@@qloman22 I'm not educated on what the 2019+ Jettas have to terms of upgrades. Do some google searching, you'll find stuff. I know theres an open intake for the mk7s and a cheap 'race' chip that kicks it a little

Yeah I'm a local, nice eye. The only shop I hear nothing but good things about is Velocity Factor in Boca.... but the thing is, they're expensive. A lot of people go to miami for tunes but I don't personally have any recommendations. I know a good tuner on instagram.

They make a stage 2 for the 1.4t but no stage 1 or 2 for Gen3 1.8t motors
No unfortunately, Unitronic decided not to because of reliability. Get a custom 1.8T tune from a good local tuner . I know a few 1.8s with good custom tunes . They sound great too

@@MrSammyman1 that really depends on the tuner. Call a good local euro shop in your area. I believe they’re required by law to give you a free quote. Or at least they are in Florida. It’ll range from 400-1500$
Hello! Love the car and the sound. I have a quick question! I have a 2016 1.8 Jetta sport and I just got my unitronic downpipe and I was thinking about getting the awe catback possibly the track. Do I need anything in specific to ensure they fit??
They both fit into the OEM exhaust sleeve. Therefore, you don't need anything else. They come with everything you need. But..... the oem exhaust sleeve sucks . If you plan on keeping the car then go to a shop who can make them fit together without the restrictive sleeve. If you plan on going back to stock to trade in or sell etc then keep the sleeve. I am here if there are anymore questions! The 1.8Ts sound sick! I raced on the other day and it sound insane. He was straight piped tho lol

It's in the description I believe, but it's a Unitronic downpipe + awe touring catback exhaust . The exhaust sleeve is still in there, I will delete it soon. So it should sound better

Very late. But do you remember how much you paid for the downpipe? Unitronic is having a “sale” but I’m suspicious that they jacked up the price to make it seem like a sale. It’s currently 769.99 but I feel like I remember it being 649.99 no too long ago
Well u have to remember the world we live in now. Everything is inflated due to the all of the combined circumstances. I paid $629.99 .

Can I get LED headlight bulbs installed even with stock headlights and if so where?
yeah they're just bulbs. I have like two other videos about LED daytime running lights, turn signals, and I think headlights too. Check the other videos should help. If not, let me know
ua-cam.com/video/MmLkfOT1ork/v-deo.html . IF you have the halogen day time running light. You would basically do this to the daytime running light bulb. Same process for both the running light bulb and turn signal.

@@VDubGLI thank you! I decided to make it even better by updating the whole assembly. I got the 2017+ headlights that have the LED drl strip that goes around the headlight. It kind of looks like the supra drl's. I made a video for that too if you want to see what i mean, it was a game changer! have a good night

Quick question, I know with the stage 2 it’s recommended to have a downpipe.. but what happens if you run the tune stock?
Like stock tune with an aftermarket downpipe? You’ll just get a check engine light and the car will probably run weird. But it depends

@@kylierheannon4777 yeah the tune depends on the downpipe. Your turbo cant make as much boost without a proper downpipe

Chris, I'm going to a muffler shop next week. You recommend deleting the resonator, and changing out the rear muffler to my choice of brand? Correct?....I really like the tone of your car..
Well , take into consideration on what might come in the future . If you are going to do a downpipe or not. Deleting the res and getting a good muffler is a good idea . I haven’t personally tried it. Some guys on the forums have tho . Double check with them too

No they're aftermarket, they're an oem style kit. I installed them myself
MK6CHRIS Damn wish you had recorded the installation. I have a 1.4T as well, I bought the fog lights by themselves but idk if I need to also buy a mounting bracket or something, I've never taken the from bumper off so idk what im gonna need
@@angeloj.6460 You'll most likely need the brackets. I did. The install is super easy but the wiring was a little tricky. You'll save money if u install and let some custom shop wire it up for you. I have videos on my channel of me taking my bumper off. It's super easy. Just need a t25 drive
Question when getting my car tuned what am I looking for as I’m upgrades and performance wise like what do I want with my tune I recently downpiped my exhaust and am looking to get a cts intake with a tune on my turbo
Well a "tune" is just recalibrating the Engine Control Module. So you can tune a car do be more efficient or to make more power. You said it yourself " what do I want with my tune" ... well what do you want? More power? More torque? Better fuel economy? . You can make it super easy and pick what you want and then get a tune from a reliable company.
I have a 1.4 Jetta too and would like to get a down pipe with a high flow cat. Where did you get yours?!
Unitronic! If you plan on doing it yourself, its an easy install. If not, opt for the cheaper option, CTS

@@WestSideKillas You will probably need too. If not right away.... soon. The downpipe really gives the car its tone. You can really hear what it actually sounds like. Stage 2 is so fun

How much power/tq is this putting out after everything is said done?
I'm not down yet but my unitronic stage 2 review has some accurate numbers in there but I estimate 210hp and 277wtq. I got more mods to go, probably meth and hybrid
Currently have a full CTS turbo back exhaust and was just looking into getting the AWE track exhaust. Would I just be replacing everything from the downpipe back? I’ve never really done exhaust stuff. Since I bought the CTS exhaust I guess it’s obvious it came with the 3” downpipe. Will that be okay? Am I all groovy or do I need to order anything else to make sure it’s a guaranteed fit and guaranteed working exhaust?
If it matters, it’s a 2.0T Unitronic Stage 2.
Bonus question: I did H&R super sports a month or two ago and just recently started getting a knock when turning and when going over any bumpy surface at a slow speed. Any idea what I should be checking first?
The awe exhaust replaced everything from the downpipe back. U can run a 3in downpipe with the 2.5 inch awe exhaust if u want. It will be ok. They come with an adapter. If it still doesn't fit u can find one at the local auto store.
The H&R issues could be that the top of the strut is loose. Or u are hitting the fender liner. IF it's not one of those. IDK

Extra loud? Not necessarily. But I could be biased because I have had it for over a year
@@MK6CHRIS good cuz I've decided to get the conversion kit from track to touring. This way I can bring down the sound and stil keep my downpipe and go stage 2 👍

hey man nice ride!!! i have a 2016 tsi and my check engine light came on. i went to autoson and they told me that the car needed new sparks and coils. i changed both but the engine light still on. do you have an opinion on what could be wrong?
Thank you friend! Before going to a shop I always recommend you buy that 70$ scanner/coder from ecstuning , it's call OBDII . That will tell you exactly what it is and how to fix it.

@@elpapisonongopr3338 the scanner will tell you what is wrong and then you can fix the actual problem. You can also clear the code and the check engine light will turn off. Quite convenient, I do it often

What about the clutch ? Does it fry it?
Most all clutches go bad with a stage 2 tune . Especially if the torque is significantly higher than stock. You can baby it and make it last longer but you won’t be able to use all the power
Did your fogs come in a kit? If so, can you let me know what they are, I want to put fogs on mine, thanks.
They were a kit from ecstuning . I installed them myself and got them wired by a shop

@@CtrlAltMoto oh yeah, get a EURO switch. Best thing ever. It doesn’t do much but it’s the little things that make the biggest difference .

Alright Im going to bother you one more time. Do you think your stage 2 was worth it? Like for the $$ put into go stage 2 do you think you got enough performance out of it? would you say the car really feels fast now or is it still more of a not fast but not slow. Im just in between stage 1+ and 2. 1+ is just an intake so that's easy but its like 20 less hp and torque. Just cant seem to figure out if that difference of 20hp is worth an extra 1500$ basically.
You’re not bothering me. I enjoy it . Honestly if it’s going to be your car for the next couple of years , it’s worth it. If you’re just going to get another car in less than a year, not worth it. I plan on keeping this car for a couple of years then get my 2019 6mt Golf R . Then this car will be the daily or something . So long term worth it. I got a full review about this coming soon. Lmk if you need anything
@@MK6CHRIS Alright, I'll keep an eye out for your next video. Just crazy to me that it's this hard to find people stage 2 on a 1.4. When you post that video if you could give any kind of acceleration clip it would help a lot. The numbers on stage 2 are healthy it's just a matter of seeing the speed vs reading the numbers. Whether it's a 0-40,0-60,0-80 it doesn't matter but it would be really appreciated. Thank you

After those two videos , I will have a full comprehensive review of stage 2. You’ll find helpful information there and in the e85 one. I’m getting a traction control switch too for a better break representation of the times

Javier Hernandez you can buy octane booster from gas station I believe . Or you can be really crazy and put in 1 gallon of e85. But for legal purposes I highly advise you NOT to do either one of those . Just get stage 1+ or custom tune
Also 91 will really ruin and make that tune pointless !!

Does stage 2 come with pops n bangs? Mine fully straight piped pops here n there when i down shift but will it increase with the tune?
There’s times that specifically give you more pops and bangs because the tune dumps fuel. However , for my car and tune specifically, this doesn’t happen the car does it naturally do to the turbo . So if it pops and bangs stock it will do it more and louder with the tune . Mine pops and burbles are quiet because I have a muffler
@@MK6CHRIS quick tip, i have a stage 1+ 1.4t, cut off resonator muffle AND a cat and i get pops on demand when driving with the shifter, also no lag so car takes off quick. I accelerate a bit fast and manually Shift at around 4,000 rpm and get a couple 2 or 3 quick bangs. hopefully y’all get them too! i get compliments on them🙏🏼
btw! they’re not the LOUD loud gunshot bangs but it’s something. makes me smile everytime especially under the highway or in tunnels😎

MK6CHRIS gotchu yeah i just got my stage 2 im fully staright piped was a little over 1000 thousand rpm in 3rd costing n it was lettin off some loud pops for like a quarter mile then i was tryna do it again n it wouldnt i feel like it does it when it wants to lol but they were suprisingly loud

Does the intake alone make the turbo louder or does the downpipe make it louder, which one you recommend?
The intake does make the turbo louder and so does the downpipe. What car do u have? I can make my recommendations afterwards. Every car is different
