I really aprecciate all the comments from people who have watched the video till the very end, but please don't *just* type the code word lol, it's painful to scroll through meaningless comments xd thanks for watching tho
Honestly the thing I like the most about your vids is that we get to see what Japan (specifically Kyoto) looks like while telling us a storytime :D, btw 🌉
I absolutely love kansai/ Osaka for this exact reason, I have the most random encounters on a night out I swear. One Friday night I met a forigner working for square enix and we were just chatting and having fun (genuinely interested in game design and programming), but we somehow ended up talking to these Japanese guys who could speak English pretty well a bit later in the night, one thing led to another and we actually got invited back to a private bar of the bossman/社長 I think and just said drinks were on him, and man this was a nice bar so I was legit a bit worried but they were like "Nah its honestly fine lol". Few more drinks later and this キャバクラ girl came and sat next to me, and I think we had a pretty similar conversation as you explained talking about that side of work/ although obviously its a bit different. This was in Namba btw started at the Hub (Like any self respecting Gaijin) and ended up in a private bar with 4 strange Japanese guys that had weidly good english, many laughs. Got the instagrams and I was actually shocked this girl was so fucking hot lol, I must of really been drunk because I didn't even realise/ wasn't nervous at all. But I fumbled that shit harder than anything in awhile, so oh well good memories xD
“Bridge” Rafi that’s so cool that you got to meet this girl. I would have loved to ask her questions. I give tours in Tokyo in Kabukicho and red light districts and the strange things with soaplands is that because actual sex prostitution is illegal (and that’s a fun topic because it’s only a specific kind of sex for pay that is illegal), soaplands we’re created. The customer is technically only paying to be “bathed” and the bed is there because sometimes they “fall in love” and decide to go that step further and if they’re in love, then they didn’t pay for sex. But the money exchange is for the “bathing” and not the sex, because that would be illegal LoL. It goes deeper than that and is interesting but I think that’s all I can say in a comment LoL. Keep having fun in your journeys!!
bridge, if you are still counting. You should tell ppl what yaki and tori mean; yaki = grilled and tori = chicken, if not mistaken. Have you tried yakisoba?
Thats how a little can of something can help you crossing the cultural bridge and end up having crazy conversations in Japan xD Kansai people are the best of Japan haha
Bridge. Surely, Rafi, you will want to experience Soapland once at least to add to your adventures in Japan. As the old saying goes, you only live once. From how you tell this tale, it seems you "might" want to. At the least with "the other," being bathed would be pleasant.
Up to 14 costumer seems impossible, i have been in this establisment. The minimum is 60minutes per costumer so that would be 14hours a day then not including cleaning the room up adding new beedsheets cleaning herself up and stuff i guess 8-10 maximum. Still a good video tho
Honestly, here is the most cursed comes to you compared to other video 😅 thanks btw for the vlog and story telling, I am watching u while eating and it adds my fun.
Another long video we love to see it💪🏽keep the content coming Rafi. Is there many bridges like the red one across Tokyo? And I was wondering if you could do another video on how you maintain your knowledge of all the languages you know. I’m still early in the process of trying to learn my first non-native language but it’s tough. Regardless, great video and thanks for keeping us entertained
I will definitely make a video from some shrines! Thanks for the suggestion! And yeah Tokyo also might have some red bridges an Shrines, but definitely not to the extent of beautiful Kyoto. Tokyo is mostly a concrete jungle.
@@rafipuff sorry for the late replay, these are the terms 1- prostitution 2- tipsy 3- get-go 4- invasive questions 5- span 6- chit chat not i only used this video to improve my english but the other storytime vids too, learning meanwhile enjoying the story xD
it's very hard to say, it doesn't really have a literal meaning, although the two kanji that it's composed of could mean something like "bird's resting place", but nobody uses it in the literal sense, it's just a torii gate :D
Me super excited when you said bridge cause I genuinely love bridges and there’s nothing like walking by or actually crossing through a good solid bridge. It sounds so fun to meet new people out and about though. I don’t enjoy bars that much cause I feel like people I’m their early 20s in NY don’t really go to them, unless is like an event or something, i wonder how it differs over there but it also seems like Japan bar culture is so much more developed and fun, I find that we don’t have things that are niche or extremely unique here unfortunately
Damn your comment some how made my day, hard to explain but just seeing how passionate you are about bridges made me realize sometimes the simple things in life are what makes it. Hope you discover many more cool and interesting bridges in your life mate! Cheers! 💛

You're completely right, I actually also made a video about this fascinating loophole hahah, thanks for the comment brother!
Hearing this story was a great start to my morning! Also, BRIDGE!
Did anyone noticed all the people that waved from behind?

Rafi probably asked for a discount
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Watching your videos always makes me miss Japan. I need to find a way to stay there long term and not just a temporary bridge!
12:57 I'm honestly surprised they even accept foreigners. How would they communicate if they don't speak Japanese??

Perfect present for my birthday, děkuji! ❤

Btw i also have a question that some soap land girls work in a soap land for yakuzas because of a debt but why do they get to have debts??

I'm curious if you could film/take a video of the shrines inside. Do Tokyo have bridges that are red or only Kyoto? 🤔
