Got a big screen Android deck in my MK6 with cameras, GPS, TPMS, and full obd2 software for on the fly tuning all ran through the deck. I highly recommend!!! so many possibilities

@@MK6CHRIS theres a whole bunch of them on ebay made to fit the jetta perfect and work with wheel controls even tell you witch door is open. check for them bro its a must. get one with an octo core cpu though an 4gb+ ram so its nice and fast.. I bought the obd2, tpms, and cameras separate
I had installed the lower dogbone mount from 034 motorsport for 2 years and now have the upper insert. I'm honestly amazed how much better the car drives with the complete kit.
Idk if it's necessary on an automatic, but it's a must have for manuals.
I want to get those mounts/inserts but I really don't want to keep spending money lol . But you're right, it's more beneficial on manuals than the autos. It would def help with my launches tho

@@MK6CHRIS Well I drive it pretty hard so usually about 7 L/ 100 km combined. If I drove Like an old Man, it would be about 5.5 - 6L/ 100 km. Its got a Malone stage 2 .. around 165 hp and 275 torque. It's fun to drive

Love the car. Newbie here.. wanting to get a MK6 GLI and have it stage 1 tuned. What octane fuel would I have to run in that? Also any recommended performance mods to go alone with the tune?
I got u. I would say exhaust or intake/turbo inlet. You would need whatever fuel the tune requires, probably 91/93 oct
Depends on whether you go apr. Apr you can do an 87 tune. I'm going stage 1 possibly next year and it will be 87. Once I go stage 2 obviously I'll have to go to 93 but I'm only tuning it for the throttle response and more pep
Just saw your newest video, you can hear a lot of “turbo noises” is all of that due to the Cold Air Intake, no diverter valve spacer or anything?

I got a 2016 and I did tinted windows, aftermarket rims, aftermarket headlights, smoked tail lights, custom exhaust of course new sound system lol. But what would you recommend as next upgrades? I never thought of coil pack but I’m thinking big bore would be good. Also was thinking about abs oil catch can. Slowly doing upgrades. Almost got it paid off!
you looked into tubing at all? i have a 2016 1.4t and i’m on stage 2 unitronic right now it it definitely makes a hugeeeee difference
@@jaxonbutters1243 yes I was debating to do stage 2. Waiting till I have enough for tune and downpipe. Got to travel about 3.5 hour to closest shop that can do it. Looking for something cheaper to do in the meantime.

hello! I'm not sure if it'll fit since in the US we don't have twin charged jettas. So I think your exhaust set up might be different. U can always have a exhaust shop make u a custom downpipe. My car is NOT twin charged and my stock car makes 150hp
Out of curiosity, since I have already installed mine.. I bought the EXS tuning turbo outlet pipe. Why do you say I shouldn’t have it? I’ve noticed a difference in how the car feels at higher speeds and such, what’s wrong with it? I’m in a 2020 MK7 1.4T Jetta S
The charge pipe u are referring to right? Charge pipes on these cars create a lot more lag down low and like 2 more hp up top. Not worth it in my opinion . Lag between gears and from a start is not worth it

Very new to modding (and cars in general), probably too late to the party for a reply. Guessing the intake system and cat back system won't be compatible with a 2012 2.0L base model? Based of fitments on unitronic and such I take it you have a turbo. Again could be asking stupid questions since im very new haha

because the forge charge pipe creates more lag and has zero benefit. My intake is louder than it too

Hey man! I have a 2016 VW Jetta SE & the fan sounds extremely loud when I turn the car on & the fan stays running on high.. any tips to fix ?
the fans? Like the ones in front of the engine used for cooling? That is auto regulated so that means your car is running hot and/or you use the a/c a lot . Basically you can't do anything about it . If you're low on coolant or your cooling system is dirty than you can fix that

Hey I know I'm late but love(d?) the build. I was wondering where'd you get the black thing on the exterior of the headlights. Did it come with the headlights or you added it? and does it completely hide the front blinker?
I literally cut it myself, it’s just wrap /vinyl. It doesn’t hide the blinker, the only purpose is to hide the amber reflector

@@antoinefbm the laminx is for the fog lights. The black wrap / vinyl was just cut by hand. I just bought 10 feet of wrap to play with . It was cheap. The sun visor was installed by a shop for $50 at a local tint place

Hey know I’m late but just recently got a 1.4S auto and just wondering why u said to not do a larger charge pipe and with the being said would u recommend the ecs tuning silicone turbo outlet hose?
Larger charge pipes would result in more lag from the turbo . Would only be beneficial if you live in a colder area and have an upgraded intake and downpipe. Obviously tuned too.

And another question. In russia your boost figures are critical + our boost gauge max numbers are 1.59 bar ~ 23psi. Your pressure are 25-27psi. Our turbos (czda, czea, chpa) are exploding near 22-23psi. How it works?)

Why would you advise against a bigger chargepipe?
because we aren't flowing enough air to justify the bigger charge pipes. Bigger charge pipes means more lag if u dont have the extra air velocity

Most of the mods should fit just depends on the engine configuration because sometimes the layout of the intake side of things is different
Installed unitronic stage 2 and now blinkers, steering wheel controls, and climate controls don't work.
Have u figured out why? The stuff isn’t really associated with an engine tune. I didn’t have the issue. What happens when you flash tune back to stock map?

Yeah they have oem brackets u can buy. They don’t cost much . Literally oem fitment . Untrained eye would assume they’re stock

CTS catless is cheaper. If you ever change your mind though, just look into purchasing a high flow cat for the midpipe. It cuts back on the scent or sound if you wanna change that without negatively impacting performance really.

Can I fit the gli honeycomb grills onto a standard bumper or do I need to buy the whole gli front bumper for them
as shown in my video , i have a gli grille on a base model bumper. I have a video on the grille on the channel. The lower honey comb part is not exchangeable

Wait till you have enough money to spend on a decent one. Don’t go for the cheapest but you also don’t need the most expensive
I would recommend u check for used intakes. Those are normally really cheap . Maybe IE ?

U can put a yellow bulb OR get some yellow headlight film . I personally did both

any half decent exhaust shop will be able to make one or u can find them only but u need to figure out the size u need.

Nope mine came from the factory with a turbo. Those 2.5L can be turbo'ed but it's tough to tune

That bulb out light on the dash would come on and off periodically. I now use leds for damn near every light except the headlights. Now the bulb out light never comes on…
u can get rid of it with some resistors or like obd11 coding

No, the ecu adjusts parameters automatically. I have an turbo back exhaust on my Evo without a tune for 13 years no problems.
@@valiantone395 is right. However there is always a small chance of running lean or something when u do pulls with a stock ecu file with a downpipe. The car does want to protect itself tho, normally fine

@@jaxonbutters1243 I'm not sure how a custom one would leak less than the oem one? That means the OEM has to be straight trash lol. Just don't forget a bigger charge pipe means more lag and loss of pressure sometimes. Our car's can't flow enough to need them or to have them make a difference.
@@jaxonbutters1243 you’re unaware because you aren’t familiar with turbocharger components and theory, but to answer your question the way you worded it, if want to “more boost” either use tuning software, get a different wastegate spring, or buy a manual boost controller.
