I had a co-worker who went through something similar, worse, it was at a KID'S birthday party! That's just sick! I wasn't there but hearing about it was horrifying to say the least. To make matters worse, my co-worker ended up pregnant and had to give the baby up for adoption, and all the while, she kept up a brave front, which was commendable, but I could tell it was taking a toll. I haven't seen her since the birth and hope all is well, plus I hope the kid never finds out how he was born.
Eh, I think Dr Charles is more often called in when someone is likely to have a mental health condition. In this case I think Natalie handled it correctly
when it happened to me i was under the influence of weed. i was 16 and the guy wouldn’t take no for an answer. i was so scared but i was sadly more scared of how angry my mom would react about the fact that i had done a drug so i never told her until i became an adult. parents i beg you to ensure your children trust you and know even if they were doing something they shouldn’t that you’ll be there for them in dangerous situations. i wasn’t able to call for help because i truly believed the anger from my mom would have been worse than what happened to me. nowadays we have a much healthier relationship and i now know my mom would absolutely have saved me but at the time my mom had broken my trust in several occasions to the point where i didn’t feel safe confiding in her or even really talking to her about my life at all.
Sadly it's most often someone you trust and know well. Usually someone you thought incapable of something like this. I don't have personal experience, it's just statistics. The entire "stranger danger" mentality opens up people to abuse from relatives and friends. No question; you need to be careful around strangers. But statistically, it's safer to be staying a night at a stranger's house than your own uncle's. This isn't supposed to mean you shouldn't trust anyone or always expect the worst. It just means you should be careful even around family and friends, and trust your guts when it comes to your own and your children's safety.
There are many cases where girls go with their friends and their friends aren’t worried about how they go home. It’s a sad cycle really. Your friends might not even be a good idea.

This does a great job of showing the trauma of such an experience. Natalie said she should tell her daughter what happened. So many years later, thinking about it still freaks her out. She was afraid to talk about it. It's kinda like what Zemo said to Bucky in Civil War: "You fear that if you open your mouth, the horrors might never stop."
People wonder why I watched my children so hard. This has happened to me a few times sadly throughout my childhood. I haven't made any videos on my channel about it. Something tells me I may soon. To make things worse, these bastards gossiped about me, spread lies and dirty slander which is why I completely stopped going for a walk, ruined my socialization - I thought everyone knew of my shame (I am from a small town) and felt nothing but disgust for me. But what's the worst is? When I told everything to my mother - when I was an adult already - she didn't believe me. And OFC no one was punished - and how would they? no proof but my words remained, - OFC I didn't tell anyone else. If my mother thought I was lying - who was gonna believe me? It was awful. It is still awful. Trust your children, please.

The loud music should be limited to the open space where visual supervision can suffice, whereas the private corners should be away from the noise and within hearing range of supervisors, so that if a kid makes a loud noise, they WILL be heard.
kids lie all the time. she could have told her mom that she was at a friend's house. I lied about going to one friends house when I was actually going to another's all the time. I never went to any parties, it was always just me and my 3 friends at their houses, but I still got away with it a lot. it's not always about "letting" your children go to parties

But in reality it just creates more problems and more issues. I think that these kind of show kind of show the reaility of life a bit, were a women can do some really crazy stuff, make things up, false claims, ruin men, ruins kids do whatever they want or feel like doing and will get zero to littlte punishment. Just the reaility of the world, of how easy it has gotten for women. The amount of rights and privilages they have is insane. I know because a lot of people for whom this happens to doesn’t want to go through the whole court process and specially this testing. It’s a huge trauma. Even more if you are forced.
I had a friend who couldn’t stop crying for like two days after her mom forced that on her. Got that guy in jail for 2 years, before they had another court process by the time she was 18 and refused to testify or go through the court again and just cut ties with her family. She’s living her life fine and well now.
All she wanted to do after that incident was get away from her mom. I remember her crying to me “he was someone I barely knew, why did SHE have to force and restrain me after knowing I’m destroyed down there” all she wanted to do was be away from all the attention and just live her life. I bet she didn’t hate him as much as she did for her mom.
