Well said. Followers of Christ are to make disciples in His name, as He commanded, “...that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations…” (Luke 24:46-47). What is the revealed name of the Savior? Does it matter? The apostle Peter testified, “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). Historian Ernest Renan makes it clear that the Savior was never in His lifetime known as “Jesus” (Ernest Renan, The Life of Jesus, p. 90). So, what name did the apostle Peter testify to? Looking at a 1611 English Version of the Bible (KJV), we do not find the name Jesus (gee-sus), but we do find the name Iesus (ee-sus). Who authorized this name change from Iesus to Jesus? This means that the name Jesus in its present form has only existed since the 17th century! Where did the name Iesus come from? It came from the Greek name Iesous (ee-sous). Iesous is a transliteration of the Aramaic name Yeshua. It is time to face the facts. Christ was never known by, nor did the angel reveal, any of these names of Jesus, Iesus, and Iesous, thus making these names counterfeits because there can be “no other name given under heaven by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). What is the true name of salvation whereby we must be saved? The prophet Isaiah tells us, “Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; ‘For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation’” (Isaiah 12:2 NKJV). Did the Savior ever tell us that He is YAH, as in “the I AM” {HaYAH=the YAH}? “I AM” means YAH. The Savior told the people, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM” (John 8:58, I AM=YAH). He told them in Hebrew that He is YAH, and therefore, He is their God, and there is no other God, to the glory of His God and Father, Christ alone is our only God until all things are fulfilled (1 Corinthians 15:20-28). Where did the name YAH come from? “Then Moses said to God, ‘Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?’ And God said to Moses, ‘HaYAH Ashar HaYAH’ [“I AM WHO I AM”]. And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ Moreover God said to Moses, ‘Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations” (Exodus 3:13-15). It is said that God has many names, but this is not true. God has many titles, Emmanuel, Savior, and Redeemer, but only one essential name YAH. “And God spoke to Moses and said to him: ‘I am the Lord {YAH}. I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as EL SHADDAI, but by My name Lord {YAH} I was not known to them” (Exodus 6:2-3). Behold, the name which is above every name! The apostle Paul testifies to the name which is above every name (Philippians 2:9). “While thus occupied, as I journeyed to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests, at midday, O king, along the road I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, shining around me and those who journeyed with me. And when we all had fallen to the ground, I heard a voice speaking to me and saying in the Hebrew language, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’ So I said, ‘Who are You, Lord?’ And He said, ‘I am YAHSHUA, whom you are persecuting” (Acts 26:12-15). Does our Savior have “the name which is above every name”? The apostle Paul writes, “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of YAHSHUA, every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that YAHSHUA the Christ is LORD, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:9-11). The apostle Paul never heard of the names Jesus, Iesus, or Iesous, names that came sometime after the destruction of the Temple in 70 AD by the Romans. The apostle Paul, also named Saul of Tarsus, lived from c. 5 - c. 64/65 AD. Many who love the name “Jesus” have objected, saying, “I have seen miracles in the name of Jesus, and demons cast out in the name of Jesus!” They need to take this warning from the Savior, found in Matthew 7:21-23, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” Is doing the will of the Father something to be considered as “legalism”? It is not legalism to obey God unto salvation or be cast off as a worker of lawlessness. When God reveals His name, the very name of salvation, and one rejects the revelation of God, that one is practicing lawlessness and will be considered condemned. This is the essence of the Gospel, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:16-18). If one rejects the revealed name of YAHSHUA, that one stands condemned! In Matthew 4:4, we read, “But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’” When man makes doctrines outside of the revelation of God and establishes them as a doctrine of God, this is called “the Traditions of Men!” As it is written, “Then the Pharisees and scribes asked Him, ‘Why do Your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders…?” He answered and said to them, ‘Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men…and many other such things you do.’ He said to them, ‘All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition’” (Mark 7:5-9). Many have reasoned, that Christianity is the number one religion in all the world. They can’t all be wrong. Consider this: “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it” (Matthew 7:13-14). “‘And now, O priests [pastors, teachers, and evangelists], this commandment is for you. If you will not hear, and if you will not take it to heart, to give glory to My name,’ Says the Lord of hosts, ‘I will send a curse upon you, And I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have cursed them already, because you do not take it to heart” (Malachi 2:1-2).

This is a point I hate a lot how it’s supposed to be normalized that all men watch porn. It is one of the things that deeply bothers me in my spirit the idea that a man will get off to different porn videos everyday and then think I would want anything to do with them. And I’m supposed to just accept that. Because they’re men. NO. It bothers me to my CORE.

Porn is a horrible addiction to some. I was addicted to porn for 35 years and after a long time of prayers to God, I was given strength to stop. The way I was able to stop failing God and watching porn was when I learned that loving God more was the solution to my addiction. The more I love God, the less I love sin. That includes porn. I struggled with conquering this addiction for over a year, and so far, I have been blessed with the strength and love of God to help me stay free from this sin and this abomination to God.

Having actually grown up in this era (class of 2000) the “harms” of purity culture in the late 90s are exaggerated now. Most of it was just a well-meaning encouragement to be intentional in dating and not have casual sex. Don’t remember anyone saying you were valueless if you slipped up. Sex is very important to humans and to God and it matters that you do it right. This is a message we should send, and abstaining till marriage is something I’ll never regret. So I’m thankful for that encouragement from family and my church.

An article I read in Brio magazine as a young teen used the metaphor of a bracelet with gemstones on it. Each time you had sex you were giving away a gemstone, thereby making the bracelet (yourself) less valuable. I understand in hindsight that the writer was just trying to convey the importance of sex, and that it is a beautiful thing between man and wife, but I understand how the message could be wildly misconstrued.

nah, there are countless stories of people relaying how they were told they would be like a chewed up piece of gum or like a dirty oreo licked and then dropped on the floor if they slipped up, or with each time they slipped up. There's an interesting book called "Pure" by Linda Kay Klein who describes this stuff. I don't agree with where she ended up on her deconstruction journey, but I do agree with her portrayal of the purity movement. I know lots of people who were damaged by it.
I agree abstaining until marriage should be taught. There just needs to be a better way to teach it to young people.

Thank you for making this video. It is scientifically proven the damage that porn does to the brain affecting the rest of the body, behaviour and the way the person sees him/herself and sees others.
The first thing that shocked me coming out from the mouth of that man, was this combination of words when referring to porn viewers "...don't make great immoral sins...." something turned off in my brain the moment I heard him say that.
I personally believe that anything that has a high percentage to incite addiction cannot be called good if you let it control you... also, one of the fruits of the Spirit is self-control and that opposes addiction!
Sex is beautiful in the confines of a committed married couple, it symbolizes Christ and the church.... porn has nothing to do with any of what God created sex for. People are not like cars that you drive, just as sex is not something to be used with about anyone for any and all reasons, for the purpose of doing it!!
There are testimonies of ex porn stars that left and came to Christ, I don't remember the names, but surely an interview could be done so that young people get to hear, know the reality and the damaging effects this has on people in the industry and those who watch it.

I’m currently 18 and so thankful that I have been redeemed by my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ whenever I was around 14 or 15 I used to really struggle with masturbation (free for over a year at this point praise the Lord) never pornography, but masturbation and I would do research on it from a biblical perspective and when trying to do that videos of people similar to this guy would come up, trying to explain how it’s healthy and good sadly I was far more immature in my faith and did not discern that this was unbiblical and looking back. It breaks my heart that that that same things that used to burden me with addiction will now happen to other young men and women, and will be affirmed by people like this even though I grew up in a solid Christian home, and I excepted Christ longer ago than I can remember (personally can’t remember a definitive day that I got saved but I do know with 100% certainty that I am saved by Jesus) it is still so easy to get sucked into deception and sexual sin and I genuinely thought that I would probably never break free from it. Thankfully, God had other plans praise Jesus.

Excellent video as always Isaac! I noticed you mentioned that the bible says XYZ quite a bit in this video but you only mentioned 2 or 3 actual bible verses. I think the best way to combat this kind of false teaching is to not only say what the Bible says, but to provide a wealth of biblical passages that discuss the exact topic at hand. I know you have done that in other videos specifically for this topic, and you are usually very very good at doing that (whcih I greatly appreciate), but I felt that fell short a little bit here. There are probably a lot of people who watch your videos and legitimately don't know what the Bible specifically says about these things, and pointing them to the specific relevant scriptures is likely the best way to denounce falsehood and support truth. Again, excellent video and I am so glad you are standing up against this foolish and false teaching. I watch and like every single one of your videos and also comment on occasion, your content is very much making a difference and you are speaking truth in love in every sense of the word. This was just some constructive criticism for future thought 👍 Keep at it, your ministry is in my prayers and the prayers of countless others!

The one thing I will give this "pastor" credit for is how clever he is. Based on other videos he has done it appears that he is at least familiar with what the Bible says but then he twist it beyond it's original meaning (if he doesn't omit crucial details entirely). It's not being ignorant of what scripture says it's being in denial of it, and I am not sure which is more dangerous.

These 'preachers' will share a place in hell with the worst criminals in history for not only leading people astray but doing it in Jesus name.

My husband started watching porn very young. He has struggled with it our entire 23 year marriage. I've known him during times of success, times of struggling, and times where he has surrendered to it (and during those times there isn't a single one of the ten Commandments he didn't break). He is a better, healthier, happier person off the porn, whether it's during a season of grace or a season of white knuckles. He is an angry depressed anxious mess when he's watching it.
For what it's worth, Psilocybin aided therapy has given him more relief from the addiction than he thought possible.

This is an amazing comment. I am interested in hearing about your husband's psilocybin doses and those experiences

@@boejiden6587 what would you like to know? He went from multiple hours of p*rn a day at his worst, to being able to make it a week or two between uses at his best. Then he took a psilocybin trip last August and has only used p*rn once in the last seven months (and only briefly. He just opened it out of habit on a really stressful day and quickly realized it was just a mindless reaction, and logged off). The first trip was pretty intense. He tried a second trip and ran into a stubborn mental block, so he started microdosing which seemed to chip away the big wall in his mind. He then needed the microdose less and less. He finally took one last proper trip last month and found nothing left to psychologically process. He hasn't used it since.
His doses were calculated by his weight, but he found the "low" dose just as effective as a medium dose.
He used Golden Teachers for the therapeutic doses and Melmac for the microdoses.

@@boejiden6587 I wouldn't expect otherwise. For what it's worth, after he tried it, I tried it, and found no real benefit ("hey, I'm seeing shapes. Okay...") And then ended up being one of the minority of people who experience heart related side effects. So, like all things with the potential to help, it has the potential to harm, and you should be wary. But I can't deny my husband's benefits have been massive.
