Does this gentleman have a channel? If not he should! Idk what he does for a living or for fun but I feel like he teaches 18th century history. Whatever the topic I'd love listening to more from him!
This gentleman is what I aspire to be when I’m older. I’m now just an almost 30 year old guy with a young career and huge interest in shoes, especially boots. I want to grow old doing my best and accompanied by amazing boots, and at the end of the day will brag and make my kids or maybe grandkids bored with everything about boots. Particularly how I spent a lot of time in my youth (you know the back in my day stuff of talks) watching your video. Thanks a lot for another amazing video, can’t wait to have my very first shell cordovan boots one day!
The boots look great, guys. And Kennard was a nice touch. He clearly knows shoes and appreciates the expertise you offer. He’s also not a novice in front of a camera. My guess is he’s been in front of one often. Excellent job! Take care.
Thank you! Yeah, we definitely weren’t expecting a reaction video so well done. Kenard definitely knows his shoes and did a great job. Glad he likes them!
Wow! This took an all new turn in shoe cobbling that I personally have never seen before. It's very apparent that you're business is not only expanding but growing in popularity with all the bells and whistles added to your videos. Well done fellas. I hope you employ help real soon. You're going to need it my friends
So many choice elements in this video. The care, respect and craftsmanship of the repair. And the complete appreciation from the customer. It was so satisfying to watch. Well done! I just hope when the time comes for mine to be cared for they receive this level of attention.
Great recrafting. Trenton & Heath are nailing it! (pardon the pun :) Mr. Cannard is a man after my own heart. I didn't think there were other people out there like me who appreciate all the details behind a boot's materials and construction. I'm sure Mr. Cannard and I could talk for hours about our boots and shoes. LOL. I really enjoyed this video. Thanks T & H for all your work.
Being a boot guy and having watched a ton of your videos, its awesome to see the customer reaction. Id love to see more like this :) amazing work guys.
Great vid! Just catching this now - 10 months after it was posted. Always enjoy your boot restorations, but this was special to see the added video of the customer unboxing his beloved, restored boots.
WOW! Im more happy seeing the Mr. Canards reaction! This man truly knows and appreciates what he has and the work that has been done. You can tell he will be enjoying these for many many years and will take GREAT care of them. Awesome!!
I love my shell cordovan shoes. Shell cordovan boots would be a real luxury! Great work guys, and many thanks to the owner of these gorgeous boots for sharing the unboxing with us!
This was very satisfying to watch, I only own two pairs of leather shoes, some ballet flats and some sneakers but I try my best to take care of them. The best part was seeing the customers reaction at the end.
Great improvement to a great looking pair of boots. Now they sport classy soles to match the classy looking uppers. The added design to the soles and the natural toned welt really pops. And even an unboxing and reaction epilogue as well! Gentlemen, an outstanding job. Happy weekend, mahalo! 🤙🥾
The shoes have so much charachter they made-m look amazing. I wouldnt want to damage them they look so nice, I would prefer to display them just to prevent ruining them. Potter & Sons are amazing service providers and craftsman, they also took care of some safari boots that my father left for me before he passed and they made them look really good. Cheers, Danny C.
I’ve read a couple times now on the internet that cordovan 1000 miles were actually made by Allen Edmonds. Like some sort of partnership with Wolverine. If that’s true, I find that very interesting. Also, this is my favorite resole/restoration video because of the customer reaction! The million dollar smiles at the end are priceless!
Don’t own any (as I call them) “fancy” shoes myself. I’m more of a work boot cowboy boots guy. However, I love watching people that are masters of their craft and y’all seem to be masters. I’ve learned a lot watching y’all. Y’all do amazing work! Love the videos. And the customer at the end unboxing was awesome! He really knew his shoes and was so genuinely excited to get them back. Y’all should do that on more videos. Y’all keep up the good work.
@@TheCourtanderson As someone in a related field, it might seem dumb or silly to wear PPE but when you do it 8hrs a day 7 days a week it really does help
Trenton and Heath, you are the absolute specialists. It's wonderful to watch you taking care of somebody else's footwear. I really enjoys watching your videos. Keep them rolling. Regards, Leon RSA
I have horween she'll cordovan watch straps from Germany, some of them are very old but SOOOOO nice. The leather is butter smooth and so suple but so resilient at the same time. Love a nice Shell. The boots are gorgeous
I LOVE this video. Fantastic work and delighted customer who knows the value of his boots and they way they have been cared for. Simply awesome. Great taste Sir.
This is easily my favorite shoe/boot I have seen you do a makeover on where you make slight adjustments but mostly clean and renew it. These are truly amazing
I love this new aproach! This gentleman giving his impressions on an outstanding resole and shoe maintenance Sure is an upbeat of excelent customer service!!! Kudos
Wow. Really wow. What a great pair of boots! I find your videos very relaxing. I’m lucky I got a pair of the standard style wolverines. Those boots are comfortable (I live in San Francisco and got stuck walking 2-3 miles home but I was in my wolverines so nary a blister!). I love your craftsman skills and artistry. I also loved your customer unboxing!
Wow, great job guys! This is also the first Wolverine 1000 Mile boots I've ever seen in shell cordovan leather! Great historical details from Mr Canard (hope I spelt it correctly) about the making of the JR Redenbach soles too!
Good morning guys. With the extra mile you go to on boots and shoes it was nice to finally get a reaction from a customer and these 1000 milers were beauties especially with the sole art. The boots appeared to have been pretty well taken care of initially. Generally you can tell if a man takes care of his footwear he probably takes care of other things he owns as well. BTW how many cans of cork do you guys go through in a month and can you get it only in quarts ? Have a great weekend : )
The customer is awesome too! Obviously knows his shoes well.
He is obviously a real connoisseur of fine shoes. Knows his stuff.
Keeping a guy that knowledgeable that happy is quite a compliment.
He was the icing on the cake!
So nice to see the reaction of the owner for a change. Really adds to the video!
Thanks! We may try to do this more often.

He needs a shoe "fireside chat" for all of us to learn about shoes!
Edited just in case he doesn’t want to be identified

What a wonderful, well dressed, “dapper” gentleman is the owner! It was an added pleasure to watch his reaction.

That reaction at the end was so wholesome
That gentleman at the end is straight class.
I love the noises of the Cobbler at work! I’m binge watching. 🎉
LOVE the addition of the customer at the end to put a face with the boot!
The cork molding is the most satisfying part.

The stamp on the leather is definitely a plus. Love it.
