Thank you for the info on the harmonics... I just changed strings on my fretted CBG and there is not enough movement in the anchored saddled to adjust the harmonics. 12th fret “G” harmonic is now the 13th.

Acquired a 3 string CBG locally and haven't had so much fun since receiving my first guitar for Christmas in 1966 - a Harmony Rocket. Depends on how aggressive you stretch them... these were tuned and left alone for three days and were still stretching when I started playing aggressively... but after about an hour of jamming they settled down... the wood also responds to being under stress...

Lovely stuff, Del! You have both the Roland Micro Cube and the VOX Micro5 Rhythm amps, and I notice that your Microcube that you are using for this demo has a much "rawer" and "deeper" sound than my Vox Mini 5 Rhythm amp! The wonderful grain on the neck is beautiful, and would be lost if you glued a slotted fretboard to it! (In that case, would you consider fretting the neck directly, without using a separate fretboard?). I still can't find a Slide which fits comfortably on my ring finger! They are either too long or too loose or too heavy. (The slides, not my fingers...LOL...). Take care, all!....😀...😀...!

I’ve built every which way... I let the materials and the box dictate to me how they want to be built... 😜
For people that don't have the "Del Puckett" ear, could you use a tuner to find the notes at 3, 5, 7, 9, 12th fret locations?
Nice channel, I have 4 or 5 cigar box, but some I think are too thin, what's the best measure for a box? Thanks in advanced ;)
What size zero fret are you using on the fretless?
Thin down some flat lacure and add some red tint.
help what are the measurements for those frets?
25 inch scale...length from nut to saddle...
