Being a Brit and a US citizen, I would recommend visiting Oxford if you can. London and UK transport is pretty good in general although a lot of Brits would probably disagree with me. It can get a little expensive if you don’t do your research. A lot has changed in the UK since I lived there in the 80’s, especially pricing. For US travelers, sometimes a UK rail card is the best option. This is only available for international visitors and can be purchased ahead of your trip. It can really save you money. An expat in Florida.
Heathrow after a long haul flight can be a an absolute circus . Early morning especially when most of the long range flights turn up . I prefer to get a flight into Heathrow and around lunch time even then Heathrow can still be hectic. Around 6am to 9am and around 4pm till around 7pm London before the covid thing can be manic . So try and get in after these times to avoid the rush hour . That's personally how I do it anyway . Happy travels . Renata your presentation was excellent.
I spend 2 weeks a year in London for family visit/vacation. I am so tired of economy class from St. Louis to LHR. Glad I found your video. Almost pulled the trigger on business class, but just too much. I just booked Delta comfort plus for this February. It was only a few hundred dollars more.

Great video, I prefer to buy a travel card for the tube, may not be as quick as the Heathrow Express, the advantage is that you can then use the travel card to travel around London on the tube & London red buses for the rest of the day.
Thank you! That's what we did with TFL Rail. You can use a travel card there too, it's not like Heathrow Express. We used Apple Pay and then you can continue using Apple Pay or Google Pay for the tube throughout the day. It caps the same way and you don't spend the $$ buying the card
@@RenataPereiraTV fun fact! Tfl rail is the a placeholder name for the service, where Transport for London obtained the operation right for their own service on the National Rail network, when the work in the central tunnel finishes it will be running as Crossrail (or as some people might call it Elizabeth Line ;) ) and it will be an ultra-high capacity, 2 minute interval commuter service running East to West right through central London. My town is about 35 miles away from London, and when Crossrail opens, we will be able to use the same ticketing system as London as well :)
I wish I would’ve seen this last year! My sister and I drove to Pittsburgh from central Ohio, flew to Boston, then from Boston to LHR. It was our first time flying anywhere. After the first flight (barely long enough to really be up at peak height for more than 20 minutes) we thought it wasn’t so bad! She didn’t like the flying part but I loved it! 💚 Anyway, we made it to LHR in about 5 1/2 hours, much sooner than the planned 7 hours! We were still grumpy from traveling ALL day, had no idea where we were going because our phones weren’t working underground, and we couldn’t figure out the tube maps. By the end of the week, we were pros at it! The flights were the WORST part. I don’t know how someone can love flying as much as I do but hate it at the same time. 🤷🏻♀️😂 I will definitely be booking Delta Comfort + for our trip to Amsterdam next year! Thank you so much for showing us what it’s really like!
How’s the trip over to travel cities to cities and also visit the other places like the castle etc.cause I want to go visit there but idk much about the country and what the cost there?
You're allowed to film and photographs at Paddington. I even took pictures of the trains at Heathrow, they must have got a little more stringent since I was last there.
Victor King The guard asked me to stop filming at the Heathrow Express/TFL Rail entrance at Heathrow, and from that point on I got more cautious... Yeah, at Paddington I didn’t have problems either, I guess it was just me being over cautious upon arrival 😂😉✌️
In addition to the English cities you went to I think it's also worth going to Oxford, Cambridge, York, Bath as well as some Scottish cities such as Edinburgh and the Highlands. These are beautiful places and will give you a different feel to cities like Nottingham, Birmingham and Manchester.
@@RenataPereiraTV and in addition to your additions you should go to Beautiful Devon and Cornwall two of the best counties in the country! and where i grew up. i live in Cambridge now so that's a good one, Brighton as well is great for quaint shops and it's culture.

Tim Kerwin thank you for watching. I always recommend the upgrade seats for over night flights. The extra few inches are important especially for stretching and sleeping. Now I don't know what the extra cost is and keep in mind the baggage, does it include? I believe they do but that may always change. The airline websites are making it clear about buying basic economy that do not include baggage for free...including overseas. With the current situation I could see that change for better than economy seats.
Thanks! I use different cameras for different videos, depending on the conditions and circumstances of what I’m shooting. For this video specifically I used the Osmo Pro

You said you were seated close to a toilet cubicle. I hope your journey wasn't as restless as mine when I returned to the UK from Minneapolis/St Paul (MSP) via Amsterdam. Travelling with NorthWest, I was allocated a seat adjacent to the rear toilet on a 747. It was extremely unpleasant as it seemed many of the passengers suffered with weak bladders during the flight. The procession of passengers using the toilet seemed un-ending!
