Yes to act the prize, too many older guys just assume younger good looking women would not like them (unless they spend all kinds of money on them). If you are older, you should think you deserve it and she deserves you. Too many older guys fall all over and simp for them, and then you reap what you sow, as the girls just think you are a chump. 2. Try to get caught up as possible with some music, computers, internet, social media, movies and pop culture things going on now. That is what you did when you were young, and if single you need to get up to speed. It makes you seem youthful and not some old fogie. However, some ignorance with things younger people do is okay. It can be cute IF you are self deprecating about it. 3. The main thing you have going for you is experience, so you should be confident and display competence when talking about your life and job (especially if she works in your field). Younger guys freak out and have no confidence. You should be unaffected by things. It displays strength. 4.Be worldly. You probably traveled and seen things, been to cool concerts, restaurants and such. Do not be afraid to show that. With older guys, you can get away with talking about that without being a humblebrag like it would with younger guys. Also shows you have value. 5. Avoid- "Get off my lawn" type rants, saying things "were better when I was young", excessively talking about "cool" things when you were young. If she asks specific things then answer but many older people do this all the time and it dates you terribly and reinforces that you are older than her. However, I took this point as a way to realise that women are not a scarce commodity - thus it makes you feel less needy when you chat and meet them. Some of mine as an older guy talking to other women:
1. Yes to act the prize, too many older guys just assume younger good looking women would not like them (unless they spend all kinds of money on them). If you are older, you should think you deserve it and she deserves you. Too many older guys fall all over and simp for them, and then you reap what you sow, as the girls just think you are a chump.
2. Try to get caught up as possible with some music, computers, internet, social media, movies and pop culture things going on now. That is what you did when you were young, and if single you need to get up to speed. It makes you seem youthful and not some old fogie. However, some ignorance with things younger people do is okay. It can be cute IF you are self deprecating about it.
3. The main thing you have going for you is experience, so you should be confident and display competence when talking about your life and job (especially if she works in your field). Younger guys freak out and have no confidence. You should be unaffected by things. It displays strength.
4.Be worldly. You probably traveled and seen things, been to cool concerts, restaurants and such. Do not be afraid to show that. With older guys, you can get away with talking about that without being a humblebrag like it would with younger guys. Also shows you have value.
5. Avoid- "Get off my lawn" type rants, saying things "were better when I was young", excessively talking about "cool" things when you were young. If she asks specific things then answer but many older people do this all the time and it dates you terribly and reinforces that you are older than her. No one wants to hear how much you liked "Cheers" when you were young and they do not make shows like that anymore. Unless younger people ask "what did you watch when young", try not to be Mr. Nostalgia guy.
6. Love the be youthful. Lot of younger people will think being with you is boring. You do not need to be going to clubs like you re 21, but travel, show you are up for going out to restaurants, concerts and doing cool things. Plus, you should have the money to do them too, so it is attractive to women. If she thinks your day is going home staring at the TV watching Law & Order reruns, she will not be attracted at all unless she is some super homebody type, and no, do not think she is.

Can you do this at work? I work as a security officer at the front desk of an office building. I am constantly trying to determine who is into me and who isn't. Here is my problem with dating apps: most of the women are mediocre, and at 50, while I have no difficulty pulling matches if I put in a little effort, the juice is not worth the squeeze, even if they are younger, and they all act super entitled to a perfect man. Meanwhile, I can go out to a bar or club, and hot, college age women fawn over me. Just like in sales, there is no substitute for IRL.
