"I would recognize that voice in the middle of the Sahara Desert." Way to go, Patrick! Jeez, Brent just loves aggravating him, yet Patrick always takes him on.
I'm watching TNG all of the way through on Netflix. I have to say that Brent Spiner is one of the best actors to have a regular role on any Star Trek show... ever. He's so versatile. He plays his father and brother in the show. They are so different, it's astonishing.

I saw Brent Spiner on stage at a com in Denver in the late 1980s or early 1990s. There were fans lined up on stage left and right to take turns asking him questions. When it was stage left's turn to ask, he turned, and the girl standing ready with her question was wearing her hair in a two-foot tall multicolored mohawk. His stunned, silent reaction was priceless. The audience erupted in applause while he was trying to recompose himself.
Nice of Patrick to tell the audience who Brent was for anyone who didn't recognise him. Patrick has the luxury of looking basically exactly the same as he did on the show, being distinctively bald and his voice sounding the same.
😊☺ Brent Spiner tapped into a voice I haven't heard in a long time. This was close to the voice that started it all for him before Data. He played a poor farmer, selling stuff in the cafeteria, on Night Court. I so enjoy seeing celebrities have fun interacting with fans. Nowadays more so then not, the celebrities act like they don't want to be there.
I remember having a major crush on Brent Spiner ..when I saw night court one time...his name came out in the credits...I was all wow...I had no idea who he played until I saw him again on it.. and saw the character...Bob wheeler.. lol.
Is that the voice he's using? Cause Data didn't have this high pitched nasal voice, just confused me. I don't remember that episode, haven't watched night court, since it originally ran.
@@salvadordollyparton666 There are actually many episodes with the Bob Wheeler character and his wife. The things they say are the most absurd and hilarious in a very funny show.
Can one just imagine the behind-the-scenes shenanigans, that occurred behind the scenes of Star Trek Picard season 3, considering how long these people have known each other, and the type of friendship they have both on set and off?
Bob Saget...... As a kid back then TNG and Full House/America's Funniest Video's was the 3 shows I had to watch.... I think what drew me to Full House and TNG was both sets of casts really cared about each other on there show to give the family bond rather then just a job feel....
While I wish they could've gone to share a kind hug, I guess it just wasn't this time, although I've heard that Brent Spiner isn't fond of physical contact in general, so it was nothing personal. Very entertaining for him to say hello to his friend Patrick Stewart and exchange some comedic words for everyone's amusement. God bless them both for a wonderful friendship.
I met Mr. Spiner about 4 years ago. He was acting like an asshole, but admittedly it was the end of the con, and he had spent all day talking to complete nerds like me. I asked him what he was doing at the time (it was I think during the filming of Picard), and he got really pissed and said "WELL, Im HERE". I must give grace to my childhood hero. Lt Cmdr still put his arm around me and took a picture. Love you forever Brent.
He must have been having a bad day, because the two times I've met him at conventions he was an absolutely funny guy. The first time I was so excited I almost fainted (I'm told I went white as a sheet and stopped breathing for a few seconds; my mom got ready to catch me for fear I'd pass out). When he saw how nervous I was he began cracking jokes about how this always happens, yes its so great to meet him, and such, all in a very tongue-in-cheek manner until I started breathing again. The second time I met him I reminded him I was the girl who almost fainted and he was like "I remember you. How have you been?" and we just talked about life for a bit (turns out we went to the same high school, which was such a cool thing to learn). He's still one of my best convention meet-and-greets I've ever had.
