I watched this full video! The Guy who sit beside to her, have no clue what she is doing all of sudden, and He also from same party. And, I'm also not convinced, Why her mood swing in the middle of a Parliament Session to do this?
What are you talking about? If you watched the full video, you saw the man beside her even mouthing some of the words with her. She is obviously reciting a well-known "haka," as clearly shone by the people in the audience who are reciting it along with her. And the full parliament gave her a standing ovation at the end.
@@ebeneezerslpooge9864 One of her known political issues is the preservation of Maori culture and language, which is symbolized by their "haka." She recited a traditional "haka" that everyone in that parliament knew practically by heart. It doesn't matter whether you, as a foreigner, understands. The fact that she got a standing ovation by the entire parliament is evidence that _they_ understand.
@@rdkirk3834 right... You never answered the question of who is she declaring war on. She could've chose many, many different things to do but she chose a war cry. And the fact that the rest of parliament seems to agree is even more concerning. It doesn't exactly send the message of peace between the natives and the Europeans who have been living there for hundreds of years as well, who had nothing to do with the displacement of their people or culture. Perhaps I'm reading way too far into, and I certainly don't have an understanding of any of their culture, but a war cry seems pretty easy to understand. I just worry if in 50 or so years we'll see something like the South African farm attacks, or something along the lines of the Rhodesian bush war. Just saying a war cry doesn't exactly scream "coexist"
