that left us super dry after a very wet spring. As to the “to-do” list? Afraid mine is “wish list” until left wrist is out of the brace and docs say I can start living a life again. End of year, if lucky (thumb tendon). Sigh. But it does give me lots of UA-cam time!!! So it falls on you to keep populating the world with gonks!😜😵💫😅

I cheated on this video a little I'm afraid... it is one of my old videos that has been doing rather well recently so I thought that I would make a shorter version of it to cater for all those people out there who have the attention span of a goldfish... Haha...

Wow a hairdresser in his seventies... impressive... did he cut your hair when you were young...
I remember my Dad taking me to our local barbers and it also doubled as a fishing tackle shop..
So half way through cutting my hair someone would come into the shop and he would stop and serve them with fishing tackle and maggots, then come back and carry on cutting my hair... no hand washing by the way...
I don't know where this weekend went...

Which means he's got Norman, Viking, French, German, and every diverse culture since those days... inside him...
The hair is from Ebay... type .. long haired faux fur - black frost ..
